You're playing a parent, you're at Mr. Rattlebones's circus with your child. You never heard of this but hey it's a carnival and you love your kid Everything's nice and happy However, the lights go out and when power's back your child has disappeared suddenly a creepy, very overexcited voice on the intercom comes on:
"Welcome, girls and boys. My name is Rattlebones, and you have been cordially invited to spend the day at my Fabulous Festival of Dice! Play games! Win prizes! Ride the train! I'll be wandering about the park, and if you're the first one to find me, you win! Won't that be delightful?"
You and three other parents are the last people in this carnival after dark and need to find your kid before your kid finds Mr. Rattlebones and hopefully find out what/who/why about Mr. Rattlebones.
This was an interest check for a free RP check a couple of weeks ago but I think this type of game can be stretched into a casual one quite easily. I'm an easy going man however there is one rule I will be a stickler about please start your post with this header. I always have trouble when people don't use this header and I get stuck and I post a long well-planned post and it's invalidated because I can't tell where everyone is because people use purple prose and assume I understand them. I get grumpy, confused and frustrated when people don't do this and I will have zero tolerance on something that can easily be remedied without a pause in the action in the OOC thread. Every other rule is basically every other RP rule in existence.
Mr. Rattlebones's Fabulous Festival of Dice is a pretty standard carnival though for some reason it has a stock market in it (again it's a mystery, whether it's significant to finding your kid is another story all together). I will post more including pictures from the game that inspired this RP.
