I am a twenty-seven year old RPer who works a job with none-too-amazing hours and, although I've never tried 1x1's before, I am looking to get into some partnered RPing - hence the reason for this thread.
A couple of things about me that will influence a choice of partner;
Phew! Sorry about the long list, and if you've read this far then I'll assume you're serious about RPing with me.
Most people would usually make a list of their favourite settings/fandoms about now, but the truth is that - apart from particularly favouring historical settings - I've really nothing that I'd not like to RP, and if there is something I don't know about then I'm willing to do some 'research' into it.
The only things on my no-no list are animes (excluding more westernised ones), and those that would break the RPG guidelines. All else is fair game, as far as I'm concerned.
SO, is there anyone who'd like to pitch me a setting I can get my teeth into, either via PM or in this thread?

I am a pretty open person, as in very open, I will be looking for people of a likewise mindset - and this will require partners to be 18+ thank you - able to cope with and write their own more mature posts; no fading to black, swearing is fine, descriptions of gore are fine if within context etc.
2. When it comes to gender, I can be anything you want me to be, and have no problem RPing a male, female, transgender or 'other'. The same goes for mythological beings/beasts and fictional individuals. The only place I draw the line is at minors and animals if it comes to involving more intimate posts.
3. I like to construct my RPs with my partner - if you have an idea or a direction you'd like to go, then please do tell me! 1x1 has always seemed to me to be something that two folks build together, and I'd like to keep it that way.
4. Post quality and quantity is not something I care too much about. Yes, I would prefer a partner with a decent grasp of the English language, grammar and so on, and I ask for quality over quantity; if you can write high quality novels, then feel free to do so, but if not then don't sweat it overly.
5. As I said, I work a terrible job, but will try to post regularly or keep to an agreed schedule, and would expect a partner to do the same.
6. If you have any questions, or requests, do ask.
7. RPs will be taking place over PM, this is both due to potential content and just so we know where everything is.
