Yo. I'd start with introducing my name, but it's already fairly obvious. I chose it because most people see rodents as pests, and I find it strange.

I have been roleplaying since I was about 9/10 ish in various different ways. So far it's been a huge part of my life, the standard social anxiety explanation and how it allows me to get to know people with more depth in a safe setting. I've run about 5 or 6 adventures in total (including the awful first few), with the most at one time being three. That was stressful. I'm new to forum roleplay though, so let's hope the trial period goes well.

I suppose I should contain some non-roleplaying info on me. I am training as a blacksmith for a career, and my hobbies (roughly) are Period Fencing, Parkour, BASS, and obviously roleplaying. The 'i' key on my keyboard isn't functioning properly so if I miss any or double up on them it's because that happened.

@Strange Rodent Well, if you're talking about roleplaying, there is a "system" if you can call it like that.

There's the free roleplay, which is what people use to bent their ideas without really caring if it has depth, or if it's well written, or if it is too much. It's basically a playground for the people who want to play easy and slow.

The casual roleplay is for the people that has a certain amount of experience in roleplaying and want to write something decent.

And there is the advanced roleplay, which is pretty much the real deal in this site. Think of it as the "hard mode" in a game. There's also the arena, the 1x1, persistent world, etc.

@Blackened World I read through that and it was immensely helpful! Though I was talking more about a rules system, ie. Shadowrun, D&D, Pathfinder, etc.

Casual and advanced sound fun, I'll lurk there for a bit :p
