I'm still here, still working on a collab post for the Machi/Kanna duel. A mixture of computer issues, being tired from work and currently being sick have made it hard to write anything.
I'll endeavour to finish my part of the collab tomorrow.
My internet is a bit shakey so I might not be able to respond for a while, but do you want a post regarding Kuo and do you intend to continue with who we have left?

Funny that, I was about to mention you today since Sat seems to have forgotten.
I know the only person that hasn't responded to anything yet is Plum (Knights and Sat are working stuff out through PM) and I doubt Cosmos is going anywhere, so that still leaves us with a party. I'm trying to get into contact with Plum but he's not quite responding. You're prolly best off getting a post up, tho.
@Ammokkx I saw this from the interest check and I think I'd like to play the Dark dorm. When I was younger I'd love using the cyberdark dragon cards so I might just work that in after some research. Although, you mentioned it was slow, but last IC post was 20 days... That's more than what I call slow, almost a month. So, if it is confirmed that it will be more active if we get another person than I'll throw up a CS for sure.
Also a question; The universe's tone is similar to the OG Yugioh, right? Like people being upset by how they 'treat' their cards and are generally over dramatic about a card game. Also this kinda mythical element that deals with the cards? It was mentioned how the God cards are a big deal, so I assume the latter is true. Sorry, if the word Tone isn't helping you understand. It's kinda hard for me to explain what I mean, but looking back on the shows(I only kept up to GX) I'm talking about how the story played out until that end.
@FoxSoxs In regards to the slowness, from what I understand a couple of people are working on posting stuff collaboratively so while there is not much going on at the moment in the thread there is a lot going on in the background that will go up all at once. Me and Ammokkx are also starting to work on something as well.
If we get more people involved then hopefully we don't end up with these periods where everyone is involved in large collabs at once and we get more smaller, interaction based posts so the thread doesn't look completely dead.
As far as tone goes, well, this is a world where there is a huge prestigious academy dedicated entirely to teaching people how to play a card game and one of my characters backstories included mention of professional level Duel Monster tournaments. So I think it's safe to say that Duel Monsters is a ridiculously big deal in this world like it is in the show.
@FoxSoxs Just off your WIP I already want to point out something.
This isn't the IRL game, so you don't need to go off IRL deck standards. Floodgates like the Solemn brigade, mirror force cards or even just Allure of Darkness aren't reccomended. Allure doesn't help you since you can just choose what to draw into anyway, and it's a +0. Try to go for more interesting cards; I recommend gimmicky stuff like Three-Strike-Barrier, Fusion Guard, Defense Draw, Half Unbreak, Power Wall, ...
Considering we're scripting, situational cards often wound up with much more interesting effects to play around with. There's not much point to going overly meta, as you actually pigeonhole yourself into a few select, boring plays. Just look at the completed Machi Vs. Kanna duel for reference; Despite it being Nekroz, Kanna still used a bad card like Sealing Ceremony of Suiton for that dramatic end, and Machi used a card like Double Attack which isn't even that good. Or hell, just the premise: In no sane world should Jurrac give Nekroz that hard of a time.
Also, try to show you run some non-cyberdarks. It'd be pretty silly for the resident dagon-equip deck to not run any dragons, ay?
EDIT: I also kind of, uh, just noticed the space above 'age' was a character name. I think it'd be preferred if you took a bit of a lighter colour that's easier on the eyes, because it's not really readable. The previous guy had the same issue -w-'
I would say there are some mythical elements but not as much as the show but if you want characters with those elements I’d welcome is so far Naoki is the only character that is truly affected by something
Don’t expect many mythical things happening unless I decide to alter some of the plot around these elements

I'll make the changes and keep what you said in mind when I finish it up. I haven't played Yugioh in forever so sorry about the meta build. I did some research on a deck for it. The newer cyberdark cards can equip with the old ones since they meet the criteria for the equip (Being 3 stars and having the Dragon type). To fit the deck theme I have all cyberdarks then not needing the old school Hunter Dragon staple.
Sorry if this was said, but are we fighting the NPC's also? I assume the PC responsible for them will play them or are we just fighting champions? I assume the world NPC's will also have a part ran by the GMs as well.

yeah but are you really only going to equip the two cyberdark monsters every duel? Not to sound nitpicky, but that sounds hella boring. You can and *should* get a little crazy with your plays and card choices, they make the most interesting stuff happen.

uh... ye? The NPC's are there *exactly* to give some variety to the cast so the 6(+2 gm) PCs aren't the only people on the planet, apparently. Not to mention there will be none sign-up NPCs for you to fight too.
by the way, @Tenma Tendo showed interest in the DD too from the int. check, so to make it fair we've given them a chance to also get a sheet up. We'll pick whichever one of the two is best, unless tenma wishes to step out. I hope you're alright with that, we don't really want to go with 'first come first serve' here because of the already limited space.
@FoxSoxs It's worth pointing out that the deck list you put in your profile it not a list you have to stick to, so it doesn't have to match exactly the deck you are going to use in the RP. You can and probably should use cards outside of that list in your duels, especially when it comes to your spell and trap cards.
The deck list is just supposed to give a general idea of what kind of deck this character uses. Add a couple generic dragons to the deck list just to get the point across that you could use those cards in a duel.
Appearance Reference Image Felicitas has a small, lithe stature (4' 10") and doll-like appearance with very long, messy beige hair that stops around her knees and dark, droopy midnight blue eyes. She always seems to have on a set of uniform that's too big for her, the sleeves long enough to cover up to the palm of her hand, or looks as if she just rolled out of bed with them on. Much like her favorite and most iconic card, Ghostrick Alucard, Felicitas loves to adorn a dark cloak of sorts with her uniform. This however, makes her appear even smaller than normal.
Personality Felicitas is known for having a very sleepy aura about her as she never really seems to be completely there. Prone to dozing off even mid sentence, it takes a lot out of the girl to interact with others, despite trying to do so once and a while; heck she'd fall asleep on your shoulder if you don't talk to her after a few minutes. When those around her can get past her sleepy nature, they'd come to see that Felicitas is a very nice and proud girl. She loves to duel her own way and won't let anyone tell her otherwise. And while she is focused on her own goals to succeed, she's understands that she's not the only one that wants to be the best and will fight hard to give those a match they can feel proud about winning.
Despite the persona she shows to those around her, Felicitas is known for getting easily upset and frightened by the most trivial things. Most of the time, it equates to a small pout or angry huff from the petite girl. But other cases could have her completely immobilized with fear, fainting, or even resulting to vulgar language. In the flip of a switch, Felicitas can easily loose her cool. Sometimes it feels like those are the only times she's really awake...
Dorm Dark
History Growing up in Germany with only her father and younger brother, Felicitas never really had an interest in anything. She was, and still is, prone to falling asleep or dozing off the moment she loses interest. Of course her family took her to the hospital to ensure she was actually okay and not suffering from narcolepsy, but the news they received told them she was perfectly fine. Was it just her mind tuning out whenever she was bored? Or was it the lack of stimulus to blame? Regardless, Felicitas' father took it upon himself to get his daughter into a hobby.
From sports to theater, even watching anime and playing video games, nothing seemed to hold the girl's interest for too long. That is, until dueling was pushed in front of her. It wasn't an immediate love for the sport upon first glance, though it did keep her interested, as it took months upon months for Felicitas to finally ask to get more cards and play the card game like any normal person would.
The various decks she could make on her own kept her coming back, actually had her focus on what worked and what didn't. She grew especially fond of Dark cards and the ones that weren't scarry looking despite being labeled such. And while she did play the game often with her brother, she would always win, it never being as challenging as she wanted. This caused her father to enroll her at the local Boys and Girls club, where he heard about dueling in the first place. There she was able to make new friends and duel to her hearts content. It's also where she met her best friend and favorite rival, Elliot.
Now Elliot and Felicitas were complete opposites in almost every way. Height, gender, personality, even interests. But they did have two things in common, and those two things were dueling and how quiet they would get when doing so. They were the best of friends, dueling in and out of the club and even doing other things together. It was probably the first time in Felicitas' life, at the age of 14, that she was completely happy and actually attentive of her surroundings. So attentive that she even suggested enrolling with Elliot in Harmonia United to her father.
The exam was definitely rocky, as her dueling was top-class while her written exam left a bit more to be desired, but nonetheless she got in, ranked just below Elliot. And even in such a new setting, the two were still butting heads, surpassing the other only for a short while before the other made a comeback. This back and forth took place as they were rising up the ranks. At the current moment, Elliot ranks second in the Dark Dorm while Felicitas has the edge over him as number one.

The 4 NPC's
A foil to Felicitas in almost ever which way. He's the best friend that couldn't possibly leave her alone and followed her to Harmonia United to keep battling her. Always with a polite smile or energetic hop in his step, Eliot never really knows when to sit still, especially when it comes to dueling. The mere sight of someone's cards can get him going, but he does have some kind of self restraint in the eyes of authority and staff. And while he is focused on his goals, Elliot is more interested in making friends and building relationships with those around him. Often seen carrying Felicitas on his back when she can't be bothered to walk.
He's cool with all the other members in the dorm, but he definitely has his preferences. He does enjoys messing with Liam though since he's the only other guy in the top five and can actually put up with his constant duel attempts like Felicitas.
Appearance: At 18 years old, Elliot is a very tall, lean man standing around 6' 3" with layered raven colored hair that stops around the nape of his neck and bright, almost unnatural lilac colored eyes hidden behind thin rectangular glasses. His skin is a little more on the pale side while he wears his uniform as properly as he can. He is a fan of wearing a random pin on his uniform each day, but that's probably just to a little but more different.
Deck: Shaddoll
Kame is a leader at heart. She seeks to be in control of situations, to be on top, to be the best. This doesn't necessarily mean that she is all driven to reach the top or that she wants to have all the leadership roles, but in day-to-day interactions with other people, she has a tendency towards one-upsmanship. Kame is firm and forceful in her approach to problems, especially when it comes to Felicitas and how 'unleaderlike' she always is. She believes in 'tough love', and tries to 'help' others by challenging them to prove themselves, as she herself would. Loves competition... but hates to lose. She can be very condescending to those that she looks down upon. Sometimes, Kame may even go as far as to blame others for his own mistakes, often to the point of lying to save face. All in all, Kame is not the type of person you'd want to be under, but love to be on top of in terms of status.
The only people she really respects and can all friends are Felicitas and Elliot, despite her nature. Practically bullies Liam and Bella, but they never seem to mind.
Appearance: A rather petite, but tomboyish girl, Kame sports short fiery red hair styled in a bob, deep purple brown eyes, and fair skin (5' 4", 17 years old). Much like Elliot, her uniform is clean and simple. Maybe as a form of humbleness? Or to get on the higher up's good side?
Deck: Red-Eyes
Liam is a meek, submissive introvert who lives to please others, especially his dorm. In any other setting aside from dueling, he's rather quick to give in to others rather than asserting his own desires as if they're the most important. He takes the path of least resistance whenever possible and is completely terrified at the thought of causing any conflicts. When forced into an argument, Liam is known for getting very upset and distressed, seeking escape rather than victory. Well-behaved and soft spoken, Liam is often seen as the big brother of the top five in the Dark dorm, even to those in other dorms. He's quick to apologize for any mistakes that he may have made, and will sacrifice his own happiness to ensure that others are happy.
Underneath this meek personality however, is a heart of gold entirely faithful to his dorm. Despite how the other's treat him, he's always friendly and caring. Not to mention responsible.
Appearance: Liam has short, neck length as gray hair with white highlights and one gold eye, the other being covered by an eyepatch (5' 10"). His skin is a chocolate brown while he tends to carry around his uniform blazer instead actually wearing it, opting out for a simple button down.
Deck:Blackwing
Super into fortunetelling and the 'dark arts', Bella is a collector of odd items and things of the sort. When not thinking about dueling, you'll always see her carrying around something new to show off to her fellow classmates. She's boisterous, bubbly, chatty, openly emotional, and social to those that find her interests well...interesting. It's largely because she enjoys the attention of others and feels good about the fact that she isn't lonely. She tends to talk more than she listens. She also makes friends quickly, and she'll cheerily talk to strangers. Bella's naturally physical with others, very 'touchy-feely', openly expressing her affection through hugs and grabbing shoulders.
She also manages to keep Felicitas' attention for long enough with her strange items, so that's gotta equate to something right?
Appearance: Bella sports short, spiky, dark purple hair that's kept in place with a red ribbon, giving of the appearance that she has devil horns. Her eyes are covered by her long bangs leaving an ominous shadow over her face. She does have noticeable canines sticking out of her mouth when closed, giving off a devilish, vampire feel to her. She's prone to wearing accessories akin to however she's feeling today. Form a devil tail, to a dusty white halo, you name it.
