@Muttonhawk Entertainment. They're ex-Horde.

Hmm, I was thinking of working the guy into Yorum, but might be a bit difficult unless entertainment to an ex-hordeboi can be achieved with music.

Unless this mercenary would like to join in with Ch'eater down in the south. That'll be much more brutal. But that means they won't be featured for a while.

Ehhh, I'll leave it open for someone else to take. For now.

This reminds me about a Grotling joke I wanted to make, actually. What does the 'nact' part of 'Tauganactsa' mean, exactly? Tauga's... Angels? Bitches? Lawyers?

This will never be explained.

My headcanon is that they all follow Tauga's YouTube channel, forming a toxic adolescent fanbase known as the Taugang. Tauganactsa is just the Grotling language equivalent of the Taugang portmanteau.

It had better be a lot of souls to obtain magic powerful enough to nuke a city. Souls aren't exactly rare.

Of course. It also depends on the power of the soul. Don't worry, you know I don't do OP shit.

...actually, would anyone like a sentient White Giant mercenary on their side? Preferably a Vestec-worshipping one with Holy magic and a turbocharge? Call now.

ed: and flame decals.

Ama would certainly find use for them.

So, I've realised that for the population of [New] Chronos to grow from 74 to ~82,000 over billions of years... it would have to be abominably slow. The growth rate would have to be something like 0.[lotsa zeroes]1%

I guess they're just not into making babies. Or something

Do aging and/or gestation periods for new babies stay on the timescale of the world outside new Chronos? Maybe they just have multi-millenium long pregnancies.

@Muttonhawk Nop, everything is more or less the same inside Chronos, just the time thing and the decorative red clouds (because Vowzra).

This has me thinking. A mortal wanting a quick kid could just stand at the gate and push his newly pregnant wife in. She comes out a second later with a kid. They can go for funtimes right there and then, push her in. Voila, two babies an hour apart, you've got a family.

Imagine that, you could make a whole army...

But yeah, don't think the Victors will take kindly to mortals screwing at the Gate >.>

Forget Victors, the marriage that survives this could conquer the world unaided.

She's actually in the Amestris area to start with, so she could end up involved with Jericho or the lot. She'll probably move on eventually, though. Mercenaries are notoriously unreliable after all.

She'll be happy if she gets to beat the shit out of some raiders every once in a while.

The downside is, now that I'm actually thinking about her, she's spontaneously developed not only a personality but also motives. She'll accept cash, and some very specific other favours.

My headcanon is that they all follow Tauga's YouTube channel, forming a toxic adolescent fanbase known as the Taugang. Tauganactsa is just the Grotling language equivalent of the Taugang portmanteau.

...what exactly would Tauga even put on a youtube channel?

*lens flare intro*
*Microsoft Powerpoint transition*
*three second long blank stare at screen*
*looks at script*
*monotone*
"so uh hey guys and welcome to my minecraft let's play channel"
*twenty-five minutes of boring gameplay that's 60% awkward silence and 40% limp self-narration*
"guess that's all we have time for thanks for watching guys don't forget to like and subscribe"

@Vec Yup, times passes at the rate of 0.236 seconds on Galbar for every 24 hours in Chronos.
I'm just commenting on the fact that the population seems abnormally low. It's probably kept that way through artificial means.

Edit: No, what? Time passes slower in Chronos Stahp confusing me

Edit 2: It's not that time passes slower or faster, it's just that there's MORE time in Chronos.

Edit 3: It's like, an exchange rate. You give 0.236 Galbarian seconds, and in exchange you get 24 Chronosian hours to play with. Best exchange rate ever. Desperately in need of that extra day or two to do your assignment or revise for that exam?- HAVE NO FEAR! CHRONOS IS HERE!

@Vec I just remembered. Vowzra can change Chronos' time relative to Galbar at will, just with his inherent powers. I think Gadar should be able to do that. If you are waiting on the in-game time before waking Ull'Yang, we can easily shift things up to cut-down the wait. You haven't RPed Ull in over a year - at this rate you'll be waiting the whole 44 years for real >.<

He finds a Sculptor and, after a struggle, breaks into the Sculptor system of telepathic communication. Juras' link remains even after he kills the Scultpor.

Guess who can expect an immediate call from a certain peninsula?

I'll catch up in a bit, but expect it to start with 'hello and thank you for giving away your exact coordinates, NOW WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER'

@Antarctic Termite wait, the link automatically gives every Sculptor's exact location to anyone in on the system? Or is it just Jvan that has that?

Edit: either way, this is somewhat in that past, before Jvan's awakening. It'll be a while before she wakes up and kicks his butt

@Kho It only gives a general idea of direction and proximity, but given that Sculptors roam, they can triangulate one another quite easily. Urtelem use this to coordinate their meetings with the fae folk.

Jvan doesn't keep tabs on all Sculpts- she hadn't spoken to Flux in hundreds of years by the time he died- but she's cautious and she'll notice an aberration that isn't masked.

To make chronology work, she's probably been watching Juras without his knowledge until the latest developments with Gadar. Good to keep one's options open.
