The Stranded Thots
Mr. Smith
"Variety is the spice of life, while adventure are the sweets. I need these sweets, man. Gimme that good shit."
"Candyman" by Zedd & Aloe Blacc & Grey
Full Name
John Smith
Alias
Mr. Smith, Sir Smith
Age
Unknown
Species
Human Vampire (Magi Variant)
Gender
Male
Sexuality
Heterosexual
In-Depth Appearance
5'11" - 190 lbs.
Mr. Smith is a rather handsome (but pale) looking man, and while he may appear old, he still has that look of immortal and almost divine handsomeness that would make even other men blush. Gray hair all over, he has the trademark irises of fire vampires possess, and while it may make him look evil (especially with those fangs of his), his demeanor often dispels that quickly. His irises' firey glow corresponds with how much mana he has within him, or how much energy he has in general, and can fade to normal red if he runs low. While most of the time Mr. Smith wears a gray suit and tie, when he is out in the sun, he either wears a wide brimmed hat or carries a large black parasol to protect against the sun. While he does mainly wear his gray suit+tie combo, he often wears some armor or padding underneath to protect against any fatal encounters with wood to his heart. He often uses it to conceal a small pocket dimension in which he uses to retrieve weapons, candy and other random shit.
Abilities
Vampire Abilities
Bat Transformation
Super Strength (Can Lift a Pickup and Flip a Semi)
Night Vision
Mind Control (Requires focus and concentration)
Nigh-Invulnerability (only a wooden weapon through the heart or decapitation can kill him)
Regeneration (comes with nigh-invulnerability, all non-lethal injuries heal during rest)
Magic Resistance (Magi Vampire ability)
Magical Attunement (Magi Vampire ability)
Magical Abilities
Pocket Dimension (in anything he wears, he has a small portal that leads to a small dimension from which he can draw any number of objects he put inside)
Light Telekinesis (uses this to summon objects or stop approaching threats)
Limited Teleportation (disappears in a puff of smoke and reappears at a location he marked beforehand)
Limitations
Salt and Garlic can mess with his senses, and the sun can non-lethally light him on fire and cause him lots of pain. Silver and holy symbols also non-lethally burn him, and can cause some serious damage. Decapitations and wood to the heart are the only ways to do him in, though he often protects the first weakness with appropriate vests. Everything else can deal non-lethal damage to him, and while it doesn't kill him, per se, but it can stun him. He cannot be heard or seen in mirrors or any recording equipment, so he cannot speak to anyone through the radio, but rather text people through the phone or use morse code over the radio. As a vampire, he can feed off of the blood and mana from other beings. While he prefers to feed from humans for both, he can devour flesh and blood from other animals, or consume stored blood of any kind and still get sustenance.
Equipment
Mr. Smith has an entire hammerspace dedicated to what he might need on the job. He often wears a stab-resistant vest to protect himself from fatal encounters, though underneath his suit he can summon an invisible portal that leads to a hammerspace that contains a variety of objects he's stored there for a number of years. They include but are not limited to:
Custom Nighthawk 1911 with a Suppressor (.45 ACP)
Colt Python (.357 Magnum)
A variety of potion syringes
A few spellbooks
Rope, pitons, flashlights, flares, the like
A fuckton of .45 ACP and .357 Magnum ammo
A fuckton of candy
Several different types of explosives
1 working Morse Radio
59 broken Smartphones
36 broken morse radios
Lots of intel, binders, folders and dossiers
A massive briefcase filled with D&D stuff
Enemies he's captured
And much... much more.
Personality
Mr. Smith is a quirky man with a huge sweet tooth, or sweet fangs, so to say. With an unnatural obsession for sweets, and thanks to his vampirism, he could eat as much as he'd like and suffer no ill repurcussions from it. While a very caring man who leans on the good end of the spectrum, he's a man who gets the job done... though in rather strange ways. Not much is known about him, and while he exudes an air of mystery, whether or not its intentional is anyone's guess. Charismatic as hell, he prefers to talk his way out of situations rather than dive head-first into them.
Place Of Origin
He claims to have been from Texas but no one believes him (rumor has it that he's actually from Mexico... pre Mexican-American war Mexico)
Family
Long dead
History
Not much is known about him at all, though he claims to have been in the Alamo (fighting for the Mexicans, though many believe he's joking), and that he's been recorded as someone who fought in WW2 as an American soldier, and later on working in the OSS for the allies. He joined the CIA in the Cold War, and remained there until he was discovered embezzling from the CIA's black funds for years, using said funds to buy himself ungodly amounts of candy. Having taken Liana under his wing (on the grounds that she's a fellow vampire, a competent fighter and that she just got fired for refusing to kill innocents), he decided to go live a life of adventure, and go search for his true love, the Bitterbane.
Extra
He's a vampire with a heart, but it's probably because of all of the candy he's consumed in his long life.

Liana Washington
"You don't need a pulse to have a good heart. Though if you have a heart of evil, I'll make sure you don't have a pulse."
"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande (Honeymoon Remix)
Full Name
Liana Renee Washington
Callsign
Valkyrie
Age
26
Species
Human Vampire (Ash Variant)
Gender
Female
Sexuality
Bisexual (Female-leaning)
In-Depth Appearance
5'7" - 172 lbs.
Liana, while not pale, is a desaturated woman with irises of fire. Like Mr. Smith, her firey eyes cease to glow when there's no mana or any other energy left within her. What makes her stand out is her skeleton hand often referred to as a "skelehand" (which is essentially a magical prosthetic skeleton arm made from her own bones). While said skelehand is sensitive to pressure, it feels no pain, and is quite tough when it comes to throwing punches. As for what she wears, Liana mostly wears black combat trousers, a gray T-shirt, and a black tactical vest carrying lightweight bullet/stab/magic resistant plates that help protect her from most attacks. She wears black combat boots as well, and also wears a black glove on her fleshy right hand in order to protect it (she's only got one after all!).
Abilities
Smoke Transformation
Super Strength (Can Lift a Pickup and Flip a Semi)
Super Speed (Not dedicated, but can run twice as fast as normal human)
Spider-Climbing
Night Vision
Mind Control (Requires focus and concentration)
Clinically Immortal (is immune to diseases, and is immortal through age)
Super Regeneration (can regenerate any wound from mana reserves)
Ash Resurrection (can be 'killed' through sufficient mana depletion or head wounds, and turns into ash for a short period of time before coming back to life)
Retractable Claws
Echolocation
"Game Face" (she bares her teeth and roars, making her a bit like a monster)
Limitations
Salt and garlic, while not lethal, can mess with her senses and give her a headache. Silver burns her, and can slow regeneration. The sun makes her feel a little uncomfortable, but thanks to her melanin levels and her Ash Vampirism, it doesn't cause problems. She's the type of vampire who isn't apt with any extra magical abilities (and thus cannot detect any kind of magic), and is just as susceptible to non-mental magical attacks as anyone else. Holy symbols can defeat her if used properly, and in order to permanently kill her, she must take wood to the heart (which is nearly impossible thanks to her frequent use of the stab-proof vest). She cannot be heard or seen in mirrors/recording equipment, and has to resort to texting/morse code. While she can consume on artificial blood, animal blood and packed/frozen blood, she prefers the blood of humans, particularly women of the consenting variety. She can also eat raw human and animal flesh as well, and while she finds it tasty, the blood that comes with it is what she survives on.
Equipment
Liana can carry whatever is necessary for the job, wearing magical plates on her tactical vest that protects her against common attacks, but most of the time, she carries:
HK G3 Rifle (7.62mm NATO)
Custom Glock 21 Suppressed (.45 ACP)
.45 ACP and 7.62mm NATO Ammo
Flashbang Grenades
Smoke Grenades
Tactical Flashlight
Morse Radio
Brass Knuckles
Kurki Machete
Personality
Liana's a rather casual person, and thanks to her newfound vampire abilities, she can afford to be. While she's casual in regards to herself, she still values the lives of others, and takes them and her particular line of work very seriously. Liana hasn't been around too many people, so she might act casual in the face of authorities as well. She might be quite cold (emotionally and literally) when on the job against enemies, any friend she does make she's absolutely loyal to, especially Mr. Smith. While she loves a good fight as anyone else, she's not the type to kill unnecessarily. She targets her marks and her marks only, and tries to minimize damage to others as much as possible. Due to her vampire tendencies, she tries to keep her feeding to a minimum, or at least feed on consensual individuals/her marks. She will also go out of her way to help others, and has proven time and time again that while she has no room for enemies in her cold still heart, it's because that room is reserved for those she cares about.
Place Of Origin
Was born and raised in New York City, New York.
Family
Had a mother and a brother who both perished from gang violence.
History
Born and raised in New York City, Liana grew up in a rough environment that really screwed up with her mind, as well as her sense of morality. When she was young, she lost her mother and brother to gang violence, as well as many friends she knew and loved as well. In turn, she was desensitized to violence, and enjoyed the idea of killing the bad men and women behind the murder of her loved ones. She grew up to become a killer, though while she retained the memories of the pain she went through when losing her family and friends to gang violence (and the fact that the NYPD were incredibly helpful), she never inflicted such pain upon the innocent or the good, and even helps them if she can (though she might go too far, like murdering an abusive spouse in one instance). Since she was 16, she was a a hitwoman for hire. She went under a strict training regimen, having learned from books and other assassins (that she later killed when she found out that they targeted innocents too). At one point, she was hired by a criminal gang to kill an NYPD police chief and his entire family, to which she responded by eliminating every single armed member of the group, and torturing their boss to death. On one of her jobs, on a hit to take out a cultist, she was captured and drugged, and was unwillingly turned into a vampire by the whole cult through a dark ritual. Not only did it make her a vampire with a variety of powers, but also an even more powerful assassin than she already was (though in the process of the ritual, she lost her left hand and forearm, leaving only a skeleton hand of sorts). Needless to say, none of the cultists survived the ordeal. However, later in her life, she was discovered by the CIA, and worked under the command of Mr. Smith as an assassin who did odd jobs for the agency. However, her refusal to fire upon innocent civilians got her fired from the CIA after doing a stint with them for a year, and after Mr. Smith was discovered embezzling from CIA black funds, she ended up becoming his personal bodyguard for some time, going wherever he went, including this adventure.

While she is a vampire, she's far from an evil person. Though I'm sure y'all know that. <3

Skipper
Captain Farid "Skipper" Hassan
Male, Human, 56 - Ship Captain
Skipper is a man that Mr. Smith met on one of his missions, Mr. Smith having saved Skipper's life by rescuing him from a terrorist cult holding him prisoner in Egypt. Skipper lived his life as a normal fisherman, earning money for his wife and kids for a while before they earned enough to move to the United States. However, while he was a captain of a tugboat in Lake Erie, he was soon contracted by Mr. Smith to operate the Milky Way, a landing vessel/cargo boat that Mr. Smith purchased then. While Skipper wouldn't normally take job offers like that, he owed Mr. Smith a great deal and decided to take on the job (not to mention that the pay was actually pretty good). For at least a year, Skipper has been taking the Milky Way all around the world, seeing new things with his old friend of Mr. Smith, and his new friend of Liana. A rather friendly individual who's the type to sit down and have any conversation with a man, he's one of the few non-combatants that remains of the Milky Way crew. He's normally unarmed.
FC: Fares Fares
Ranger
Constance "Ranger" McDowell
Female, Human, 30 - Communications
Ranger is an Ex-Soldier who was often the Designated Marksman as part of her Army platoon. Like Skipper, she's a normal human without any powers, just a decent amount of shooting skill. Mr. Smith met her in one of his many missions in Iraq when doing joint operations with the Army, and after Ranger was honorably discharged having served a few years in Iraq, she immediately found work as an armed crew member of the Milky Way, serving the role of a communications officer. Thanks to Liana and Mr. Smith not being able to speak through any recording equipment, she's often tasked with assisting them on the communications front. She's one of the more serious people of the group, thanks to her Army background and her being a war veteran. However, she still has quite a bit of humanity in her heart, and is willing to go a little soft for just about anything. She carries the usual amount of tactical gear with a few more antennaes and wires than usual, wearing similar clothes and gear to that of Liana, and carries around a HK53 rifle (5.56mm NATO) with her, carrying a Glock 21 (.45 ACP) as a sidearm.
FC: Murray Gray
Cleric
Clyde "Cleric" Campbell
Male, Human, 21 - Healing Mage
Cleric is a young man who's in over his head, to say the least. Having come from Los Angeles, he grew up under a powerful family of mages who wanted him to be a pyromancer. However, when he wanted to do healing instead, he was disowned by his family. He became a decent healing mage and was just about to finish nursing school, though he was kicked out of school for theft, plagiarism and cheating. While his healing abilities made him good hiring material, him being a dropout for the reasons listed above made him very difficult to hire. He was soon found by Mr. Smith, who brought him along for his adventures to heal up anyone who needed it. While he's a nice and optimistic dude, he's often hiding quirks of his own, and reeks of a much darker mystery hidden beneath that bright smile of his. He carries a knife and a Walther PPK (.380 ACP) with him, but only for self defense. He also carries a wand to help him attune healing magic and misc spells as well, and while he doesn't need it to cast spells, he only uses it to make is casting more accurate.
FC: Matt Lanter
Dragonborn
Amelia "Dragonborn" Wright
Female, Human, 29 - Fighter Pilot
A native of New Zealand, Amelia was a fighter pilot with the A-4 Skyhawk when she became of age. However, after getting decent amount of hours with the Skyhawk, the New Zealand military cut their defense budget, and she had to be discharged from the New Zealand Air Force as part of said defense cuts. She was eventually hired by Mr. Smith to be his personal private jet pilot, and once it came time for adventure, Mr. Smith purchased one of the aging New Zealand fighters, upgraded it with modern avionics, armed it with proper surveillance equipment, and put Amelia back in its cockpit. Amelia was overjoyed, and she became an experienced mercenary pilot in notime, often times escorting Mr. Smith's private jets, as well as scouting out any location before Mr. Smith enters it. Flying her A-4 Skyhawk, her main job is to make sure that she keeps an eye on everyone and everything, and to make sure that nothing too big gets in the way of the adventuring party.
FC: Unnamed Brazilian Pilot
Corsairs
Freelance Corsairs
Male and Female, Humans - Armed Infantry
These are mercenaries that Mr. Smith hired making a stop to Cuba. While they are fluent in the English Language, most of them are ex-Cuban soldiers who left or were discharged for various reasons. A diverse lot, most of them are equipped for the job of protecting the main adventuring party from threats, but that's it. While many are somewhat friendly, there are a few bad apples amongst them that prefer not to speak with 'Americans'. None of them are magic users to any degree, though it is within their contract to allow Mr. Smith or anyone else to 'borrow' their mana or their blood if required (but not to a harmful degree). Most of them are in it for the treasure, as well as the massive paycheck to 'anyone who survives.' They are brave and smart, but to a degree. Most of them are armed with HK33 rifles (5.56mm NATO), with Walther P1s (9mm Parabellum) as their sidearms. They may carry an odd RPG-7 or a Mossberg 500 Tactical (12 Guage). Most of them are equipped with standard military equipment that could help in the excursion.
