𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚:
Vivienne - or rather, Ivy as she is more commonly referred as by her family and friends always had a knack for studying and learning about different things. She enjoyed throuhgly expanding her knowledge on different fields - especially pokémon and pokémon research. From the young age of six, her parents were really considering that their daughter could become a pokémon research, with her own lab and all - but she made clear from the very beginning that what she was more interested in, was becoming a trainer. Studying however, always made Ivy question a lot about things and not in the usual know-how way. She really gave things thought, always considering a lot of what ifs for example; she, even when young, was contemplative and thoughtful. This never took her out of her focus, though, as she was always slowly moving towards her goal of becoming a trainer. Otherwise, she's a very relaxed person - easy to get along with. She enjoys making new friends and is very eager about everything new to her - adventure, people, pokemon. If it's new, she'll likely enjoy it throughly.

𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅:
Ivy's mother was a botanist - something that sparked her curiosity and interest in studying early on. She'd often read about herbs and plants and even help her mother when she could. Occasionally, their home was visited by young trainers with grass type pokémon that had been hurt badly in battle, to help them heal which made Vivienne very interested in pokémon as well - she spent more time inside reading and studying than outside playing with other kids of her age. Her father worked as a mechanic, fixing trucks and other vehicles, he could make enough money to give his family a relatively comfortable life and occasionally a kind trainer would leave gifts to Ivy's mother after she helped their pokémon recover.

The family often made short trips to the nearby town to buy supplies and other necessities, since they lived in a very small town. Ivy's father always promised her that one day they would live in a house as large as the ones in there where they could have as many pokémon as Ivy wanted - and she always answered that she only needed six to become a champion. In her thirteen birthday, her father got home from work with a Herdier. The pokémon had been found next to the road - it seemed in bad shape, as if it had lost against a wild pokémon or something like that. Ivy and her mother did the best they could to keep the pokémon stable before they quickly took the trip to the town's pokémon center.

As they arrived there, a boy was crying while sitting on the couch, his hat resting under his elbow pressing against his knee. He seemed extremely tense - lost in his own problems while Ivy and her family rushed through the pokémon center with the Herdier in their arms. The boy saw the commotion and immediately walked over to them, exclaiming that the Herdier was his and he thought he had lost him forever. The boy told them his story: A group of wild spearows attacked him and everything was alright, he fought them back with his Herdier - then a Fearow attacked him and he tried to call his companion back to his pokéball, but the brave pokémon kept dodging and trying to fight the Fearow back, only for the large bird pokémon to grab the smaller normal type and take off with him, making the boy desperate. Ivy asked if he didn't search for him and the boy said he did for hours and that he came to the pokémon center to ask for help - finally, he thanked Ivy and her family for finding and taking care of him, then gave Ivy a gift: A headphones and a simple music player.

Years passed since that and Ivy still keeps her headphone close and has ever since became quite addicted to music. She was far more resolute about becoming a trainer and taking off in a - hopefully - epic adventure. Her family wasn't entirely content with it, but they couldn't stop her at all - they knew how fierce and determined she could be once she had her mind set on something. It was then that she finally bid her family goodbye and set off on her own.

Ivy wants to discover more about the world and pokémon in a practical way. She had enough theory.
