With the Vile God and Evil Goddess sealed by powerful party of Fencers. Zelwinds City turned to Dorfa after the collapse of the Septerion Club. Slowly but surely, they were able to regain the trust of the populace and began to give the entire city an aesthetic and useful upgrade, gaining the attention of two more organizations to set up shop in the progressing city and endorsing a new kind of occupation known as the Magisters.
On the horizon, two growing powers: The Claxis Monarchy and the Tiberial Imperium face off in front of the Freepublic city. One offering to protect them while the other aiming to conquer. Both representatives are in a deadlock and things are escalating every minute.
From the sidelines, another Deity grows in power, arriving the same way the other Deities did. He feeds off the despair and glory of the battle before them. The old party had long since been disbanded, it is up to a new band to pick up where they ended.
(The choices you make in the roleplay are irreversible. Anything your character will say or do will permanently be marked in the story. However large or small the scale may be there are no excuses.)
New Stuff
An empire rapidly growing from the Southwest of Zelwinds' Continent. Kaliradus is the latest city they occupied in and made it as a military base to attack the current area under enemy control. Those who are considered "free" will be offered to join them or meet with military might.
Fang's exploits from so long ago gained their attention years before they annexed Kaliradus. Now they seek to explore it after conquering The Flood Gate which is currently under the control of the Claxis Monarchy using it as a way to push them back.
The Tiberial Imperium relies heavily on brute force and pressurized diplomacy, intimidating other lands with their military might. The supposed Emperor claims this injustice as "total protection from the people against themselves", with several cities gaining new laws that restrict most civilian freedom. While a lot of city-states are dissatisfied with this, the smaller ones don't find it so bad.
The technology they rely on are enhanced technological weapons. One might even say that their technology doesn't even come close to the ones present in this world's era, others say it might have came from the stars. The Emperor never stated anything about it.
They show no interest in just any Fencer, they count on the strongest, the best of the best to help spread their influence. They use Titan's Throne for this ordeal.
An old monarchy that has maintained control over their territories with them expanding slowly so long as the latest city they have conquered remains in good condition. Because of the lack of defenses and the underestimation that no other faction pops up, a quarter of their cities were easily overrun by the Imperium forcing their hand to the defensive and hopefully take the back the cities they have taken without warning.
Zelwinds City is under the protection of the Monarchy despite not being under its banner. Mainly because it is where the legendary Deities fought and created the Furies.
The Monarchy's been around for so long and unlike their aggressive rivals. These people tend to be calm and more passive. They overtax when it's necessary and pay it back when they can. The King behind this relies on a more traditional method in terms of technology. Magic and it's ever-growing research.
Magic has been imbued even in the Imperium's own prototype weaponry such as the pistols and launchers. Other than that they use magic to strengthen each and every one of their troops. Their barriers are stronger than the Imperium's "energy shields" since theirs have variety and willpower to count as mana.
They have a deep interest in Fencers helping them out no matter who or what status they belong to. Relying on the Garden of Eden to help them unlock the Furies' potential.
A neutral republic overseeing the free cities and towns not under the rule of anyone. They have no defining laws and remain with moral laws instead. They are numerous, lots, compared to those from the Imperium and the Monarchy but the Freepublic don't go to war, only self-defense or if they want their cities back.
As of the current era. Zelwinds City is legitimately under their banner. Dorfa is responsible for overseeing what goes in and out of the city.
The Freepublic are a new, neutrally peaceful faction. A variety of towns and cities side with them mainly because of peace. They have a leader that changes every five years. The Dorfa Corporation sees this as an opportunity to bump their sales and spread influence.
Rules
1. Please do not be rude to other people, if you feel the need to let something out. I suggest PMing it amongst yourselves and work out a solution where both of you agree instead of creating flames around the chatroom and dragging people in for no reason.
2. Overpowered characters are somewhat acceptable here. By this I mean, you get to show off your characters' power when the situation calls for it or when the opportunity presents itself to you. Note that I am not accepting completely broken characters with no weakness or drawbacks whatsoever. Everyone must have a weakness.
3. Images and pictures from other anime/manga/game are considered in a sheet. But please do not completely rip off the character from the source where it came from. You can use the image, but make it different in name, personality, and/or background.
4. Force-hitting and Event-controlling are strictly prohibited in this forum. Force-hitting is when your character hits another without giving them a chance to, or causing a Character Kill/Impairment (CK) when the author of the other character does not want to. Event-controlling is making up a plot arc of your own without permission from others and making it seem more important than the plot at hand.
5. There is no limit to how many characters you have. However, it is recommended to make characters you actually use for the rest of the RP so as to not clutter the Characters thread. Characters will be deleted if no one plans to use them.
Post the Character Sheet in the OOC tab first and wait for it to be accepted. Any character accepted in the Discord Server can directly put the sheet in the Character Tab
