Right now, I am waiting on Cyclone for my next post. But you don't need to rush to much since I am still thinking of what to use my last two might on. I have some ideas, but it might be to early for a lot of them. Like I plan on creating agriculture, put we don't really even have proto-civilization yet.

Expect something from me within 3 or 4 hours.

Regarding advances like agriculture, I for one would rather we pace things slower. Maybe flesh out some of the vast swathes of empty land on the map, or make your own sapient species and put them somewhere.

Agriculture is a huge leap considering there aren't even such things as speech, society, etc. and we more or less just have groups of proverbial cavemen. I think we need to teach concepts like tribalism, family, and maybe caste. Then develop hunter-gather societies, then maybe nomadic pastoralists with domestication, and then maybe agriculture can pop up in a turn or two from now.

All of the above could probably happen by turn 3.

Would something like Polytheism be considered 'advanced' for the state of this world currently? My plan was to teach Elizer that everything in the world is governed by or as a result of the Gods.

Yeah, I think we would need settlements before we have agriculture. And I don't think I will have Regulus create a sentient species. He might create a legendary beast/s that are sentient, or later become sentient. At least for the time being.

Right now, he is probably going to take what humans there are right now and organize some of them into an Order of Druids. If not this turn, next turn.

I am thinking about having him create a rolling plains for humans to settle on, but that isn't going to be important until we start settlements. So I may save that last point of might, or use it to buff my druids.

I feel like a setting with such obvious existence of god would make polytheism the default unless a species is kept very sheltered and isn't interacted with at all by any of the gods other than its creator. Some sort of monotheism or henotheism (where one god is favored over others) would probably be "advancements" that would result due to the influence of gods or heroes.

Fair enough. If you focus on humans I'll give some attention to the rest.

@Frettzo Not yet, but soon. I'll crank out a Lei post addressing one or two more loose ends and then we can have a proper End of Turn 0.

You have plenty of time.

I was however hoping that they could perhaps integrate or learn off of other cultures or species - for example learning of bowyery and archery or perhaps farming could be learned from others when they develop or on a simpler term centaurs could join other civilisations or orders rather than create their own.

If you don't mind a Hero playing this role, I'll be introducing Yuu soon, and he's a marksman and weaponsmith by trade. He could have a role in teaching the centaurs to hunt and nock.

ed: one thing done, now I just need to greet Faliir, mess with a golem, save Yuu's ass from some interdimensional strife, and then we can wrap up the turn.

Eventually, I am going to remember it is hider and not spoiler.

And if you are wondering why I didn't make the druid order yet, well I guess realized that there is not enough people on the planet to make an order yet without creating more people.

@Leotamer Since you spent four Miracles at once creating those species, you can take them as a bundle and consider yourself having spent 1 Might to create rodents, lagomorphs, canines and felines, if you want. That way you can include stuff like jackals, foxes, hyenas, tigers, porcupines, beavers, capybaras, squirrels, etc. etc. for free (provided there's living space for them).

I'm going to make Yuu a character and then we're clear to end the turn when you guys are all ready (and I have time).

It might be easier to keep up with if we consider the creation of 4 miracles to be one might. And thus, you get your act of creation when you break it down into miracles, as opposed to keeping up with fractions.

@Leotamer in that case you'd be adding to your creation tally without necessarily creating anything, which defeats the purpose. I don't think adding together quarters is too much to ask.

Well, I am ready to end the turn. I thought about your offer, and decided that right now, he isn't going to go out of his way to populate the world with animals that aren't particularly tameable, though he might in the future. (Hunting)

It is just the rest of what I want to do requires at least proto-civilization, so I will save that last might for next turn.
