So, I read the post and I sent a PM to Mahz per suggestion by a community member, but that was a few months ago. I see now that Mahz is very busy and/or on vacation. Is there any way that I could get my name changed to simply "Valkyrie"? I see that there already is a Valkyrie, but they are listed as "MIA" under 'last seen'. If this can be done, i would greatly appreciate it. If not, then thanks anyways! Either way, thanks for taking the time to look into it.

@The Valkyrie Unfortunately only Mahz can do that sort of change since he has to actually do some database edits. The system wont allow us to change it because usernames are locked to actual user ID numbers, which are invisible to the regular member.

Hypothetically speaking, if we were to reassign their username and try to change yours to the "free" one, it wouldn't work either for that same reason.

At the moment we are seeing if he is able to come back and work on the site, so I do have to ask for you to be patient, but I can understand your frustration.

@NuttsnBolts No worries! I understand completely but thanks anyways for checking. I wasn't sure if I needed Mahz directly or if it was something y'all could do. I'm just happy I only needed to use an article and not some (obviously) random (and totally not of any important to me personally, whatsoever) numbers to make my name unique.
