-Vertex's quarters-

The Captain at the moment was a little busy, the half Draken was cleaning and checking her armor for any weaknesses or damages from the last raid they had, she knew the bad luck of this ship's last leaders, it almost wasn't even bad luck, it was almost like a curse for anyone who became the leader of this ship to die in some sort of way.

Vertex brought a soft cloth against her helmet and over the visor, she couldn't recount how many times shes cleaned her helmet and armor, the only thing that changed when she done this was just the surroundings; she could remember most of the battles she was in and the heavy amount of scars on her body from each of her old injuries, once the cloth met with one of the gauntlets she felt a sharp pain shoot up her arm and she rested the piece of armor on her bed before figuring she would need to check in with everyone else.

She rubbed her scaled hands across her shoulder and cracked her neck, she looked at her quarters, despite it not being bigger than the normal crew rooms she didn't mind the size, but the bed was too soft for her needs, if she got the chance she'd have to switch the bed out for something that's tougher, for now the floor would be better than the bed, the softness of it was almost painful to the captain.

Before she left out the door she noticed the board she had set up for potential targets or future targets, it was filled with information of different ships, pictures of them and their captains, crew members, parts of the ship that were good to target in an attack, the entire thing was also pretty messy and could give someone almost information overload with the wrong info and Vertex wanted it like that just in case someone she didn't want reading it came in and read it, she trusted her crew but she didn't want to share every single thing with them just in case someone got the wrong idea.

-Common area-

As Vertex walked around the ship, she had a creeping feeling something wasn't right, she had let the ship drift while she tended to her armor, she felt that it was a stupid thing to do, any peacekeeper could've crept up on them at the moment and got the drop on them, she shook the idea from her head. Ever since she had become the captain of this ship she kept getting the idea that she was gonna be knee deep in her crew's blood and corpses, she tried to keep the idea from out of her head and wandered around looking for the others to see if they were ready for a mission soon.

Out of nowhere the ship was stopped, everyone including Vertex were jerked forwards, with Vertex nearly tumbling over, the captain knew this feeling before, it wasn't them accidentlly bumping into another ship, or another ship crashing into them, she knew how that felt it would've thrown everything to the floor and even Vertex would've ate plate deck right now. She began rushing towards the bridge heading up the stairs, once she was at the bridge it was exactly what she thought; they were caught inside of a tractor beam, a transmission was then sent to them, and it was the same transmission given by Peace keepers to criminals, but all Vertex saw from their message was."Prepare to be boarded"

The Captain pressed the button for the intercom and simply cleared her throat." Everyone we are caught in a tractor beam and we will soon be boarded by peace keepers, let's give these space cops a Black void welcoming at the airlock." She pulled her scaly finger from the the button and felt confident that they would be ready before they are completely pulled in and boarded. Vertex went into a jog heading back to her quarters to get her armor.

It didn't take long for her to get her her armor on and load her LMG, she knew that she couldn't use the grenade launcher on the ship unless she wanted to destroy a good portion of the airlock and the ship it's self. She groaned and figured killing these peacekeepers would let off some steam and then they could get back to business, Vertex had a plan on how to take down these fools, they would just have to hold off against the first wave and hope they wouldn't call for backup ships. The moment she got to the airlock she began setting up a choke point and pushing some of the furniture from the lounge out for some make shift cover, hopefully it would be enough, she then waited for the others to come down or over to the airlock and hoped they would be around in time.

Odd took up residence in what he referred to as a hang mans nest, a series of netted ropes, 4 different secured nets overlapping into a small hammock situated in the upper corners of the ships cargo bay. Many chose comfort for their home but Odd had suffered from such a lax attitude once and nearly caught a bullet for it. Some of the crew knew where he called his home but with all the containers blocking the view it was nearly impossible to get at without alerting him.
With a vent hidden nearby it was a quick way in and out, not that he particularly cared to use them as a means of travel. The hallways were still a preference.

As the ship lurched in place, stopped by an outside force, Odd went into his routine. Outsiders were always bad even if the ship had stopped on its own accors to rendezvous. This didn't strike hisndelicate sensibilities as a predeternined stop. The jerking motion of a forced halt was a dead giveaway.
From his perch he holstered his rifle and sidearm, a lead firing assault rifle and a 6 shot revolver on his thing, and disentangled himself from the nest to land on a railway on the top level with the heavy pistol at the ready.

The captains voice echoed on the comms, bringing a rare smile yo Odds face behind his helmet. Cops.
Those meat heads had the same tactic. In a sprint, Odd made his way through the interconnecting hallways.
If he found anyone straggling behind, they would be taken with him to meet the force head on.

Firedog laid on the wing of his heavy fighter when the lurch and alarm started blaring. "Oh thank god." he said to himself and leapt off the wing. He had been trying to think up ways to entertain himself since he hadnt had a good fight in like a whole week. Before the alarm made him forget he had been planning on rewiring the lights in the little mess hall so that only half the lights where on no matter which way the switches where flipped. Would have driven the engineers crazy for a day figuring out what happened and fixing it, which would have been hysterical.

He opened the cockpit to his fighter and climbed in. It briefly occurred to him that the captain might want him manning a gun near one of the airlocks, but he didn't have the best weapons for that kind of job and a few plasma bolts melting the other ships bridge would certainly give them something else to think about. Worse came to worse, he could always escape and leave the rest of his comrades to their fate. So out with the fighter was really his only choice. As soon as he closed the cockpit hatch he fired up the reactor and engines while telling the launch bay to depressurize.

The process would have taken too long for the bay to fully empty so he sent the Override command from the fighter and opening the door early, venting a reasonable portion of atmosphere into space. This making the ship lurch again but much less so than when the ship was grabbed. he opened the communication panel on his fighter and sent to the captain "Firedog launching, imma give em something other than killing you all to think about" around the same time he punched up the thrust on his engines and rocketed from the bay hard. The 8Gs of force his engines where making would have been enough to make most people start feeling dizzy and worrying if their bones would break. Firedog didn't worry about it, would take a few more Gs to make him woozy.

The crimson of the visor shined back at Meta's face as he examined it. Checking most, if not all of his gear was part of his daily routine, as he wanted to make sure he was ready for anything. He then lifted his helmet up, slipping it onto his head before making sure it was securely fastened. It had been two weeks or so since he joined the Black Void and was slowly getting used to the ship and the crew that he was now a part of. He sat back down on his bed and looked around his quarters, which remotely reminded him of the holding cells back on his own ship.

As he sat there he felt the whole ship suddenly stop, which would have thrown him onto the floor had he not grabbed the bed. Assuming the worst he immediately stood up and grabbed his plasma rifle and laser-based sidearm, holstering the sidearm while slinging the rifle. As he finished equipping his weapons, he heard the captain's message on the intercom which confirmed his assumption. He double-checked all his equipment before exiting his quarters and heading to the airlock. When he arrived there he had spotted that the captain was already finished making defensive preparations, with the furniture from the lounge serving as cover for the crew of the Wyvern. He walked over, stopping beside her before saying:

Meta: Seems we're a bit early, got any idea of what we're up against?

As the unregistered ship was drawn in for boarding, all the crew aboard the C-19 Axis Patrol Ship stood ready in disciplined formation at their posts, over looking their gear and Intel.
Calm and precise orders were thrown across their secure comm's and uploaded to their equipment. Droids and other robots quickly fell into place.
The standard peacekeeping patrol ship was finally returning to the systems space station and ending the troops long rotation when a sudden urgent call had them back track to investigate another pirate lead.

Meanwhile Amongst all the bustle there was one human female still sliding her near naked thin frame into the specialised infiltration mobile battle suit. A high tech body armour that balanced sturdy protection and agile mobility. It could later be further reinforced with selective adaptable plating but Anya didn't have the time or patience to fiddle with such things. This was the third mission she had witnessed this crew undertake and she knew first hand just how fast, efficient, ruthless and deadly they could be.

Anya had managed to hook up her cybernetic eye to the visual data that was being displayed within the helmet of every infantry personal. Because of the reverse facial recognition she could not wear one herself and had left the poor unconscious bound prison guard still wearing his.

Suddenly Anya was taken back as new additional screens popped up in her vision. And with this new information certain puzzle pieces fell into place.
From her previous vantage point, she had suffered from these tactics, but now on the inside, she could see and understand them all.

Just beyond the shielded first-contact tactical bots was a swarm of tiny scouting drones ready to sweep the captured ship. They would sneak in concealed by the commotions of the first wave. These gave more than just a live feed of the whole ship, they also gave dangerous tactical system information.

Anya knew what this apprehended crew was about to face. Using her ULF transceiver she frantically searched for an open speaker to contact someone on. To warn them of what was coming. The first contact bots.
Low on fire power, these heavily armoured and shielded communication machines were a rioters nightmare. When triggered they would violently assault all the senses. A deafening siren would commence at a decibel so loud that anyone caught unprotected for too long would simply pass out. Simultaneously it would release a thick concealing fog and tear gas at the same time to really distract and obscure everyone's vision.

Finding what she believed to be an opened receiving channel Anya sent through a verbal message. Unsure of what it was going to or if anyone was listening. With no way they could reply, she couldn't know if it worked.
'Shit! Delay DELAY!
I repeat, delay the first contact bots. Talk shit, do what ever you have to do, just don't be hostile.'

The moment Firedog jumped out into the cold void of space Fighters and drones were already trying to line up behind him and get a shot on him, while their drones tried to close in on him to get to get on the hull of his ship, possibly to just disable his fighter so they could arrest him, but it took a while for them to line up behind him so they could get a good shot and almost looked like they were trying to badly tail him just so he's not escaping.

While Firedog was planning on giving the Peacekeepers a hard Time Odd and Meta had arrived, Meta had asked the captain what they were up against." I'm guessing I just woke you up? Because I said over the intercom there were peace keepers." She told the armored boy before looking to Odd." Lad, I won't ask you to do anything I you can't, but I want you and the rest of the others to fight behind the furniture, I'll soak up most of the ammo when they first start coming in, just don't shoot me in the back and I won't consider spacing ya." She told them before managing to jump over the furniture in all her heavy armor.

Suddenly the airlock opened and instead of the black cold vac of space there were over a dozen combat robots armed with standard laser rifles. One of the lucky bots got a shot off on Vertex hitting her chest and having the laser blast bounce off her armor and hit the walls of the airlock; a burning heat built up in Vertex's chest after the shot, even though her armor reflected it, she still felt a little of it's heat before she started firing on the robots.

Some of the robots were split in half by the gun fire while she missed some of the others as another group charged in, around twelve robots were facing her down, Vertex took a knee and began firing her lmg, she let the recoil of the rifle push back into her chest as she fired on them to get their attention hoping that Meta and Odd would start firing from behind their cover of furniture." Come don't just stand there staring at'em the enemy won't just wait for you to shoot'em."

Internal Sync complete...
Re-cooperating systems...
12D routine repairs 25%...
12D routine repairs 59%...
12D routine repairs 87%...
Routine repairs canceled...
Hostiles have boarded the ship...
Focusing power: Combat...
Intialising 12D start up sequence...

12D sat up from her bed, a few things weren't right since routine repairs weren't able to finish. She was a bit annoyed but 87% wasn't bad for combat at all, if it was below 50, should would end up missing more shots than what she would usually do. She brushed her hair back and moved to the edge of her bed, she heard a shot go off and immediately stood up to go prepare her weapon. She removed a black case from under her bead to reveal the sniper rifle of her choice, a silencer, a magazine and a box of bullets. She went on to attach the silencer and load the gun as she did it. Suddenly, a small pod, the size of a phone flew from off her bedside table on to her side.

"Combat seems to have initiated, proposal: help crew members defend the ship." Said the pod in it's deep robotic voice.

"I got that." 12D replied as she loaded her rifle. "Find me a spot to perch on, or are you going to be as annoying as always?"

"Accessing database... Proposal: The metal beams of the common area." The pod suggested, and 12D just raised her brow as she slung the rifle around her body, "Not bad, now calculate the probability of being seen before I take a shot." 12D ordered as she sheathed the short sword on her back too, she exited her quarters as the pod calculated, "79%... 41% if hostiles have a scanner bot, proposal: Do not be seen." 12D gritted her teeth and grabbed the pod out of the air, she shoved the pod in her pocket and spoke, "Your proposal is stupid, Who the hell wants to be seen? Whatever, I'm on my way to assist."

She then raised her wrist the underside of her wrist to her arm and spoke on the comms "I'm on my way to assist, apologies for being late, I was doing routine repairs."

Firedog noticed the drones on his sensor grid just after launch. "Pfft" he sputtered through his lips. He punched the thrust up to the edge of his own G limits. At 10 g he had to alter his breathing slightly to compensate the drones flight pattern was poor and he had a good distance on them.

He shrugged internally and fired all the manuvering thrusters hard to flip his craft 180 and cut his thrust. The ship flipped hard and jarred Firedog with the abrupt changes. With the ship flying backwards he fired a hail of laser and plasma destroying several outright and grazing a few more limiting their effectiveness.

With that done he chuckled and flipped back over to make a pass at the police ship. While deploying countermeasure to confuse the drones. As he rocketed at the ship the drones did lose him for a few moments and then realized his plan going for a much more aggressive attack on his fighter once they realized the mother ship was in danger.

After the captain had answered his question, he immediately tried to correct her, recognizing that it was a case of miscommunication on his part.

Meta: That's not what I meant. I was asking about-

But before he could even finish his statement, the airlock doors opened and conveniently answered his question for him as the platoon of police droids poured out of the doorway and opened fire on the three. He instantly grabbed his plasma rifle as one particular unit turned to aim its rifle at him. Meta quickly pulled the trigger and a red bolt of plasma shot out of the barrel and made its mark on the chestplate of the droid, knocking it down and leaving a gaping crater in its wake. Sparks began to fly out of the droid as its systems began to fail, it attempted to recover but soon fell back to the floor with a crash as another shot from Meta blasted its head to pieces. After dispatching the droid, he quickly shifted his attention to the group that was focused on Vertex. He fired a barrage of plasma bolts into the group, taking out a few bots with lucky shots while making sure that he wouldn't hit the captain, as he knew that even a single stray shot would leave them in a disadvantageous situation.

While he was gunning down the droids, his helmet detected another robotic presence moving from behind them. Fortunately this was a friendly, and shortly after he recognized the signal as their android crew member. He opened his Comms to her and started talking.

Meta: Good timing, we could use some more help with these clankers.

However, his comm system soon detected another signal on an open channel. Initially hesitant, he eventually opened the channel and received the message. Once he heard it, he switched back to the comm of the Wyvern's crew and played the message there, for everyone to hear.

Meta: Found this in an open channel, thought you guys might want to hear it.

As Firedog grazed and took out some of the other fighters, one of the fighters stayed on his tail landing a few shots on him but nothing to majorly damage his fighter, while most of the drones were destroyed or damaged, they pulled out of the fight as one of the cannons on the peace keeper ship turned to follow his fighter's movements attempting to target him and take out his fighter out.

While inside the airlock Vertex was narrowly dodging plasma and bullets while killing cop bots, she and the others took out the last wave with one last standing bot shooting Vertex in the arm with a lead shooting pistol, the round pinged off her armor and into the air lock's walls.

Feeling pissed off, the captain charged the last bot head butting it to the ground and stomping on it's chest, she held it down before firing into it with almost all of her bullets splitting the robot into two pieces and painting her dark armor in some of it's oil.

Once the robots were destroyed, Vertex looked back to the others and noticed that some more of the crew arrived, well one more did, she turned her back to the airlock door, wondering if this was all they had, before being shot between the armor plates, she could feel the warm blood running down her side and quick spun around to face a wall of shield wielding cops, they had metal shields and were gonna push their way up.

Vertex was tempted to fire her grenade launcher into the group, but she didn't want to accidently fire it and space herself with all of them, so she did the next best thing, she turned around a second time and leaped over the barrier." Damn it we need to take out those shields before they end up pushing forwards." She told them." And we gotta make sure they don't take us out, the comms can wait we gotta focus on this first, whatever it is can wait."

12D sprinted through the halls and climbed up onto the support beams trying to see what was going on, as the enemies were firing at her team down below she had quietly sneaked on to the higher area, she then scanned the room, but her sensors weren't functioning as well as they were since the internal syncing wasn't fully finished. She realised this and fished out her pod.

"Pod, scan the room and the percentage of hitting each shot." Said 12D as she pulled out her rifle and started scanning the room through the scope.

"Intialising... 97% on bot #7291, 87% on bot #9912, proposal: neutralise bot #7291 first then #9912, afterwards join your allies." Said the pod as it zoomed back in her pocket.

"That's what I want to hear, you being useful again." 12D stated as she aimed for bot #7291.

She took the shot straight through it's power core, then moved on to bot #9912 and took out it's power core as well, of course that got the bots to start scanning the room, and the moment they saw her perched up there, one of the bots took a shot. The bullet clipped 12D on the forearm as she dropped down. She looked at her forearm to see blue dripping from the wound, the liquid was the android's self regulating fluid, but it's often known as blue blood across the universe. (Blue blood is a compound vital to the functioning of all androids, circulating energy and electrical information throughout the machine's 'body'.) She wiped it off and ripped a piece of cloth off her shirt to cover it up so that it would stop dripping everywhere.

"You guys doing alright here? Apologies for being late, internal syncing was going on." 12D mentioned as she hid behind some cover.

Odd gave a nod of acknowledgement to the captains orders and took a knee behind whatever cover was available closest to a wall. Behind him was one of the many doors out into the rest of the ship in easy reach if the persistent enemy manages to get through the initial blockade. There was also a chance they could find another way in if hangar or cargo doors were opened somehow.

The moment the doors opened and the predictable wave of droids came storming in, Odd held his shots while the other crewmates took their chance for some mayhem. Normally the gunner would have taken the opportunity too, but with so many in the way there was no guarantee of clean firing space. Instead he waited for others to reload before popping up and firing a shot from his sidearm, the heavy energy firearm took a bot in the center of its chest while a second took it in the head area, felling it quickly as the weapon tore through its metal pieces with ease and scorching the wall or droids behind it.

His assault rifle was still on his shoulder as Odd waited for a better opportunity.
