"What do you mean? I think I got the looks of the professional agent shtick on point." Caz said to Griffin, twirling his trenchcoat as if it was a dress, teasing the Vampire a bit. geez, why is this guy so uptight?

"But in all seriousness, judging by the mess this creature made, I say its execution is kinda sloppy, It has the perfect kill spot and yet it just chooses to bruise its victim, an unfinished business if you ask me." Caz scoffs, taking a glimpse at the injured victim.

"I say whoever is responsible for this is highly aggressive and this schmuck here seems to provoke it. ofcourse, that's just my input" Caz said to the two.

"Did you talk to the victim? can he describe what the suspect looks like?" Caz asked the two.

"Understood, Griffin." Richard nods to his fellow agent before approaching the trail of unknown liquid. He crouches down to touch the black gel like liquid and to gain a small amount of it on his index finger. The liquid had reacted to Richard almost instantaneously and was quickly being purified simply by touch, evaporating into nothingness. He did not need any further inspections to know what kind of entity the creature was.

Richard quickly gets up from his crouching position and reports to Griffin his findings. "Griffin. I think the creature that we are looking for is demonic or at the very least malevolent in nature." To prove his point he quickly swipes some of the black liquid and presents it to the other agent only for it to evaporate into nothingness in front of Griffin's eyes. "Did you see the reaction? Only demonic or malevolent things react this way when I touch them but nothing this quick. I've dealt with my fair share of minor demons and malevolent entities, but this thing is different. We need to locate it soon." Richard was panicking slightly. Whatever this entity was, it was stronger than anything he had faced before.

"Hmm, I see you have the affinity for holy magic there kid," Caz said as his eyes widely open when he saw the black substance evaporate right in front of him. "Just keep your hands to yourself since I'm not a fan of that particular type of magic either" Caz winced, waving his hand to Richard.

"As for the case, this demon can't be too far from here and probably traveling on foot since I don't see anything strange when I flew above the city when I first arrive here," Caz said scratching his chin.

"Now that you mention it I did saw some of that same ink substance splattered on a car from an accident not far from here. its hood is all dented up and everything. Judging by the evidence, I say this demon panicked and ran on the open streets, makes sense since there are only two exits in this narrow alleyway and the demon makes its escape over in that direction where the car crash happen" Caz said pointing into the streets. "The way i see it, we're dealing with a malevolent yet clumsy ink-like demon who doesn't know its own strength" Caz scoffs, shaking his head at the mess this creature has made.

The... figure that had been at the situation regarding the students at the school within the city had disappeared to help with researching but had... found nothing. He'd had gotten a call about the next situation, whilst he had been sitting at a computer in his quarters deep underground at the headquarters, having been just... reading through a large variety of pamphlets about recent breakthroughs in electrical theory, which he had written down in a notebook and tried to keep to memory. He had made note of the message and had quickly piled up what he could into his daypack, or backpack.

Sometime later he would be seen getting out of a taxi on that end of the city, looking about for a moment with a... device he had out in his hand, before pocketing it as someone passed. He kept his hood from his pullover on and began hiking over to the two, it'd be noted that the figure was rather short and lean, and mostly if not all covered in clothing. He'd appear to be wearing a set of sunglasses as he would walk up to the two, the... alien nodding off to them as a low sigh escaped his mouth, speaking in a light tone as he spoke as well, "Hello uh... you all are part of this... investigation I got from a message?"

"So we have either a clutzy or stupid malevolent ink or shadow demon. It's good to know that it will react to your magic Richard. But there is also a chance it will feel you coming so I want you stay back a bit." Griffin told them thoughtful. He agreed it was a demon. The tar like texture of the trail told him that much. He was sure it was a low ranking one which meant it shouldn't be hard to contain once they found it.

He growled when yet another person showed up how many people did they need to find one level demon who left an obvious trail? Did the agency think he was that incompetent? He thought he had proven himself more than that. "Yes we are responding to the situation here. Take a look at the trail and see if you can add anything to what we know. Trench coat you lead Richard will follow you. I will make sure hoodie doesn't get lost.we won't be far behind. Don't approach the subject without us."

He didn't like dividing them but they didn't all need to stand around. It was better to follow the trail while it was fresh. There was no telling how long it will last. He frowned at the thought. Maybe he should have Richard start the clean up. It wasn't really fair but the man's magic would get rid of the trail, which needed to be done.

"Eh, sounds like a plan. I love a good demon hunt, I'll show you where the car crash happened, Just try to keep up..." Caz said making a 'come here' gesture, swinging the drape of his coat as he turns around not waiting for Richard to follow.

Just before he went out into the open city, Caz looks from left to right making sure no one is watching. With the twist of his cape, he transforms into his spectral raven form and flew over the totaled car's hood, standing on top of it, inspecting its interior. He found the same substance splattered on the hood and noticed the trails are still fresh.

"I told you, Felicia, I'm running a bit late, seems I got into little road accident. Some scary looking guy covered black paint suddenly ran into the streets and hit my car, and now I'm getting tolled, I don't know if my insurance will pay for this. No, I'm telling you the truth" Caz overheard the owner of the car, pacing back and forth, a bit distress, talking to his wife on the phone about what happened.

The spectral bird flew a few meters and perch on top of a policeman's shoulder while maintaining his transparency. Most of the officers felt a sudden unsettling chill in their surroundings and pay no attention to it and reviewed the gathered evidence from the car accident. Caz takes a peak as well while the officer checks on the dashcam recovered earlier from the incident.

Yup, there's our guy alright. Hmm, better phone in the boys back at the Bureau for clean up and get the big neuralyzer ready for this huge mess.He sighed. Caz spread his wings and soar above the city to get a better bird's eye view. He saw the ink trail leading to a sewer gate.

He immediately went back to Richard to report on what he scouted, cautiously reverting into his human shape, appearing in front of the combat medic's eyes.

"Okay, I have some good news and some more bad news. The good news is, the demon trail is still fresh and this creature is probably limping right now from the incident. Judging from the evidence I spied on, believe it or not, this creature is somehow part-human probably its host" Caz sighed before continuing. "The bad news is, the perpetrator has gone underground, the trail leads into a sewer gate a few blocks from here. I say this demon most dangerous when its in the dark place like that."

Richard complies with Griffin's directive and tries his best to catch up to Caz but only up to the point where he had transformed into a spectral raven and goes around the scene. Richard pauses and stays in place as he observes the raven flying about. 'Caz is most likely checking for clues and whereabouts of the entity they are supposed to be tracking.' He thinks to himself while trying to keep visual contact with the raven. It does not take long before Caz to return and transform back into the humanoid shape Richard is more accustomed to before reporting his findings to him.

Richard thinks for a moment before speaking. "Okay...if we are going down to the sewers to face this entity, and your theory regarding it's relationship to the darkness is correct. I will need to prepare something strong to counter it." He then reaches into one of his pouches and pulls out 3 vials of clear water. Making sure only he and Caz were able to see the vials, Richard closes his eyes in concentration and mutters a silent prayer. As soon as the prayer finishes, the three vials glow very faintly when a small gold colored orb of light appears to float at the center of each vial. "I wasn't expecting to use these on my first day, but if push comes to shove. I assure you, Caz. You do not want to be in five meters of this when I throw it." He warns his current partner offhandedly while scanning the area to check if it were still deprived of curious eyes before returning the vials to his pouch. Richard faces him once again. "I guess I'm ready. Are you ready?"

"Heh, I understand. I found this suggestion both ironic and convenient at the same time." Caz scoffs at the idea. "I never thought I would be pair up with an exorcist like Agent on this mission. Anyway, Thanks for the heads up. We wraiths share the same dislike against blessed properties as much as an average demon would." Caz said, scratching his chin while looking at the holy water inside the flask.

"Now, Let's make haste and track this demon down," Caz said, adjusting his fedora with a grin on his face. Not waiting for the group to reply, He twists his cape and in a blink of an eye, Caz vanishes into his ethereal form and make his unnecessary dramatic exit. A piece of paper drops where Caz used to stand with instructions there to where the sewer gate is.

((Just assumed Caz is waiting at the sewer gate to get things moving))

As Caz gets closer to the sewer gate he will begin hearing growling and hissing almost animalistic in their nature and sound. The black ink like gel is leaking from the gate only it's moving all around the gate only breaking around the bars making it look like veins stopping a short distance away from the sewer.

Caz raised a brow after hearing the horrific grunts and seeing the black ink substance slithers down the sewer. It moved? I guess I'm closer to this the demon than I thought. Caz said to himself. He flaps his cape and cautiously approaches the entrance of the demon's lair. Ugh, where are they? I guess I have to stall this guy until they arrive here. Also, it's best not to agitate this beast while I'm at it. He sighed.

"Love what you did with the place, would you mind coming out and speak to me for a moment? I'm from the BoSa and I like to ask a few questions regarding some unfortunate events. It seems you're not familiar with the standard supernatural laws in the mortal realm and violated a few." Caz said with a bit of professionalism in his tone, trying to get a friendlier approach, unfazed by the tentacle ink-like vines crawling out of the sewers.

A shadow shot across the sewer as two white dots could be seen peaking around the corner watching caz. As he gets closer the black substance began to build up in front of Caz's feet trying to keep him away. The closer he got the harder it would be to walk through the stuff.

Caz quickly turns his head the moment he felt something moved in the background. He cautiously watches his steps, trying to find the source of this tar-like substance might be. He felt the ink is creeping down his feet from every step he made. With a snap of his fingers, A cold ominous wind passes through the sewers as Caz releases a frigid aura beneath his feet, freezing up the tar in its place preventing it from further consuming his legs.

"Sir, intentionally assaulting a BoSa agent would lead to federal offense, I suggest you come out quietly with hands behind your back" Caz warned the hiding shadow demon.

"S-stop don't come closer." shadow said stuttering as what wasn't frozen shot up a few feet in front of him making a solid wall. Shadow turned and started to half limb half run farther into the sewers on all fours his claws digging into the concrete and making deep gashes as he still left a trail.

It took Richard a considerable amount of time to understand the instructions left behind by his wraith companion, mainly due to the paper falling into a nearby puddle when he had failed to grasp it in time and smudging the instructions considerably. The sounds of animalistic and almost feral sounds and the sudden coldness assures the man that he had followed the instructions correctly.

"You shouldn't go off ahead by yourself, its dange-" Richard fails to finish his sentence as he turns the corner and sees the solid wall of black substance as well as some of the black substance that had gone onto Caz's legs."Caz, are you alright? Did the suspect do this to you?" Richard asks concerned for his current partner.

"Yeah, It's the demon alright. I'm fine just got into a little scuffle, this stuff sure is sticky" Caz forcibly yanked his legs out of the tar, freeing himself from the ink.

"Base on the information from my first encounter, this Creature doesn't want to be approached and seems to be injured from the way it act. I try the good cop approach and didn't work, It just kept resisting and grow even furious." He said to Richard with a deep sigh.

"The further we go in the sewer, I suspect the further it grows stronger, based on the dim environment." He said, slightly touching the Tar wall with his index finger."We might use that holy flask of yours if this keeps up." Caz sighed once again."Say, where are the others?"

Richard lets out a sigh of relief as it seems that his current partner had not been harmed by the demon. "Its never a good thing if the suspect resists arrest, even more so in our line of work... " Richard tells Caz as he walks closer to both the wraith and the wall of tar like substance. "Well, just be glad that it didn't do anything further than trying to immobilize you. God knows I can't fix you, being a wraith and all." Richard says before also touching the wall. It reacts the same as earlier and is purified by mere touch but at a slower rate due to the sheer amount present. "I agree to using the flasks but only if things do get that serious. The suspect ran instead of confronting you and maybe we can still convince it to stand down. As for Griffin, he is still talking to the other agent that arrived back at the scene. "

Griffin followed the other two agents after double checking to make sure no one saw or remembered anything unusual. Things weren't going well. This assignment was rocky at best. He saw the clean up crew arrive vefore he headed after the other agents. He frowned when he heard them talking about an encounter with the demon. Apparently that hadn't gone well. Not that he was surprised. These two didn't seem to know that much.

"Congratulations you two have now alerted the perp that we are looking for him. Now he is prepared for us. Hopefully he won't go into hiding. As long as he is leaving a trail we can follow him. But I doubt thst trail will last all night so lets see if we can find this guy and find out what the hell happened. Please tell me that you learned something useful." Griffin growled at them.

Caz slides his hat on and hides his face the moment he saw Griffin come in the scene, He knew he's gonna get scolded for his little mishap and is not gonna hear the end of it. I wish the demon killed me rather than to endure this. He thought to himself and releases a disgruntled sighed.

"Look, my bad for going out alone. but hear me out..The suspect is maimed so he wouldn't get too far in the sewers and I doubt he knows I have backup so we still have the upper hand." He said crossing his arms.

"I might revealed my freezing powers to him in our little scuffle but he doesn't know what you guys can do, we still have a chance and have the element of surprise" Caz said gesturing a thumbs up. "As for new information, Well the suspect is covered in tar, doesn't want to be approach and is the same size as I am" He reported to Griffin."Also, watch out for the insane tar it secretes from its body, this stuff like super fly paper, once you get caught its nearly impossible to get out"

"I...I apologize." Richard says to Griffin, rather embarrassed that mistakes and mishaps just keep on piling on today...but Richard cannot afford to dwell on it as there is a demon on the loose. Maybe he can still turn this situation around? He concentrates on the wall of tar like slime and begins to utter a prayer before placing his palm upon the wall. The wall is quickly purified and evaporates into nothingness, finally allowing us access to the sewer gate. "...but rather than we stay here and point fingers, I suggest we give chase and attempt to cover lost ground before the suspect gets too far or worse, recovers and escapes." Richard turns to attempt to open the sewer gate but is stopped when it seems to be rusted shut and refuses to open. "...I think the door is jammed shut."

The sewers, where everything nasty smelly and disease ridden runs free along with a flow of contaminated water...What a horrible site...There are better ways to filter and get rid of this waste instead of wasting water.Thought Amaya forming from the water pulling a stick from her hair tossing it aside "Truly Disgusting...how that would tick off the purest waters if it ever touched."She said more to herself looking at the water grate. She listened to the slightly muffled voice speaking of the gate being stuck "let me.." She said to herself holding her hand towards the water before she lifted her hand up as the water flowed obediently "I hope I don't blow it up.."She wished putting some force behind the swing as the beam of water followed. Amaya balled up her fist on the swing up as the front of the water turned to ice Slamming into the sewer grate, not fully hitting it off the hinges but just enough to Ajar it. She moved the rest of the water back into the stream "Thankyou.." She whispered to the nasty water before she leaned on one hip resting her hand on it "Are you ladies going to just stand there or what?" She asked "I prefer not to smell this for very long please."She added.
