Appearance
On first glance, Eli would not be easily taken for a Runner, especially for such a group to bare arms. With a somewhat slim build and a smaller height than the average fighter, he has quite a meek stature to his appearance, still maintaining the ever-old facade of a timid and weakened young man. One would not be mistaken to think that strength was not his strong point, and Eli is fully accepting of this truth. However, what he does not make up for in physical prowess Eli definitely uses endurance and speed to his advantages. His frame gives a near-perfect build for that of an Elite Runner, giving him the abilities to fit into tight spaces and traverse different heights with ease. His advantages lie heavily with what little he has to offer and is made up for in his chosen career path.
On a more generalised focus, Eli isn't too special to look at. Sure, he isn't bland or unappealing, but throughout his life he'd found that nothing about him stood out from the crowd. Whilst that could be great for slipping into crowds of misguided citizens when escaping security details hunting him down, it did not really help in terms of past interactions. With a strong emerald-tone within his eyes and the dark, muddy brown hair he rarely touches, allowing it to freely style itself dependent on the situation. His skin isn't crystal clear and holds some murky textures to its shading, but being both a mix of natural inheritance and current-age healthcare, it isn't that much to notify of from his own perspective. Surrounding his mouth sits a very thin wash of facial hair that gently circumnavigates his jawline. Whilst this is more of a stylistic choice than anything, he finds it a waste of time to shave it off.
Psychological Profile
As Gabriel is very accustomed to knowing his Runners well, he has a complete analogy of Eli's to compare to the other Runners' psychological profiles. Eli's stands as one of the more odd, considering his track record beneath Gabriel's command. The young man has always appeared to be somewhat self-deprecating towards his abilities, successes, failures and other daily occurrences that keep him occupied. Gabriel has always been moderately concerned about this and knows that someday his lack of appreciation towards his own and others' abilities will eventually cause fatal exploits in his future progress. Despite this mind-set, Eli is dead-set on keeping an objective ahead on schedule. Everything he commits towards is usually done with careful planning, precision and intellect, as his previous position within the Runner's organisation was dependent on these skills. This can sometimes lead to a contradictory belief and confidence in his own work when on the field, seeing that preparing for the worst was always an ideal strategy in this forsaken city's conflict. However, during interviews and interactions with Gabriel himself, Eli has personally stated he fears his position as a Runner during most occasions. Seeing that he must follow through with the role under a strong sense of duty, the stress and danger surrounding it has caused for some sleepless nights, panic attacks and, in serious cases, requirements of temporary leave to recover from mental trauma. Because of this, Gabriel has made all the runners inclined to not mention the Dead Drop of the Hallow Industrial Estate to avoid certain triggers. Because of all of this, Gabriel is still considering pulling him off duty, but for now he wants to see if his condition improves with the new introduction of Runners who may mix well with him.

Biography
Eli has always been a citizen of Reflection. He was born there, brought up by his family there and carried his life through what it had to offer. The first few years were but blurred lines and the extensive use of following orders given by the Conglomerate, just as any child would do. There was nothing of huge notice until the time Eli turned thirteen and was subjected to a house-arrest under reasons he did not understand at the time. As it turns out, Eli's mother, Lucia, was heavily involved with a criminal organisation that garnered the family all its riches and paid off all expenses required. A series of mixed emotions played around in Eli's youthful head during that time. Prior to realisation and rationalism, outbursts of anger and confusion plagued his mind day-in and day-out of the house arrest. Interrogators would come around and pressure him with questions, despite having no affiliation to the supposed crimes his parents were involved within. But further investigation found that the reason for their arrest was a fabrication of the truth, hiding the fact that the Conglomerate were beginning a long-term series of arrests towards associated Runners. Lucia was one of those Runners.
Eli's parents were among the first of many secretive arrests made over the next decade. It wasn't much at the time, but Eli soon realised he would be permanently separated from his parents. This became even more apparent when after the Conglomerate gained full custody and detainment of Lucia and her husband, Eli was taken in by a very close associate of his mother: Gabriel Raymond, Eli's uncle. Before that day, the young boy had no recollection of who this man was or how he'd come to meet him, yet Gabriel had a full memory of who he was as a child, watching him grow up from the shadows of rooftop alleyways. Soon enough, the two formed a rather mutual friendship as carer and child. And it remained as such a way whilst he grew up throughout his teenage years. Gabriel refused to let him become a runner and instead allowed him to practice in city analysis and tinkering with gear. This eventually led to, on his 18th birthday, Gabriel personally employing him as a information specialist. Here, he would be tasked with analysing and planning routes for Runners to take based upon scavenged city drawing plans. This allowed him to develop critical thinking skills and so forth for a good few years. Until he became into his very early twenties, this was where Eli would remain.
Time approached towards his 21st birthday and Eli finally was granted the request he always wanted. From the previous head-of-command for the Runners Organisation, permission for Gabriel to take him under his wing as a personal student allowed for him to begin his training as a Runner. Practice was tough and Gabriel proved to be one of the most intense trainers Reflection had to offer. Eli learnt that the hard way, firsthand. Countless hours of practising techniques that only Gabriel himself utilised allowed for him to become as skilled as his master was very quickly. Both had an innate ability to learn from one another and process information vastly quicker on the fly. Some used to say that because they were bound by blood it was inevitable for both to be as good as one another, though in reality Gabriel was far more skilled than his younger counterpart. Despite having a wonderful year of training, it eventually was realised that all this preparation was for something far worse in the future, something that Gabriel himself could sense coming. And soon enough, that wave of bullets caught up to their shores.
The Red Morning was far from tame for Eli. He was caught in the thick of it, straight into the hell of Earth that was Reflection's grimmest day. For months, his training as a Runner made him somewhat forgetful about the Enforcers that had once arrested his parents and removed them from his company. But the day they came, with their VTOLs circulating their headquarters with guns pointed viciously in their direction, all of that hell was unleashed upon them. Windows cracked and the skies were filled with the sounds of cackles from the trips of a gun's barrel. Rapid fire started to wipe down the unexpected caught in their line of sight, and only a select few were able to find the luck to escape the first contact. Several had to attempt to fight their way out and only a few were successful in doing so. Gabriel and Eli were amongst the few who had to forcefully break their way out of the slaughter, which ended in Eli having to claim his first life. In order to save Gabriel from potential death, Eli threw a member of the Enforcers off of the rooftops, plummeting down towards their death, no doubt about it. Courage slipped out of him the moment that man's blood was upon his own hands. It marked Eli as a justifiable target for the Security forces and without a minute to spare both he and his guardian were quick to vacate the area.
Blood stained his clothing and panic was flourishing within his mind. For the next few weeks, they laid low, for months they kept their course quiet and still. It wasn't until the formation of the Doves where Eli began to recover mentally, finally being able to run. Gabriel recruited an influx of survivors from the Red Morning as well as many inexperienced Runners who were still trying to survive in the hellish declaration of extermination. It was here that Eli's first dangerous mission was taken into action. Armed weapons were first employed here, during the Dead Drop in an Industrial district, where Security forces ambushed Eli's Running team and forced him into a seemingly never-ending gunfight to the bitter end. Only Eli and a second female Runner were able to survive the dire encounter. After that day, where trauma has permanently stained Eli's mind, the now approaching war against the Security forces is now about to hit harder than ever before.
