When an aspiring young archaeologist is invited by their old university professor on an expedition in Brazil, they leap at the chance. The professor, Doctor Brett Carter, informs them of an old Spanish treasure galleon that was supposedly sunk near a small island off the Brazilian coast. The ship, it's treasure, and the island are all part of a sordid legend dating back hundreds of years ago. Professor Carter had supposedly found a solid lead on the whereabouts of the ship and it's treasure, and has invited his favorite student on his expedition to Brazil.

After the former student arrives, the expedition begins without a hitch. Doctor Carter and his crew explore parts of the island and even discover the sunken ship after all these years. Before they can continue however, things take a turn for the worse when a rogue gang of treasure hunters hijacks the expedition. Doctor Carter and the team's guide are taken prisoner, and the rest of his team is killed. His former student however manages to escape into the island jungle.
The student is later rescued and helped by a couple who live on the island, however the couple is killed by the treasure hunters.

The student, realizing that there's little hope of escape while the treasure hunters control the island and the surrounding waters, formulates a plan to rescue Doctor Carter and escape the island.

You, my partner, obviously, will be playing as the young archaeologist, the favorite student of Doctor Carter back at college. You have been invited to the fictional Brazilian town of Algáuno, to an expedition off the Brazilian east coast to the island known as Isla de Perdió, Lost Island.

I won't be redundant by repeating the premise of your character being there. Hopefully the tab above gives you the full gist of the RP outline.

For the most part, you can be as customary with your character as you want, though I do have a few minor requirements listed below. (Don't worry, it's nothing too restricting.)

Character Requirements & Restrictions
-Aged Between 25-30
-Holds a Masters Degree in Archaeology
-From a larger more "main stream" university such as Duke, UCLA, Notre Dame, UCONN, Syracuse, ect. (No Ivy League schools.)

-I write from Mid-Casual to Low-Advanced.
-I only write in 3rd person perspective.
-I only RP in the forums. I DO NOT RP via PM, chat, google documents, or any other offsite windows.
-No XXX/detailed sex scenes, sexual assault or molestation.
-I can post anywhere from 2-4 times a day given the circumstances. I always post at least once a day unless of an emergency.
