The two images of Yzeira lowered their hands. The orbs around their waist moved slowly with reversed orbits, until one strayed from each of his bodies. They both walked forward while one of their orbs floated towards Jenso slowly, growing darker in shade until they were pulsating with crimson-black wavelengths.

Jenso glared at the two Yzeira's as they approached. He dashed around the approaching orbs in a wide arc, and launched several white flame balls at the orbs that had moved at him with his left to see how they would respond. He began to build up energy in his right hand as well. 'I need to wait for the right moment...' He thought.

The orbs flickered as they were struck, but did not disperse. Instead, they grew bigger, forming a visible line between one another, and between their host bodies near the chest level. The clone directly in front of Jenso slashed its hand at him, creating a thin wave of energy that traveled at waist level, while sending one of his orbs towards him slowly.

Jenso attempted to duck under the wave of energy, and swiped a low horizontal kick with his left foot at the clone nearby. As he did so, a focused horizontal Ki shockwave was launched at the clone's feet, underneath the orb, in an attempt to knock the clone off-balance. He rolled out of the way of the incoming orb towards the clone's side, to the opposite side of where the line had united the two clones and launched the energy he'd been charging in his right hand behind the two as a flame ball. He spun his hand in a circle motion as it took the shape of a omega saw, and he immediately detonated it to cause it to explode into several smaller omega saws in all directions.

One attack after the other, Jenso's attempts were negated entirely by the barrier that surrounded Yzeira's bodies. The stream of energy aimed for his feet had bent out of shape and wrapped around into a spray if Ki, while his fireballs exploded on contact and spread into smoke. Even his flame saws whiffed on contact, getting shattered one after the other as if they were paper plates striking a stone wall. Yzeira didn't turn to face Jenso, neither of his bodies did. Instead, the two orbs that connected to each other disconnected their streams from the two bodies, and began to join together into one entity near the center of the arena. The other orb that followed Jenso earlier, began to expand where he stood before, until it was roughly 7 feet in diameter. The 5 orbs around Yzeira's clone stopped spinning for a second, and then two disappeared. The clone spun around and slammed his hand into the ground, unleashing a tidal wave of energy that spread out across the roof incredibly fast, roaring with explosive power that threatened to evaporate Jenso is his entirety. It grew taller and wider as it spread forwards.

Yzeira's other body rose a hand and fired a single refined laser, aiming to hit Jenso the moment he moved to dodge the initial wave.

A burst of flames erupted from Jenso's feet immediately to avoid the tidal wave of energy and launch himself above it. He heard a sharp sound, one that he'd heard before in Feraldia when Yzeira launched a laser at him. He spun around side-ways in mid-air to avoid the laser, but it still cut straight through his left side as blood erupted from it. "Hngh...!" He blurted out in pain as he felt the burning sensation, gritting his teeth. 'Looks like he can summon a certain amount of energy from his body, which are the spheres...which he can also channel directly into either himself or his clone. And the amount of spheres he uses determines the power, huh?' Jenso thought, looking down at his foe. 'Still, I'll need to wait until that shield of his weakens if I want to try anything...'

He launched several flame balls below him with his right, which united into a flame stream on the ground which moved further to the right as Jenso came down, while making sure that he wouldn't land near the expanding sphere and the centered sphere further ahead.

He launched two Ki spears at the sphere in the center with his left to follow up, hoping to disrupt it's make-up. He kept a close eye on the battlefield, preparing to use the white stream of flames for his aid if he needed to move quickly.

Yzeira's main body flicked its hand towards the ground. Suddenly, one of his spheres dropped down quickly, and spread across the entirety of the roof in all directions. Jenso's flames would be smothered, as if Jenso didn't dodge, he would likely be harmed as well. The issue that persisted however, was that the ground would remain covered in a constant pool of his crimson energy, from one edge of the roof to the other.

Jenso's spears, much like his earlier attacks, did little to disrupt the combining spheres. They shrank slightly as they gobbled up his attack, but then continued to grow, converting his Ki into even more power as the orb rose higher into the sky. The rain curved around and straight into the sphere, like it had its own gravity, while the giant orb behind Yzeira's clone finally stopped growing. However, its size suddenly shrunk, and it split into eight tiny orbs that stood in place. Each one then flew further from each other, and created a transparent red aura around themselves, where streams of red electricity crackled erratically within its scope, contained much like giant plasma globes. They spread out around the edge of the arena where Jenso first stood, slowly lining up across one edge of the roof in a paralleled fashion.

"Try not to fall."

Jenso glared down at Yzeira as he noticed what the rising sphere was doing to the rain. 'A black hole..?' He thought. A burst of flames erupted from his feet again, to launch himself further away from the sphere in the center, and high enough to stay out of reach of the pool of crimson energy towards another edge of the roof to a corner. He launched another Ki spear, fused with Bruce's Ki this time, at one of the tiny eight orbs in the corner closest to Jenso. He began to rapidly channel Ki around his body as well. He said nothing to Yzeira's remark, despite this intense situation. He needed to focus on surviving now, not on defeating Yzeira yet.

Jenso's spear pierced and destroyed the orb, but the other 7 rapidly moved towards him straight afterwards, moving in erratic patterns as they moved through the sky. The orb in the middle of the arena began to pull heavier as well. Jenso could feel it as he moved too far away from the ground, that gravity was beginning to pull him into it ever so slightly.

The two clones took a moment to restore their orb surplus while Jenso was left to fend for himself against the various attacks, and the floor did not show any sign of changing any time soon.

Jenso frowned, as the Ki he'd been channeling around his body focused around his feet in a small, powerful repeated cycle of Ki shockwaves to try to keep the crimson energy away as he landed on the ground, and to stay out of reach of the pull. It was a risk to touch the ground, but being pulled in by the orb in the center would most certainly kill him. He took a boxer's stance immediately upon landing, and coated his fists in a layer of Arki. He punched at any of the orbs that came close with rocket punches, one after the other, constantly switching between his left and right fist. He kept a close eye on their movements, punching only at those that got really close with a great deal of focus. If he were to aimlessly punch at them in a rapid flurry, he'd certainly miss and get hit.

Thrust his fists into the immediate vicinity of the orbs, the opaque energy field that surrounded them, prompted them to explode before his fists could reach them. One burst after another struck Jenso, launching him back, and then up into the air. The series of explosions ended shortly after they began, but Yzeira did not follow up immediately. Despite being a single series of attacks, Jenso could feel his Ki being drained rapidly by the strange energy that composed them, almost as it was directly eating away at his soul.

"That did not last nearly as long as I thought it would," Yzeira sighed.

Jenso felt the energy leave his body, and grit his teeth in pain. He aimed his feet skyward as he was flung in the air, as another rocket burst launched him straight down towards the ground again to stay out of range of the gravity sphere above him. He launched another Ki spear infused with both his and Bruce's Ki at one of the clones, and attempted to land safely with another shockwave that erupted from his feet to keep the red energy on the ground away from him. He fell on one knee afterwards, panting heavily. "I ain't...done yet..." He muttered, building up more Ki around his hands as the wound at his side continued to bleed.

"Far be it from me to deny the wish of a dead man."

The barrier around the clone did not falter. As soon as Jenso's spear struck it, the Ki shattered like glass, and turned crimson. Yzeira's bodies both rose one hand and aimed at Jenso where he stood. Two spheres from each clone disappeared into their bodies, and their hands began to glow.

"Encasement"

The air around Jenso changed in hue until all he could see was red. A globe of weak energy surrounded him, growing to roughly 20 yards in diameter and getting thicker with each passing second. The ground around Jenso's feet continued to encroach on him, but the edges of the arena were getting clearer as it shrank towards his feet.

Jenso smirked briefly at Yzeira before his face went back to being dead serious. "Hearing you talk...is more painful than dying..." Jenso taunted, as he attempted to dash towards one of the edges of the arena in the blink of an eye to avoid the globe as flames erupted from his heels. 'Flame dash..!' He thought, and unleashed a flurry of Bruce/Jenso infused Ki spears at the two clones and the orbs that surrounded them with both hands.

Some of the spears seemed to be aimed to fly past the clones and their orbs. He felt like he was reaching his limit, but he tried to hold on. 'Can't...go down yet..!' He thought. He attempted to keep buying time until Yzeira's shield would weaken by making him think that he was actually trying to harm him, but things didn't look good at this rate.

As Jenso left the globe, it suddenly shrank down to the size of a baseball, and absorbed the film of energy that covered the ground. Afterwards, it flew towards Jenso, and exploded mid-travel, releasing a wide-range blast that covered nearly 25% of the tower's radius. The spears that Jenso threw were either destroyed by this initial blast, or shattered on contact with Yzeira's barrier. One of his bodies replenished their spheres again, while his other took aim at Jenso, regardless of whether or not he dodged the blast, and released an electrical current that danced across the air and spread to cover his escape routes as it encroached on him. As he channeled it, one of his spheres slowly began to shrink into his body.

Jenso dashed towards the left, devoting himself fully to avoid the first blast, while gathering Ki in his hands. He launched more Bruce/Ki infused spears at the incoming electrical current that came after. These ones were set to explode into Ki explosions the moment they touched the electrical current, or got close to it, about a good distance away from Jenso. Jenso launched them rapidly, one after the other, but he didn't launch them haphazardly. He did it in a focused manner, still dashing around the roof and not standing still for a moment. He waited for the duration of the electricity technique to end and for the sphere to sink completely into the clone's body while still throwing spears.

The current was dispersed by the rapid series of Ki blasts, curving around Jenso and off the edge of the tower as he ran around. However, it didn't take long before he reached one of Yzeira's bodies. The body that was channeling the technique near one edge of the tower.

It ended before he reached him, but with a flick of his wrist, the situation took another turn for the worse.

"Where are you looking?" Yzeira taunted. From behind Jenso, along nearly a quarter of the tower's edge, several hundred miniature orbs of scarlet plasma situated themselves silently. Another slight motion of his fingers, and Yzeira's lightning all began to home in on Jenso from behind, picking up speed as they neared him. The other clone watched carefully, taking several spheres into its body, quietly.

Jenso smirked for a moment, despite Yzeira's words to mock him. He was actually enjoying this fight somewhat, despite how much was at stake. He noticed that Yzeira was flicking his wrist, but none of the orbs near his body were doing anything. Which meant that something had to be going on behind him. Was it the clone? He spun his body 90 degrees to the left and jumped further back to stay out of reach of the orbs of the clone nearby him while being able to see what had been going on behind him.

He saw the incoming lightning orbs, and the gravity orb that still remained above him and sighed out of exhaustion. He aimed to quickly dash around the clone nearby in a wide circle to stay out of reach of the lightning orbs. He was about to reach his limit, and it didn't look like things would improve any time soon.

To make matters worse, the Ki supply within Bruce's instrument was starting to run out. 'Darn it...this guy's just leading me around by the nose...' Jenso thought, clearly struggling as his wound was still bleeding. His vision was slowly starting to blur, but he refused to go down.

He stomped briefly, a safe distance away behind Yzeira's clone with his left foot as he moved around him, leaving a patch of Arki behind on the ground. He dashed further away from it, and waited for the lightning orbs to be mostly grouped up in one spot as they chased him, and launched one focused Ki spear with more combined Ki in the middle of them before they could unite. It exploded into a huge Ki explosion, intended to disperse them all. He flicked his wrist with his right, and a white flame whip erupted from the ground, which aimed to wrap around Jenso's waist and pull him further towards the right, to the patch he'd left behind, further away from the explosion and the orbs chasing him. He prepared to disperse the whip early if needed.

The orbs of lightning combined at the point where the Ki explosion took place, but as the light erupted, it slowly took on a red hue. After the explosive event, nothing remained of the electrical orbs. As Jenso pulled himself through the air though, the body that refrained from attacking had finally taken in all of his spheres.



The air went thick, but the rain didn't slow down or grow heavier. Jenso's flame whip, as well as the arki his placed on the ground, both disappeared in an instant. Even worse, it was like the Ki in his body was sealed off completely. His glowing form vanished, and he plummeted to the ground without any power to readjust his direction. Yzeira's body stepped aside as he flew towards it, letting him stumble across the roof towards one edge. The two bodies began walking towards the center of the roof, slowly refreshing their orb supply.

"I was hoping this would end differently. But despite your unique properties, you appear to be no different than every other specimen that you've followed." Yzeira grunted, beside himself with utter disappointment, both figuratively and literally. "I can do this, just like Nexus. Only, much more effectively." He rose one hand and it emitted a dull red glow. "Without losing power."
