Dim stood in the midst of the zombie remains. She slowly turned three-hundred and sixty degrees, scanning the horizon with her keen feline sight. The silvery light of the moon illuminated the battlefield enough for Dim to notice a tower in the distance and a faint glow near it. The cleric wondered if that light was connected to the light phenomenon that had brought her to this place. Of one thing she was certain. Undead horde notwithstanding. The Queen had not brought her here. Their interrupted conversation attested to that. If not her, who then? Dim questioned no one in particular.

As an afterthought she realized the tiefling was speaking to her and another female. She didn't ignore the question or the introduction out of rudeness. It was just that she had more pressing matters to attend to. A mystery had presented itself before her and Dim was compelled to unravel it. Who had brought her here? Why? Had they all arrived at the same time or not? She crouched down to take a closer look at the zombie remains. She peered at the putrid refuse with her keen investigator eyes and something seem odd to her. In all her time working for the Queen, destroying undead, investigating leads and any and all things related, she had never seen undead quite like these. These were not the undead from her world! She couldn't detect any lingering magic from them. But it seemed all the zombies had come from the same place going off on what they were wearing and such.

Dim's attention was drawn back to the living as she heard the merchant looking female answer the tiefling's question. Her ears perked up and she stood slowly turning to face the others. The merchant, Anna apparently, seemed unusually cheery considering the circumstances. But that could be just a defense mechanism to deal with the stress of being surrounded by zombies. Her style of dress didn't match that of the zombies, so she could have come from a different place. Dim had noticed something else interesting about her as she'd watched the nimble Anna evade the dwarf's attempt at restraining her. There was a mark on her left arm that Dim though she recognized as a seal of nobility. Well... that is very interesting. She appeared to be truthful in her answer to the devil-kin's question, but there was more to Anna the Merchant than she let on.

Dim directed her gaze at the one who'd introduced herself as Mila. The tiefling. "I am Dim." She said. "Forgive my delay in introduction. I simply wanted to have a better grasp at the situation before I had anything useful to offer." Dim's penetrating blue eyes scanned everyone before her from head to toe. The tiefling, Mila, appeared frail in body, but strong in spirit and magical power. The male dwarf was stocky and powerful looking. And there was also an even more impressive looking female, who seemed like she could best a dozen seasoned warriors single-handed. There was a halfling female as well, who appeared to be another magic user. And the group was rounded up by a mechanical looking frog-thing and a unicorn. "As it stands I'm currently only sure of one thing. I was not brought here to take care of this." She gestured at the decimated zombies. "I was in communion with my patron when I was transported here and our conversation interrupted." The tabaxi finished and fell silent. She would not give any further information freely.

Once again it was over, in a matter of seconds an entire legion of the undead destroyed by the efforts of the living. Well all but one, as the merchant seemed to pack her wares only to be assaulted by the dwarf. Or rather attempted to as it was rather humorous to see the man fail to get a hold of the slippery woman, one step ahead of the monk as she dodged his efforts not once but twice. With the battle finished without a scratch or sweat broken, there was little fervor in the Valkyrie left, her raging zeal subsided as easily as it came. The frenzy of battle had left her drenched in the reeking guts of her zombie opponent, of which befouled her graceful airs with the barbarity of war. Not that Alex would mind being covered in the anointment of splattered foes in the heat of combat, yet now as it was over there were standards of hygiene a woman must keep. Adal trotted back to Alex's side, a shield-brother reuniting with his sister, with his detection noting all the undead remaining among them. Thrusting her spear down and removing the embedded tip from the lifeless corpse, the amazon retrieved a stoppered flask from the unicorn's saddle and stowed the weapon away into the magical quiver slung across her back.

"Fountain." The command word uttered as the warrior lifted her head up and unstoppered the flask, letting the rush of fresh water cascade over her awaiting face. Flowing down from the decanter of endless water, a river to wash away the remains of the day, an instant shower that tamed her wild locks against her back and wet her clothes to cling against her body revealing the sculpted female musculature beneath the soaked fabric. Normally a bath or lake would have been prefered, yet bar the dwarf, they were in the company of women-folk bar the dwarf, and there was no need to be modest around the girls. The Beast-kin seemed genuine enough in her devotion to the Raven Queen, a god Alex has heard of and associated with her pantheon's Hel. The Merchant also seemed trustworthy despite her lack of contributions to the fight, a trader however could not be expected to wield her wares in combat. However her words seemed far too gleeful given the situation. More so it appeared she was a frequenter of strange place such as these given her reply. Yet no one knew who had brought them here, or why they were brought here, or where 'here' even was judging by the answers of the newcomers. Nevermind, let the keener minds of their number solve the mystery, Alex had only an interest in returning, and Adal was always the more cerebral of the pair yet he too had so far been silent on the matter. The shower thoughts and shower was over as the last of the water fell from the bottle, and the decanter was returned to Adal's saddle.

"Well Met! I am Alex, and this is my shield-brother Adal. None have claim responsibility for our transport here. Perhaps a nearby settlement will have answers?" Spoken as Alex and Adal approached the congregating group, gathering her flattened hair in her hands to one side over her left shoulder. The drops of water on her bare arms flicking every now and then with her movements, she would dry off soon enough, "Or shall we make camp here for the night? There are plenty of trees for firewood." Almost as if by telepathy, the unicorn's horn glowed a soft white as a crystalline snowflake appeared floating above its tip suggesting the weather to come, it was clear the pair knew each other well. "Adal predicts snowfall. So do we brave the elements or wander into the unknown of this land?"

Mila's gaze scoured the aloof cleric as she was reminded by the priestesses that had raised her. The uptight followers of the Raven Queen rarely showed much emotion, and this tabaxi evidently was one of them. The undead foes had barely begun to tap into this cleric's abilities, and indeed, Mila had little chance to see what sort of cleric she actually was. Did she focus on healing? War? Death and destruction? No, she had simply annihilated the zombies with an ease that only a talented cleric could show.

Certainly impressive. But information would be more useful at this point.

"Dim, was it?" Mila replied with a winning smile. "Your patron must be the Raven Queen, from the way you took care of those undead. The Matron must be proud of her... cleric, I believe? I was raised in the Raven's Crest, so I know many of her teachings. It is good to see another of her number with us." There was little reason to ask her for more information at this point; she would share when she felt willing. However, an offer of camaraderie and shared history rarely was undesired.

Instead, the bard turned her attention to the unicorn and his master. "Snow? That is... unexpected. I would prefer to not be caught out in the cold. Reminds me too much of my heritage..." The chilledembrace of Levistus was not something she wished to experience again. "I suggest we find shelter. Perhaps someone in that tower has some answers, as no one here seems to. Who's with me?!" The bard began to stroll forward, humming a tune to the sound of her lyre.

Rygar was overcome with his shame of not being able to grab hold of the merchant. As expected, this Anna had her surprises like the rest of the group. Safe to say she was not as out of place as she seemed. He didn't like the uncertainty of it all. The creatures of his forest were simple to understand. Driven by instincts and nature, their actions were predictable. People were more complicated for him to understand. Far too often he met people with hidden motives. He would have to be on his guard, as the moment it dropped, any one of these women could be the end for him.

"I can only imagine the power behind this resides in that structure, thus it will not be easy to approach. Perhaps, we should set up camp in the trees. See if we can't draw them out." It was a decent plan, not that he expected any one to agree to it. He merely decided to provide an alternative. He certainly felt safer among the trees than an open field towards a potential threat. Then, there was the concern of being caught in the dark and snow in unfamiliar territory. The more he thought about it, the more he liked the idea of setting up a base camp.

Dim peered at Mila and released a soft scoff at being mistaken for one of the Queen's fateful servants.

"The Queen and I have a..." She paused, trying to best describe her relationship with her patron. "... a working relationship, yes." She confirmed, but was unwilling to go any deeper into it with this virtual stranger. Still, there was no need for rudeness or any reason to be ill-mannered with these people. "She was just about to bestow a new task on me, when we were so rudely interrupted and I found myself here, surrounded by undead. Knowing Her dislike for their ilk I found no reason not to get rid of them for Her."

Dim's eyes narrowed at the sound of splashing water. She was a clean person, but try as she might, her feline nature always made her feel uneasy for a split second before surrendering herself to water of any kind. A quiet growl or hiss or something in between escaped her throat, before she could keep herself in check. Her weary blue eyes followed transfixed the movements of the mighty female warrior washing zombie entrails off her powerful body. Dim let a sigh of relief when the water splashing was done with and the mighty warrior introduced herself as Alex and the magnificent looking unicorn as Adal, her shield-brother.

The tabaxi's ears perked up when Alex related Adal's prediction of snowfall and her feline face rearranged itself into a frown. Lovely, more water! She shook herself out of her grim thoughts concerning water showers in crystalline form in time enough to here the dwarf's suggestion. She considered for a bit. She was not tired. It was early in the day when she was taken. And here, where she was now, it was nighttime. She had no need for rest yet. But with the impending snowfall and lack of information, she supposed setting up base camp was not a bed idea. Still, she itched to sink her sharp cat teeth into this new mystery.

"I am not opposed to setting up base camp." She said to the entire group. "However as it was early in the day for me when I was taken, I am not nearly tired enough to warrant a rest. I can perhaps scout ahead. She if I can find anything more before we make a plan of action?"

She surveyed the group. Thoughts of betrayal by any of them were not the front-most ones in her mind. If they ended up betraying her, the Queen would simply get Her due and retrieve her soul, which belonged to Her anyway as per their arrangement.

Harridan kept tabs on the merchant while everyone spoke. It was interesting to see someone who seemed to actually have some inkling of what this place actually was. Still, she looked familiar and that could mean trouble. Returning back to the group, her frog followed behind her and she replied to the cleric. "While, I'm sure you're not tired at all; you should take a rest along with everyone else. No telling when another light show will bring more trouble. If you want, you can keep me company. I'll be standing guard all night in case someone does appear."

"And you, goat girl; not so fast. The dwarf has a better idea, of sitting and waiting. At least until we're all ready. While I'm sure nothing is going to randomly exit the structure, no need to barge in at the end of our peak performance. And you, valkyrie." For some reason Harridan had trouble looking at the bathed woman; adverting her eyes to the skies and studying the lack of clouds. "I'm sure it will be some time before snow falls, if that horse of yours told us something accurate. Find something warm."

Harridan pulled out her bed roll and laid it down in a bundle with her bag of holding and back pack; pulling out a handful of platinum pieces. "And you, merchant. Let us discuss business in private. I'm curious on what wares you hold." Harridan leading her north, behind one of the trees.

"It is settled then! We camp here tonight." A nod at the rest of the group as the warrior woman reached into her bag of holding to withdraw a set of handaxes. Taking one in each hand with the obvious intent of murdering a nearby tree. A tilt of the neck to either side came with audible pops, a roll of her shoulders, all in preparation to be the lumberjack. All she needed now was to wear plaid flannel and grow a gristly beard, and with her body she'd convince anyone she was a frontiersman, emphasis on man. Fortunately her feminine curves reduced the stark visualization, if only mildly so as her wet over-the-shoulder hair. Walking past the breaking group the Valkyrie headed towards the treeline, similar to the Anna and Harridan albeit "Prepare the camp grounds, pitch your tents ladies, I'll go grab us some wood."

Settling into the forest, no enemies were in sight, save for the trees themselves. Selecting one among them to fall, Alex began her work, undisturbed by the falling leaves as the tree's rebuttal against her strokes. Unwavering strength with each blow, splitting the bark hack by hack, the might of her honed body shining through the workout. With nary a sweat broken, the forest lost a tree, crashing down amidst the thicket with a quaking thud. Yet the work was not quite done as the female lumberjack continued to butcher the verdant corpse, splitting apart the trunk into a manageable pillar of wood. Sap like blood oozed and splattered out the axe cuts chipped away into the pith. Until at last it was finished, and finally the muscular woman found herself perspiring, a single tree was more effort than the witch or zombies combined. Wiping her brow off before hoisting the massive totem over her shoulder with a grunt, a feat of strength beyond lesser men with a burden of close to quarter ton, the barbarian zealot marched back towards the campground, axes freshly dripping of sap but their magic nature kept their edges still keen.

Returning to camp about an hour after her departure, Alex found her shield-brother grazing on the grass of this strange world. The trees were not so different, nor evidently was the grass as the Unicorn glanced at the haul of wood the Valkyrie carried. She'll need to cut it down to campfire size, a single tree trunk was quite massive, although perhaps the spearmaiden had ideas to make furnishings such as a table for them share meal with. Though there was a distinct lack of ale or mead to go around, perhaps the merchant had some? If she returned they would have to trade certainly, coin was no good in the wilderness, food and drink were more important. The cat-kin seemed more interesting however, another devotee of the divines, sure Mila had mentioned something but there was something admirable about a faithful servant that Alex could admire.

"You follow the Raven Queen then? I have heard of her. She is no goddess of mine. But she seems to be similar to Hel, among the gods I serve." A conversation started as the human set to work on restructuring the great piece of wood with her single handaxe. Between the rhythmic sounds of wood being chopped, the casual conversation between strangers forced together, "Where I come from, the goddess Hel rules the dread afterlife for those who fall of disease and age. Valhalla and Freyja's Field are reserved for those who died in glorious battle. I pray that one day I may be worthy of entering the gates of Valhalla." An quick explanation of Alex's understanding of her pantheon's afterlife policies. There were complexities beyond them, but those were for those higher within the ranks to explain to the lowly folk such as her. Even a Templar could not fully explain the cosmos, but was it not the truest faith to believe in something that may not even be true? "We are both women of faith, and I wonder, if the gods have brought us here. But I am no priest or seer, so I must ask of you if my thoughts may be true."

A few pieces chucked into a growing pile, plucked clean and stamped down by Adal in preparation. He was the only man for Alex, for truly they knew each other well so much as for him to prepare a patch of bare earth for the campfire. Touching the pile with his horn the flames ignited. The many uses of druidcraft, the fire crackling soon enough, and the half-hewn long-hall table set a few feet before the burning flames. Taking a seat by the fire to warm and dry the remains of her damp clothes, her hair slowly curling back into a wild tangle as the Valkyrie motioned the Cat-cleric to sit by the warm inferno of Muspelheim and discuss her thoughts.

It was decided the group would make camp and Dim watched as the halfling pulled Anna the Merchant away with her presumably to do some business. She shifted her gaze disinterested with whatever the duo went on to do and rummaged in her for a piece of silver wire and a tiny bell. She didn't really know if this new place she found herself in was wrought with dangers, but she also wasn't about to leave it to chance so she started preparing to cast her alarm ward around the campsite. One of her ears rotated to acknowledge Alex, the still very wet valkyrie, who was setting off to find them some firewood.

Dim was about done with the set up for her spell when the tower of a woman returned with a load of lumber on her mighty shoulders. She was not glistening with what seemed to be perspiration from her lumberjack efforts. It accentuated every small muscle, etched on her skin which Dim was unable not to notice with her eye for detail. Her eyes traveled up and down following every minute movement, entranced, as the warrior woman chopped down the wood into smaller pieces. She was brought back from her reverie as Alex spoke.

"You follow the Raven Queen then? I have heard of her. She is no goddess of mine. But she seems to be similar to Hel, among the gods I serve." She went on explaining some about how divinity worked in her world, but proclaimed she was no priest or seer.

Dim scoffed at the question posed on her. Are diligent followers all you have in your hordes of servants? The tabaxi asked of her patron. She inclined her head, peering into Alex's eyes. "Follow is not accurate." She explained fishing out a wooden box from her backpack. "Like I said earlier. The Queen and I have a working relationship." The box was opened and from it a small foldable carton board produced with a pouch that sounded like it contained stones. And indeed, Dim carefully upturned the pouch onto the carton board that looked to be squared off into a 13x13 grid. The stones were round and flattened and were of equal amount white and black. The cleric organized them on the board and raised her head to look at Alex. "The Queen has enough followers. I'm more of a..." She squinted her feline eyes, searching for the right word. "... an enforcer." She finished almost ominously.

As the cleric began moving the stones in unfathomable patterns on the board, she asked: "What do you make of all of this?" She peered at Alex with her peripheral vision. "Do you know of any such occurrence of beings being transported like this? Maybe there are tails of it in your world. Legends or myts?" She pressed on still playing the strange board game of hers, lifting her head sporadically to look at her companion upon every few moves.

Something didn't sit right with Mila about this merchant. Her excessive jolliness about this situation made Mila think maybe she knew something that should be shared with the class. When Harridan decided to take Anna to the forest line to discuss wares, that only made Mila more curious. To be fair, the saying said nothing about curiosity killing tieflings, and the tabaxi was staying back with the group. After the Valkyrie announced her intention to find a tree to make a fire with, Mila piped up. "I'll grab some kindling, then," she added, darting into the trees.

The tiefling didn't make it obvious what her real intentions were, of course, but after doubling back to where the merchant and halfling had disappeared to, she took her time to remain quiet. Where Mila was from, there was little more valuable than a secret, and even less that was worth stealing. As she approached, the halfling was casting an identify spell on the products, musing over a couple of magic rods. "Interesting items. I once knew someone with similar not too long ago. You do know why you were summoned, do you?"

"Well, I can certainly guess; teehee," Anna replied. "Though, I'm not much of a fighter; you know. It doesn't pay enough. But if you or your friends need anything, I'll be happy to sell at the right price. A girl's got to make her living, and one way or another I'll get out of here as well. Be it items, weapons, or food; I'll gladly sell you what I have; even if your currency is different than ours. Though If I'm going to have to supply food, I'll need to see what game there are around these parts."

Summoned... get out of here. Mila's ears perked up. These two definitely knew something, and were definitely hiding it. The halfling purchased the rods and began to head towards the camp, while Anna packed up her wares and headed deeper into the woods. Mila could only follow one of them, but only one of them had fought alongside them. The merchant had little reason to trust or reply to Mila, and it seemed that she knew how to take care of herself in a fight as well. No, there was only one real choice. As Harridan approached, Mila decided to step out from behind a tree. "So, why were we summoned, then?" she asked with a smile.

"Summoned? And why, goat girl, do you think so?"

Mila watched the halfling's expression, but was not rewarded with as much as a startled glance. Fine. We'll do it the hard way, if we have to, she thought in response. "The name is Mila. And I'm just repeating what I heard you say. So I'll ask it once more: Why were we summoned? I just want to get back as fast as possible." The tiefling's hand lightly rested on the hilt of her sword, and her smile remained, almost increasing in its intensity. A dangerous look that she had given her prey many times, and usually enough to get information out of someone before needing to resort to violence.

"Alright, Mila. The fastest way back home is through that building." Harridan waved an unknown rod in Mila's face, a scowl spreading. "As for why; we were summoned to survive. Apart from that, I don't really know, nor do I care. There is an exit, and we leave once everyone rests. Is that all, Goat Girl?"

"Just one more thing," Mila replied, seemingly unphased by the halfling's perturbance. "Why the secrecy? Shouldn't everyone know why we're here and how to leave? If it's a secret, I can keep it. Otherwise, I'll just share with everyone." Her hand remained at her hilt, although the light tension from before had relaxed. The halfling spoke from experience, and experience was a commodity everyone else seemed to be lacking. It would be a shame to waste it. "I'm not your enemy here, as far as I know. We should work together, not in secret."

"Tell them if you must. I just .... made some mistakes. But as long as we're heading in the right direction then there was nothing to worry about." Harridan brushed passed Mila, moving closer to camp. "I suggest we hurry. I don't know how much food Anna will be able to come up with, but our days might be limited without having to resort to eating those zombies."

Mila nodded and followed behind her. "If mistakes were made, perhaps sharing with the class might be useful. No need to repeat mistakes, right? And, if you've come back here, I suppose that means our witchy friend isn't gone forever, either. It might be a good idea to share what you've learned with us once we get back." She offered a smile, although this one seemed... kinder, softer. "If the goal is to survive, we can help each other, right? No need to make it harder on anyone."

"Not the kind of mistake I'd like to make public, dear." And with that she entered the camp. Gathering her bags and putting away both of the rods within her bag of holding.

Hmmm... could have gotten more information, but it's a start at least, Mila thought as she followed the halfling in. "So, it turns out that you don't need kindling with magical fire!" the tiefling added with an absentminded giggle as they entered the camp. "I still think we should head towards that tower some more, but I won't complain about a bit of a rest. Is there anything I can do to help?"

Rygar stood guard while the others started moving into the woods. This place was eerily different from his homeland. He found his thoughts dwelling on a remark the merchant made. She had mentioned, quite casually, that she is familiar with such strange places appearing. A sort of gateway to other worlds he gathered from her comments. How such a thing was possible and the extent of its meaning was well beyond him. He kept wondering if he had some how stumbled upon this gate. That wasn't possible. He knew his territory like the back of his hand. He would have known if such a strong force of magic was lingering in its corners.

He felt a little guilty as it took the return of Alex to draw him out of his thoughts. Had an enemy approached, Rygar would have noticed too late. He remained vigilant until the fire was set, then joined the others around it. He listened to the religious exchange. He released a scoff, quick to catch himself and hope the women hadn't noticed. Religion and him were not on good terms. He pulled out his pan flute to play a simple melody. With all the distractions of the day, it wasn't his best work. He stopped when the others began to emerge from the trees.

"Apologies, Mila. I'm not used to so much fighting in a day. Perhaps a quick scouting trip could satisfy both our desires?"

Anna the Merchant

It was always nice doing business with folk, but it was too bad that she wouldn't be able to restock her supply until she found a way back. Furthermore, even though the halfling seemed to recognize some of her items; a lot of her stuff still seemed foreign to her. Not that the party didn't look foreign to herself, but she'd might have to help out the party when making a selection. Whatever got her paid. Anna hopped back to the camp everyone was sitting at. "Good news everyone~ My items, while supplies last, are free to be sold. I'll have the prices marked as such, but I'm afraid this is all I have until I'm sent back to my world to restock. Sadly, this also means this is what food we have until then. I just checked the woods and the small pond on the other side. No such beasts to gain food from. Ah well.~" Joining the rest of the group, Anna didn't do much unless directly interacted with. Usually off in her own world, humming a tune or a lullaby.

With a grumble, Harridan went back to the merchant. "Are you sure you wont sell me that shoddy bow of yours? .... In that case I'll take one of them Blessed Shortbows of yours. I'll need a quiver full of arrows as well." It was forever ago since she last touched a real weapon. But this was the place, if any, to pick one up again. Not that she had to use it, but now it was an option.

"Thanks for your purchase; no refunds~"

"Yeah." Harridan began rearranging her bags, putting her backpack inside her bag of holding and grabbing her weapons and rods; putting them in a place with easy access.

As Mila produced the sword and presented it to her, Dim seemed flummoxed for a moment. It was hard to tell if it was because she hadn't expected such a thoughtful gesture from the tiefling, or because she'd lived on her own for so long after becoming one of the Queen’s clerics that she didn't remember what it was like to feel the kindness of others. Her job certainly didn't lend itself to creating friendly relationships. So the tabaxi stood there, perplexed for a moment, before realizing she needed to do or say something.

"I... “ She stumbled uncharacteristically. "Thank you, very thoughtful..." She stared at the blade for a moment, feeling a familiar energy from it. Recognizing it for what it was and what it could do for someone with her occupation, she raised her gaze and focused her blue eyes on Mila. "Very thoughtful indeed. I am grateful." She took the offered weapon and attached the sheathed blade on her belt, bowed her head to Mila as a way of disengaging from the conversation and started stowing away her gameboard accoutrement. "I shall scout the campsite vicinity as I am still not tired enough for rest." She announced to all present and slinging her backpack onto her back disappeared among the trees.

Dim moved effortlessly between the greenery, her cat's eyes gleaming in the dark. She could see just fine without light even though only in grey tones. She explored the vicinity looking for any signs of life. Well, non-animal life at least. If she could find a camp site, even an abandoned one, she could glean something about the native inhabitants of this place she was transported to. And if she could learn any information about the natives, she might be able to recognize the location. And from there possibly devising a way to get back to where she belonged. Mayhap now that Anna has filled her coin pouch with our gold, she'd be more inclined to answer some... uncomfortable questions. Dim mused as she surveyed the area.

It was unfortunate she couldn't find any sign of non-animal life. It was more interesting that she wasn't finding any signs of other life as well. No animals, insects, critters. In fact the forest floor was so pristine, one would think they were not in the woods, but walking on a rug made to imitate grass. Very strange indeed. Nature was never this clean and neat. Even if there was order to her, there was also chaos.

Deciding it would be fruitless to continue scouting, Dim headed back to their camp site. As she rejoined her new companions she peered towards Anna and pounced.

"So, Anna, tell me why is a noblewoman like yourself masquerading as a traveling merchant? And how is it that you have a way in and out of this... whatever and wherever this is?" Dim asked, her sharp cat teeth gleeming against the moon light.

Anna the Merchant

Looking quite cheery with her bag full of clanking coins; the merchant looked up at the inquisitive cat and nodded. Dim may have not participated in the shopping herself, but it was still her coins that Mila used.

"Oh-ho~ Am I that poor of a peddler to be identified so easily? Though I suppose it is rather hard to keep my heritage that much of a secret with this ... birthmark of mine. Though I am a merchant, tehee. My mom, my aunts, my sisters. We're all merchants and always have been. As for this place, It seems like an ordinary outrelm-"

"Right." Harridan interjected, looking at the moon. She doubted any more conflict would stir up tonight, even though the zombies seemed a bit much; even if their new cleric friend split through them like butter. Mallory would also notify her should something unexpected arise. "I suggest everyone get as much rest as they can. When the sun rises, we'll head to the tower and see what tomorrow will bring. Perhaps we can even get on top of it and see if there is anything worthwhile nearby."

And with that, the halfling laid down; using her bag of holding as a pillow and stared into the black sky. Watching as clouds began to roll in.

Morning came for the combatants. The sun was hidden behind the clouds and the temperature was nearly freezing. The zombies had somehow disappeared while everyone rested. Various noises flooded the island, though too far away to see or distinguish what was being said. Anna was already packed and ready to go. Willing to follow the group unless otherwise noted. Harridan, too, was awake. Looking off towards the tower, though perplexed on weather or not to head straight there or if they should see what their neighbors were up to. All through the night, her mind hung on Mila's words. Resigning herself to the back of the party.

"Alright Goat Girl. You know Where I say we need to go. Of course, If any of you others have a better course of action; I'll follow as well. I think perhaps I have too much baggage to let myself in command of others. But, there is a way back home; and its through that tower. Just choose every decision carefully. You never know what can or will harm you."
