Thanos addressed the one woman in the entire universe he was interested in, Death. "I have been rejected for being beneath you, and because you thought I was above you, so I shall become your equal, and give up the Gauntlet." He snapped his fingers and a Black Ring appeared in front of him. He reached out and grabbed it. "With this ring I shall become the agent of death, your equal in almost every way." He placed it on his finger and immediately became aware of other rings similar to his own. "Interesting. It seems that more than just this ring came through. No matter. I can send them back just as easily as I brought them here. He raised his now-ringed hand and snapped his fingers, and Lady Death watched as he disappeared as well.

Thanos found himself floating in space, unsure where he was. This is troubling, he thought, before raising his hand and snapping his fingers once more to fix this. But nothing happened. He needed to figure out a way home, and the place where he sensed most of the other rings seemed the best place to start.

"Ring." he said, addressing the only item he possessed that still had power. "Take me to Earth." With that he began to accelerate to far beyond the speed of light, and he knew that he would soon be there.

Zebediah Killgrave found himself in an alleyway, unsure how he got there. One minute a Yellow Ring had appeared before him to tell him he was worthy, and putting it on, and the next he was standing somewhere else. He stepped out onto the street and saw a man selling a newspaper called the Gotham Gazette. Well, at least he knew where he was now, though he'd never heard of a city called Gotham.

He walked across the street to a coffee shop and ordered a cup. "That will be $3.57." the barista said.

"It's free." he said, using his power.

She nodded and handed it to him, and he sat down at a nearby table. Why did this Ring bring me here? he wondered, twirling the ring on his finger. Is it sending me on some kind of mission? A Job?

A woman in a wheelchair saw him and a look of shock filled her face. "Sinestro Corp." she said, before starting to spin her chair around.

He noticed, however, and ordered her to come over to him. "You know about this ring?" he asked. "Tell me what you know."

"It marks you as a member of the Sinestro Corp." she said, unable to stop herself. "The Corp is named for the alien that leads it, named Sinestro. The ring lets you create hard light constructs by harnessing the emotion of Fear. Generally, it's used for energy blasts, a skin-tight protective force field and flight. Would you like more details?"

Fear, huh? It made sense that it chose him if that was it's power source. All he had to do was be himself to keep it charged. "No, that's ok. Tell me your name."

"Barbara Gordan." she responded. "I take it you're a Metahuman with mind-control powers?"

Killgrave smiled. "Metahuman? Well, it sounds better than 'mutant'. Yes, I'm a metahuman. You can call me 'The Purple Man'." She squeezed the arm of her chair in fear, but he ignored it. "I'll need a place to stay for now. I'm going to live with you. Take me to your place."

She tried to resist, but her arm seemed to act in spite of her resistance, turning her around and rolling forward. "You know, you won't get away with this."

"I've heard that before. And call me Master."

"Yes, 'Master'" she answered sarcastically, unable to do more than snark at him.

A few minutes later she let him into her apartment. She pushed the button on the remote near the door to turn on the lights, but they didn't respond. "Forget to pay the power bill?" he asked, not noticing the silhouette of a man coming through a nearby doorway.

"So, I take it Sinestro sent you here?" the shadow-cloaked man asked.

"Oh, no. I don't know why I'm here." Killgrave answered. "Tell me who you are."

"I'm Batman." the man said, springing into action. Within a few seconds Killgrave found himself tied up in two bolas, one around his legs and one around his waist, holding his arms to his sides. A second later a bat-shaped shuriken-like weapon stuck into the wall beside him and exploded, the bright light and loud explosion blinding and deafening him temporarily. When he recovered he looked at his new slave's chair only to realize that it was empty. "How did she call for help?" He remembered her squeezing the arm of the chair and flipped it on its side, now noticing a button that was there. "Silent alarm? Damn it." he said.

Well, at least he had her computer, which he now saw in an open room across the living room. If she had Hero connections, surely it had info on those heroes. He went over to it and booted it up. If he couldn't access it he'd go out and find a slave to access it for him, but for now he wanted to try to access it on his own.

The rider was praying on criminals as he pins a criminal to the wall and said in a demonic voice," Look into my eyes, and see all the people you made suffer." He was doing the penance stare. The criminal burned up into flames and turned into ashes and the rider let go. Walking back to the car a ring came down to him telling him he has rage and he's wortht of the red ring. He grabbed it as he got into his Hell Charger and was teleported to Central City and drived around at neck breaking speed break glass from the speed wave. He laughs demonicly as he couldn't control the rage. The ring was making the rider uncontrollable. Robbie said," sh*t can't control the rider." As the Hell charger stopped Gorrila Grod was ther terrorizing the citizen as the rider got out of the charger his hellfire even bigger, her wiped his chain grabbing Grod and pulling him said," get over here!" Grod fell to the floor. And the Flash, Barry Allan so on the news that a new person appear with a flamed skull face. Barry suited up and ran to the area and said," whoa how's this?" The ride yelled as he picked up Grod ready to do the penance stare. Berry used the speed force to get Grod. The rider looked as he was hungery for a soul. The rider looked around as he opened a portal and appeared next to The Flashed and punched him sending to the wall and Grod fell and tried to use the telepathy powers on the rider. It doesn't work. He laughs maniacal. And headed towards Flash. The Flash gets up and started to spin around the rider creating a vortex sucking the air out and puttibg out the flames of the riders head and the rider fell to the floor.The Flash stopped and look the the skeleton.

"So, what are we doing here, dad?"

"Come on, Stature. I told you that in the field I am Ant-Man. And we are here because I heard Cross broke out of prison again. Trying to track him down." Cassie smiled but rolled her eyes at the same time. Fighting crime alongside her dad was amazing. She never believed this would happen and now here they were working together as superheroes. Suddenly though a bright green light flashed in front of them. "What on Earth!" They soon noticed a ring was where the light was emanating from. Suddenly it started pulsating and Cassie could hear it in her head. The ring told her she was worthy of becoming the Green Lantern.

The ring zoomed over to her and she reached out to grab it. "Cassie wait! Don't touch it!" Scott was too late because as soon as the teen hero touched the ring she vanished right before his eyes. And Stature was gone.

Stature stared at the ring in her palm and was in awe of it. She felt the urge to put it on her finger. As soon as she did though her suit changed the way it looked. Looking around she realized she was not in the same place as before. "What the crap? Where am I? DAD!"

"Aww did the little girl playing dress up lose her daddy?" Cassie instantly went into a defensive position and began looking for the source of the voice. "Who are you and where am I?" There was silence for a while before the voice started up again. "Well, sweetie, you are in Star City. As for who I am you can call me Cupid. I'll help you find your daddy if you give me that little trinket on your finger."

Cassie looked towards the dark alleyway she believed the voice was coming from and looked at the ring on her finger, "Whatever this ring is it brought me here. Fat chance of me handing over my only possible chance of getting back home. Why don't you come out where I can see you?" Again Cassie stood in silence waiting for a response. "Alright then. Don't flinch." Cassie was initially puzzled by the remark but then she saw an arrow shoot out of the dark right towards her. She tried to dodge but didn't have enough time. Luckily for her, another arrow took the one flying at her right out of the sky.

The rider begins to laugh as he stood up the hellfire came back and He looks at the speedster. Robbie said," stop this now he's a hero where both heroes." The rider began to walk towards the Flash. The Flash sucker punched him to the floor. The rider stood up and sent a blast wave of fire knocking the Flash back to the ground as the The Ghost Rider grabbed him with the hell chains and brought him to him. He starte punching the flash in the face once he was near him. He was punching him alot where his face was getring bloody. Then the Flash hased through the ground and out of his chain and to a distance. The rider stood up still looking down then slowy look up. The sockets where eyes are supposed to be black empty hurgy for a corrupt soul. As he started to sway back and forth. The Flash looked and said, who the heck are you?" His healing factor kicking in healing his wounds. The red ring glowing brightly. The flash ran towards the rider and the rider started to walk forward and then his hand turned to a fist and both punched each other on the face. As both skidded backwards.

Try as he might, Killgrave could not make it past even the first level of security on Barbara Gordan's computer. It was password protected and, when he tried connecting the hard drive to a laptop a man a Best Buy "generously gave him for free", he found out that she had locked her own hard drive behind a password and a complex encryption. Clearly he was in over his head. He'd have to find a slave to do it for him.

There was a strange sound, like blowing wind, behind him and he turned around to find a man in armor and a green cape who was wearing an orange ring similar to his own yellow ring. "Doom." he said, sizing the man up. "How fortuitous. You're going to help me out."

"Doom works for no one, and your petty powers will not work on me." he said in a deep voice, "but if you have information that is of use, Doom will spare your life for the attempt at enslaving me."

"Impressive. Not many people can resist me." The Purple Man motioned to the computer. "This computer belonged to a slave of mine that knew about my ring." he held up his hand to show the ring, "and probably yours as well. The computer would contain more information, and everything we need to know about this world."

Doom walked by him and placed his hand on the keyboard. Text scrolled across the screen faster than a human could read it and ten seconds later the computer let them access it. Windows opened and closed on screen quickly. "Orange lanterns," he said. "Interesting. I can create duplicates of my enemies to battle for me. Useful."

There was a noise at the window and the two of them looked over to see a man in a purple suit with green hair and a white painted face. "Good morning, gentlemen. I heard someone else was occupying the place and thought I'd stop by to say hi." He slipped the crowbar he was carrying into his jacket.

"I've already faced one of this world's "heroes". She was strong, but no match for Doom." Doom said.

"You work for me now." said the Purple Man. If Doom killed this clown he would lose a potentially valuable slave.

"Of course," the man in the purple suit said, seeming almost pleased by the "job offer". "I'm the Joker. Who do you want killed?"

"No one for now." Killgrave said. "I need information."

"And more servants, if we are going to be at odds with this "Justice League"." Doom said. He went back over to the computer and touched the keyboard. "I need to find someone else who is intelligent enough to be useful as more than cannon fodder, and who has the resources to help us."

"Lex Luthor," the Joker and Doom said in unison.

Doom looked at the Joker. "So you do do know enough to be useful. I will go meet Lex Luthor and recruit him for our alliance." he looked at the Purple Man. "Get us some muscle, in case they attack." He pulled a brick-like device from his belt. "Motherbox, send me to Metropolis." The box beeped and a tunnel through space opened, which he stepped through.

"Nice. I wouldn't mind having one of those." Killgrave said.

"You want me to steal it from him?"

"No, he'd probably just kill us both for the attempt. We'll have to find another one. For now, I'll need you to find me some more slaves, just don't let them know that they are my slaves. Bring them here. I'll study the information on this computer."

The Joker nodded and climbed back out the window, onto the fire escape, as Killgrave sat down to study this new world.



A man with a quiver on his back and a bow in his hand fired an arrow at Cupid, then leapt off the roof of a nearby building, spinning around and firing a grappling hook arrow into the side of the building, then letting himself down slowly. The woman move to fire at it but it popped open, revealing a boxing glove which hit her in the face, knocking her down.

Once on the ground he hit a button on the bow and the arrow disconnected from the wall, returning to him. He put the arrow back in the quiver and turned around, revealing his blonde hair and goatee. "So, we got another Green Lantern? About time we got a woman. Canary will be happy." He walked forward and put out his hand. "Green Arrow."

The female archer started to get up and Green Arrow grabbed another arrow, firing it at her feet. The arrow stuck into the concrete and start releasing a fog. "We'll talk later. Follow me." He fired the Grapling arrow again and pulled himself up tho the roof again, running towards the city's industrial zone by jumping from roof to roof.

"Red Lantern?" the Flash said, noticing the ring. A red lantern that was this angry could be too much for him to handle. He tapped his earpiece. "This is the Flash. I need immediate backup. There's a Red Lantern with some sort of magical powers." He started running in circles around the man as he waited for backup. It could take them almost a minute to get people down here, which to a speedster was an eternity. Thankfully, a few seconds later someone joined him. Another speedster in yellow.

"Hey Barry," Wally said, joining the now-forming cyclone beside Flash, and talking at super speed so that no one else would understand them or even hear them clearly over the wind. "So, a Red Lantern. Today is not your day."

"Well, my morning workout was getting a bit boring. Decided to spice it up. So, you take high, I take low?"

"Works for me," Wally said, and they rushed him, Wally aiming at the burning skeleton's face and Barry sliding at his legs as if he was a baseball player sliding into a base.

Meanwhile in Coast City, Deadpool was having the time of his life. Sometime earlier, he was sitting in his apartment waiting for High Moon Studios to get back to him on his amazing idea for the sequel to the awesome Deadpool video game he had them make. But then suddenly a White Lantern Ring from the DC universe appeared in front of him. The serious voice in Deadpool's head had wondered what something from the DC universe was doing in the Marvel universe. The zany voice in Deadpool's head was quick to remind his headmate that it was because they were in a Marvel/DC crossover RP before urging Deadpool to put on the ring so they could head to the DC universe and kick Thanos in his Mad Titan balls for cursing them with life that 1 time to keep them from getting with Death. Deadpool was very much on board with that idea.

Once in the DC universe, Deadpool quickly skimmed through the White Lantern Ring wiki page to learn what sweet new powers he had. Now up to speed on how the ring worked, Deadpool took to the air. "THIS! IS! AWESOME!" Deadpool yelled as he soared through the sky.
'You can say that again!' the zany voice replied 'Not even flying the Blackbird's this fun!'
'Although blood stains are gonna be a problem now' the serious voice mentioned 'What with the ring turning our clothes white and everything'.
"Eh" Deadpool said "It's a small price to pay for all these awesome powers!".

The rider looked and rawred. As he was sent to the ground and the rider quickly got up. Looking at both of them and then exploded sending a wave of hellfire trying to hit both of them with the fire. The rider quivkly ran behind the burst wave of hellfire spinning the hellchain making the hellfire even more strong than it originally was. As he reach the two speedsters hey yelled. The ring only burning bright with a red light. It was using the Ghost riders rage to give it even more energy.

Stature stood back as the archer, who definitely wasn't Hawkeye, easily did away with the woman who had attacked. As the man then started speaking Stature became very confused because of the what he was saying. She'd never heard of a Green Lantern or someone named Canary. She still extended her hand and responded saying, "You can call be Stature."

She wished he would have stayed still a little bit longer since she had so many questions. At the very least he seemed more willing to offer information than the so-called Cupid so she decided she would follow. She moved her hand over to activate the wings on her suit but suddenly it started glowing green and before freaking out she realized that she was floating. "What the heck?" She soon realized it had to be the ring and that somehow it had given her the ability to fly. Now she just had more questions and her answers were getting away so she flew off after him. Flying right next to him as he ran she said, "So, I have a lot of questions, but first. What exactly is a Green Lantern?"

Deadpool's flight through the skies of Coast city didn't go unnoticed. It wasn't long before a man with a Green Aura flew beside him. "White Lantern? That doesn't mean that we're going to have to deal with zombies again, does it?" The man shrugged. "Either way, the Justice League will want to talk to you. I'll take you to them."

The two speeders got back to their feet, silently thankful for their healing abilities, and started running in circles again, making sure that they stayed out of the way of the chain and increasingly powerful fire. "Well, that didn't go so well." said Wally. "Got a plan B?"

"We've just got to buy enough time for...." The sentence was interrupting by sounds of explosions which surrounded the Skull-headed man. Green bolts rained down from above as an orange skinned woman in a purple bikini-like outfit rapidly launched them at him. Whether she hit him or not was anyone's guess.

"Starfire!" Barry called, "Perfect timing."

"I am merely purchasing time, as you are, so that Zatanna can arrive to exorcise the ghost she senses within him." On a nearby rooftop a faint glow of yellow could be seen as she prepped the spell.

Ollie stopped on top of a roof out of surprise. "Let me get this straight. You've never even heard of the Green Lantern Corp, but you are wearing one of their rings. I didn't expect to deal with a brand new Lantern like this. I'll have John show you the basics once we get to the Watchtower." He paused a second to catch his breath. "They're like an interstellar police force. Usually they only assign one or two to each sector of space, but Earth has three." He caught himself. "Well, I guess four now, though you'll need training before you can do field work. I'll take you to our base, the Watchtower. John will be able to explain this way better than I can, since he is a Lantern."

Ollie heard the sound of scrapping gravel and looked over, only to see Cupid pointing an arrow at him. "I've got you now Green Arro.." There was a sound like a quiet pop, and blue energy washed over her body. She collapsed, releasing the draw on the bow, which sent an arrow into an air conditioning duct beside Green Arrow.

A man in a Red outfit much like the Green Arrow's, but carrying an oversized glowing gun stepped out of the nearby shadows. "Well, Mr. T, looks like the stun gun was a success."

"It's Mr. Terrific," The voice on the radio responded, "not Mr. T. I don't wear gold. And it's a Neural Disruption Pulse Cannon, not a stun gun."

"Right." the man in Red responded.

"Where have you been?" Ollie asked, walking over to him. "I called you an hour ago, right after I found Cupid."

"Have you ever tried getting a baby sitter on short notice?" he asked, and Ollie just shrugged. "So, looks like we got a new Lantern. A woman. Canary will be happy."

"Exactly what I said." replied Ollie, and lead his former sidekick over to greet the woman. "Stature, this is Arsenal, my former sidekick."

"Partner." he corrected, putting out his hand to offer Stature a handshake. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I take it you two were headed for the transporter sight?"

The Rider blockee the shots and sensed magic being preformed as he opened a portal under his feet and he vanished as he appeared where the magic was coming from right infront of her. He grabbed Zatana by the neck and said with a demonic voice," you cannot pray me from this body!" He looked at her and said," You are innocent and pure hearted i will not take your soul." He applied pressure to the neck to make her faint. He carried her down and layed her on the floor. As Robbie started to fight the rider to get back to normal he couldn't but the rider looked at the others and said," i must send A corrupted soul to hell!!!!!!"

'Looks like it's time for the plot to advance' the serious voice said as the Green Lantern approached.
'Awww' the zany voice replied as the man started speaking 'But I wanted to fly some more. Can't we keep on flying for just a little longer?'.
"We can fly some more later" Deadpool said just as Hal finished speaking "You remember why we're here right? We gotta find Thanos and kick him in his Mad Titan balls!".
'Oh yeah!' the zany voice said 'The wiki page said we can use the White Ring to access the rings of any member of any of the other corps and spy on them. So let's do that!'
"Ok" Deadpool said before using the White Lantern Ring's emotional spectrum dominance to locate Thanos.
'Looks like he's up in space' the zany voice said.
'Which is also where the Watchtower happens to be' the serious voice added.
"Then that's where we're heading!" Deadpool declared before turning to the person flying next to him "So I wasn't really listening to what you were saying. But if whatever you said means I can get to the Watchtower, then I'm cool with it".

Near where the fight was happening Grodd began to wake up. The first thing he remembered was the Flash saving his life. He was probably going to throw Grodd in prison, but Grodd preferred that to whatever the burning-skull man was doing to him. "How dare you attack me." Grodd said. He roared and ran at the man in leather.

"No, Grodd!" the Flash yelled as he got close enough and swung a giant fist at the skull-man's skull, intending to shatter it.

"Uh, sure," said Hal to the White Lantern. "I'm Hal, by the way. If you don't mind, I'll take you straight there." With that he turned upwards and accelerated. After all, he nearly had to make escape velocity if he was going to meet the Watchtower in orbit.

About ten minutes later he arrived at one of the Watchtower's air locks. He placed his eye near a scanner and, after verifying his identity, the door opened and he entered. Once the airlock had pressurized he dropped his shield and activated his comms equipment. "This is Hal. I found a White Lantern flying around Earth. I'm bringing him to the Atrium." He looked at Deadpool and motioned for him to walk with him. "So, you said something about a Titan named "Thanos"? I'm not familiar with him."

There was a knock on the door of Oracle's former apartment and Kilgrave opened it to see the Joker standing there with three others. He let them in, then addressed the Joker. "So, I ask for slaves, and you bring me a cat-girl, a magician in a top-hat, and another clown."

"What? Slaves?" the Shade said. "I'm leaving."

"No, you're not. You staying here until I tell you otherwise. All of you are." The Shade stopped moving, and looked at the Purple Man, scared now that he realized that he couldn't make himself leave. "That's quite the power you have there, Mr....?"

"Kilgrave." he responded. "but you will all call me by the alias "the Purple Man" when there's a risk of heroes or the public hearing you." He turned back to the Joker. "So, you were about to explain yourself?"

"Yes," responded the Joker. "This "cat-girl" is an archeologist with magical powers, the Magician has the ability to generate darkness, and the clown... well, she's unpredictable just like me and would follow you even without the mind control just to work with me."

A portal opened up and Lex Luthor stepped out, followed shortly by Doom. "Cheetah, the Shade, and Harlequin. It's not surprising that's the best you can do with the Joker doing your recruiting." He looked at Kilgrave. "Doom has already put some sort of spell on me to protect me from your mind control. Don't worry, though. As long as we're on track to end the Justice League, I'll be on your side just as loyally as if I wasn't immune to your power." He looked around briefly. "Now, not that this place isn't nice, but I've got a better hideout elsewhere in Gotham." He told them where it was and, after they had gathered up everything of value and Doom had created a large crate with his ring to carry it all, Doom ordered Motherbox to open another portal and they stepped through to the new base.

The rider stopped it and soon broke grodds hand and he looked at him, he kicks grodd down and jumps on him and did the penance stare on grodd burning the app alive as he tore his soul from his body. The rider began tl calm down and Robbie yelled noo. He he turned back into human and he was yelling and he fell to his knees. He said," Im sorry, I'm sorry." He looked at the floor and tries to take off the ring

"Probably because he comes from a different universe" Deadpool said as he followed Hal through the Watchtower "And every time he makes an entrance, you can bet your ass that shit's about to get real. To make a long story short, he has a huge crush on Death - though he'll never get anywhere with her since she only backs up her ass for me - and as a result, he's always trying to impress her by killing literally everyone. And his latest plan was to become the living embodiment of death using the Black Lantern Ring. So far, it hasn't really worked out for him. 'Cause when pulled a Black Ring into the Marvel Universe, 1 ring of every other colour hitched a ride. Then when Thanos tried to send the other rings back to this universe, the Black Ring went with them. And on top of that, all of the rings found owners before being sent back here. And when the rings came back, the owners came with them".

Seeing that the man was about to unknowingly commit suicide, the Flash ran over and grabbed the Ghost-man's wrist before he could remove the ring. "I know you hate the fact that you just killed a man...er, sapient being...but if you remove that ring it will kill you. The ring damages your blood, but keeps you alive despite that. The ghost side of you might survive, but as a human you would die." He paused a few seconds to let that sink in and continued. "Come with me to our base. The Blue Lanterns are able to remove the ring without killing the wearer. We'll call them."

Starfire landed nearby and lifted Grodd's corpse as Wally went to check on Zatana. "I will take his body to his people. They may wish to give him a proper burial." With that she flew off towards Africa, carrying the massive body.

"That explains the appearance of a Sinestro Corp member in Gotham." said Batman, stepping out from behind a corner. "He's a metahuman that somehow managed to brainwash Oracle by just speaking to her. J'onn is trying to deal with the mental component, but it appears he uses some sort of enhanced Pheromone to break down your mental defenses as well. We're also dealing with a ghost-possessed man with a red ring and a teenage girl with a green one." He looked at Deadpool. "Your White ring and Thanos's black ring means that 5 of the 9 are accounted for." He turned to walk away, ignoring the fact that Hal wanted to interject something. "Follow me. You'll need to be debriefed, especially if you have history with this Thanos."

"I don't know," said the Flash. "I'm going to take you up to the Watchtower, so we can figure out how to get that ring off of your finger."

He grabbed the Ghostrider and ran a mile or so to the nearest teleporter spot so that they could beam up.

They appeared in the main plaza of the Watchtower, just as Batman and Hal Jordan walked by, followed by a White Lantern.

"So, that's the Red Lantern?" said Hal, "Good to see that you could calm him down."
