"Woah! Hey, easy there!" J blurted out in response to Link's 'invitation'. "And for the last time, he is not my b- Ugh, I'm going to freaking murder you, M!"

That was when Rex decided to speak up. "So this is a parallel universe, right? Awesome! Is Ben here too?"

J cocked her head at the Hispanic teen. "I'm sorry, who?"

"A kid in a green jacket, has this cool watch that turns him into all sorts of aliens?"

"I uh, don't think so..."

"Aww, I was hoping we could meet up again."

"We'll... consider him if we find him," J told him as she nodded, before proceeding to answer Zack's question. "Oh, there most definitely are others. My partner is currently addressing them in some other part of the HQ, hopefully. In fact, I believe there's someone here you might know."

She thought back to the other sword-wielding spellcaster they had found as she said this, wondering how things were going back at the lab. The current group she was with seemed a little loopy, but she was glad that she was having a somewhat easy time with them. The two males were enthusiastic, and the elf girl, though arguably crossing the line with her flirting, still looked glad to be here. She could only hope that R was doing alright on his side.

"Well, we still have a few more things to sort out, so do have a look around in the meantime. Apart from the occasional hordes of rampaging monsters wreaking havoc out on the streets, Cinix City is a great place, I promise. There's a ton of stuff to do. Just one more thing, if you need us for anything, just do what you did with your emblems the first time, and it'll take you right back to our base. Are there any more questions as of now?"

R slapped his forehead at the vikings' words. "Argh, right! I'm sorry, way to much going on at the moment. Can you help them, Doc?"

Scarlet blinked a couple of times. "Wait, you promised them what?"

The agent leaned in closer and muttered to her, somewhat panicking again. "You... can do that, can you?"

"Yeah, sure..." she responded, rather hesitantly, before turning to Cloud and the viking couple. "Could I have your emblems for awhile? I'll see how I can help you, and yes, the agency totally screwed this one up, good point."

"Remind me, who's idea was this again?"

"The mayor, I believe. J agrees this is all his fault, you should to."

"Noted," replied R, before addressing the armored ball who had asked him a question. "Well technically, that was what brought you here."

He pointed to the emblem on Meta Knight's mask. "It's something we leave for promising individuals from worlds we have access to. Let me explain, you are currently in a different dimension. Upon discovering a way to cross over to different worlds, we developed this system to seek allies and enable people from across dimensions to communicate. Well, the system is still in development, apparently, but there is another reason why we've decided to do this. You see, any accessible world from Cinix City is possibly under threat, and that clearly includes yours."

LINK

"I don't have an emblem. I think I destroyed mine with my sword. The boyfriend not being your boyfriend situation. If everyone thinks you are a couple, there is clearly something there you two must be in denial. Maybe you should explore it. Exploration is fun. Trust me. Great stress reliever too." She winked at J. "As for the hordes of rampaging monsters, point me in their direction and they will go home wishing they were never born. If they survive. All survivors will of course be missing at least one limb and of course be hunted down like the vermin they are." She was practically giddy at the thought.

HE-MAN, SHE-RA, CLOUD

"There was only one emblem in our castle. We blasted that thing to smithereens." Cloud checks his person. "Nope no emblem here. I may have broken it when I punched it. If Midgar is under threat I must contact them and ensure they know to prepare."

The street had gone eerily silent after the people had fled to safety and the the shadow beast had been destroyed. Raven took a deep breath before standing to her feet, calming the panicked crowd had took more out of her then she realized. Raven turned to the sewer where she had saw the girl disappear down and was considering if she should follow, she was not a hero nor did she owe anything to anyone.

However, her thoughts on the matter came to an end as she felt the emotions of someone near by. Raven turns to where Luna is hiding and says without seeing her. "There is no need to hide, I will not harm you...my name is Raven."

Raven lowers her hood to reveal her dark purple hair and grey eyes. She wears a somber expression as she waits, though she feels weird being being surrounded by tall buildings and technology. She had been in her fathers realm surrounded by horror and misery for so long it was almost too peaceful.

A sudden inhuman screech breaks her out of her thoughts and lowers herself into a defensive position. "What was that!" Raven says showing a bit of emotion.

Meta Knight: Under threat you say?

Meta Knight pondered for a moment about what the agent had just said, if what he was saying was true, then they had just opened Dreamland to threats from all around the multiverse, as if its own universal threats weren't deadly enough. In addition to that, they had also just abducted him from Dreamland, depriving it of its protector as well, and thus making Kirby and Dedede the only ones capable of protecting it. He said grimly to the agent:

Meta Knight: You should have never meddled with things beyond your understanding, now you've thrown everything into chaos and opened the multiverse to an immeasurable number of threats.

Zack's expression brightened. Someone he might know? He wondered who it could be - whether it was his friend Kunsel or perhaps even Angeal his mentor. He showed his excitement with his arms, swinging them and grinning. "Well if they're waiting for us, why don't we go find them. Then, like Miss Elf here said, we can go out and fight some monsters!" He gestured to Link, then cleared his throat, "Miss, I realise we got off on the wrong foot here and I don't even know your name. Can we try starting again?" He held out his strong hand, "I'm Zack, and this here-" he used his free hand to point to Rex, "-is my buddy Rex. We're not from the same place, but it looks like we have the same goals. Here's to teamwork and becoming heroes?"

(Cinix Business District: Skitterback, Lena and Raven) @Lightning @eemmtt

Lena let out an involuntary gasp when the hooded figure turned in her direction and spoke. How did she know she was there? Was this teenage girl a Seijin as well? Though, it was a rather unusual power for a Seijin to have. Lena then considered the possibility of this being a trick of the Sphere, but if so, this girl somehow already knew that she was there, and she was quite confident in her own abilities now that she was under the Sun, should she need to defend herself at any point. Lena stepped out from her hiding place and approached the cloaked girl, who had pulled her hood back to reveal her face. She did not look like anyone she had seen before.

"Raven?" She repeated. "Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Lena."

She had been contemplating on what to say or do next, when a disturbing sound then tore through the silence of the currently-empty street and agitated the both of them. Lena had no idea where she was, but she had the feeling that something bad was about to happen to this place. She gestured to the manhole she had gone through to investigate.

"Something is going on down there, and it doesn't look good. I've been down there, and what I saw was nothing I had ever seen. Someone is working on something I fear may affect the entire block."

Remembering that the strange object in her pocket was the last thing she had touched before she had ended up in this place, she took it out and showed it to 'Raven'.

"I believe this is the symbol of a well-established group on this block. I think it's a good idea to go back and tell them what I saw."

“Become heroes?! Bitch I am the Champion of Hyrule, the Hyrulian Heroine, the Guardian of the Triforce just to name a few of the titles bestowed upon me. I’ve been saving lives since I was only 381 moons old. What were you doing?”

"What? No, you misunderstand. You see, we didn't create this multiverse, it already existed before we discovered it. For awhile now perpetrators from across dimensions have been brought to Cinix with this technology. We've only recently duplicated it for the purpose of sharing our discovery with individuals such as yourself in hopes of forming an inter-dimensional alliance, of sorts. I do apologize if that wasn't clear before."

Scarlet then tapped R on the shoulder after he had finished his explanation to Meta Knight. "We have an issue, they all tell me that their emblems were destroyed when they were teleported here."

R raised an eyebrow in confusion. "How is that possible? I literally found them by their emblems using my locator!"

"Well, that's strange, and quite intriguing. Could we consider that even without them, there was something that-"

The agent then leaned in and interjected in a hushed tone. "Okay, how about we theorize later? Can you help them anyway? I'd really prefer us not to have a viking invasion on our hands."

"Their people don't have access to the city unless we grant it to them, Agent," the scientist whispered back as if it was obvious.

R let out a sigh, remembering that he had said something along those lines himself earlier at the lounge. "Right, sorry. They're just, really convincing, alright?"

"The emblems were meant to serve as pathways between their worlds and ours," Scarlet continued as she moved over to a computer system and began typing. "Without them, I'll just have to attempt locating these dimensions again. So, I'm looking for?"

"Eternia, I believe, and... Midgar."

"Very well, give me a moment..."

Agent M let out a laugh. "Hear that J? Denial."

J rolled here eyes at M before turning to Link. "I appreciate the suggestion, but the people here, they joke, and they speculate. That's all there is."

At least, that was all there was currently. Even if there was something there, now was hardly the time to be pondering over how she and R really felt about each other. There were more significant issues at hand that had grabbed her attention, like how she had been able to see Link's emblem on her locator earlier without it being intact, and introducing the trio to the rest of the group.

"Rampaging monsters are sin problema, my lady! Where I come from, any living thing can turn into one at any time," Rex responded to J smugly, before turning to Zack. "Those are what we call EVOs, since you were asking earlier. Technically, I'm an EVO too, but I just have control over my nanites."

At Link's retort to Zack's friendship invitation J let out a nervous chuckle before speaking again. "Now, let's all be nice, alright? I just want to say a big 'thank you' to all of you for your enthusiasm in wanting to help us."

"If you'll just come with me, I can take you to meet your, uh... friend?" She first said to Zack before addressing Link. "And introduce you to someone who could probably sort out your emblem situation."

She then turned back to the agent in the towel as she left with the group. "I'll see you around M, and don't forget to get dressed!"

LINK

Link winked at M then whispered. "Definitely denial. So sad." She then walked up to J. "You really should cut loose sometime. You are way to uptight, a night of adventuring will do you a lot of good. Besides just because something is a joke doesn't make it false. As for my emblem, no hurry this place looks like a lot of fun. New people to meet and explore."

CLOUD, HE-MAN, & SHE-RA

He-Man stepped into the conversation between R & Scarlet. "You say my Masters can't access the city unless you allow it, yet you need us to deal with problems from various worlds. My wife and I were also told it was possible for threats from our world to come here and threaten this world. Clearly you do not have this place locked down like you now claim. Do not discount the Masters employed by this 'viking' they have access to very advanced technology not to mention the sorcerers. You might want to dispense with the condescension or we might have to reconsider our alliance."

Cloud snickered at He-Man's reaction. "I do believe you have pissed him off. I would also suggest you start paying him the respect due a king, why else would he emphasize the king in viking."

She-Ra was paying most of her attention to the little ball guy. She muttered under her breath. "Weird."

Zack recoiled and held his hands up in defeat, “Well, I was only asking...” He backed off and walked back over to Rex and Agent J. He heard Rex beginning to explain EVOs and thought that the science department would have a field day exploring this guy’s world. He shook his head at the end of his explanation, “Dude, again with the nanites! You’re starting to make me want to see them since they’re so impressive and I never want to see another guy’s nanites unless it’s accidental in a shower.. wait,” he winced, “Oh that’s just worse! Now you’ve got me started!”

Zack only stopped worrying to look at Agent J who had approached him. She looked ready to go so he followed her. He heard her mention the emblems and produced his from his pocket as he walked alongside her. “Hey, I still have my emblem if that helps? I didn’t attack mine, I kinda tried to wear it, so it’s still all in one piece.” He showed it to her.

Raven looks at the device in Lena's palm and realizes that she had the same device with the symbol on it, she takes it out and compares it to the other. "They are the same, you must be one of the people they pulled another dimensions. You are right it would be a good idea to report this to the agents, they would know what to do from here," she says matter-of-factly. She places the device back into her pocket and holds her hand out to Lena. "It will be much faster to travel through the shadows, if you do not mind of course." she says waiting for the girls hand, though, she did not need to have contact with her to teleport.

The two would be surrounded within her shadowy soul-self and they would appear back within the room she had left, she had hope that the others had settled down by the time she had gotten back and it would seem the more annoying few were gone, though, they all were annoying if she was honest.

Raven calmly walked over to R and tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. "It seems there is something going on with in the city, I was able to destroy these shadow creatures and calm the civilians but it would seem Lena seen something more troubling in the sewers..." Raven reported then turned to motion to the young girl.

On the edge of the Koprulu Sector was a planet, an ordinary planet, one that had life, but not sentient life, didn't have any rare or important resources, and didn't stand out at all. Nobody would care about it, and that's why Abathur chose it.

It had been a few weeks since he and his own swarm landed on the planet, they had dealt with the world's surprisingly hostile fauna and were reduced in numbers, only Abathur, 7 drones and 3 zerglings remained.

Local fauna. Impressive combat capabilities, large adaptive potential. Introduction into swarm could prove benefivial. Could not acquire sample, dissapointed.

He sought to hide on a nearby mountain, perhaps in one of the cave systems and start a hive there to reinforce the Zerg presence and gather samples from the fauna. As they reached the temple, Abathur noticed something odd in a nearby cave. It seemed to be a portal of some kind, similar to the ones of the protoss, although he sensed that this particular one seemed... different. His curiosity took the better of him as he moved into the portal as his minions followed him. The portal then dissapeared, leaving no trace of the Zerg behind.

"I seem to have a knack for that," R admitted at Cloud's words as he nodded wearily, before glancing at the busy scientist and muttering. "Not that she's helping."

"The threats that we face are solely due to the actions of the party who created this technology. Again, I apologize if that wasn't clear. It is highly unlikely that they would attempt to recruit honorable people such as your own," he then said to He-Man. "We truly appreciate your consideration of our offer."

As he was speaking, he did not notice a bunch of shadows suddenly appear in the room before vanishing, leaving the two girls that had slipped the agents' minds amidst all the chaos. He spun around to face Raven when he felt her tap and listened to what she had to say. Although relieved that they were both safely back at HQ, he then smacked himself in the head after learning that there had been an attack they had been unaware of due to their own little chaos at the base.

Meanwhile, Lena was still getting over the bewilderment that the older girl's powers had caused her. She did not know of any Seijins who could teleport the way Raven just had. Furthermore, Seijin energy had always manifested as light and never shadows, regardless of the user's alignment. She snapped out of it when Raven gestured to her, prompting her to tell the agent what she had seen.

"There is something being build underground that I fear may put the entire block in danger," she began. "It looked like... a gateway of some kind. I have never seen anything like it before in my life."

Block? That was when R remembered, where Lena had come from, people lived on blocks of solid land which floated in an endless sky. "Alright, thank you, both of you, for your help. I'll be sure to call for an investigation."

Rex was once again confused at why Zack got so flustered over the mention of nanites, and continued talking as the group left the shower area. "In a shower? Why would I- Oh, wait... I actually did have to use my powers when I was in the shower once. We were under attack and these guys just couldn't wait for me to get out to fight me."

At more of Link's advice, J nodded. "You know what, I am so taking tonight off and going out to enjoy myself after dealing with all this. I deserve it, we all do."

She then turned to Zack with a thumbs up. "Awesome! That'll save us some time. It'll be your ride back here no matter where you are."

Upon reaching the lab where she remembered leaving Cloud, she was stunned to see that everyone else who had appeared on her locator had already gathered in the room. "Wow, what a party. How's it going, R?"

Just then, Scarlet looked up from her screen. "Bingo!"

A couple of new emblems materialized on a holographic film beside the monitor. Seeing that, J jerked her thumb at Link. Oh, that reminds me, we need another one back to Hyrule too, but no worries, this lady's in no rush."

"I believe your group has been briefed?"

"Somewhat."

"Wonderful, because we now have to conduct an investigation out in the city. Apparently we missed an alert with everything else going on."

"Oh no! We'll probably get more information back at Main Ops."

CLOUD, LINK, HE-MAN, SHE-RA

“Damn!” Link turned to the closest agent and whispered. “Please tell me those gods are into adventuring.” She lost all interest in the agents she had been flirting with earlier because she was solely focused on He-Man & She-Ra.

Cloud saw Zack. He didn’t trust these people yet and if this was Zack he was going to force them to save Aerith if it wasn’t Zack but some cheap imitation he was going to burn their base down with all the bastards in it including that cheap copy.

He-Man gently approached the girls. “Take us there. We will slaughter everything that threatens this city.” Link jumped in. “I’m going too.”

Cloud had no interest in going right now. He was only interested in Zack or this imposter.

Meta Knight listened to the agent's words and removed the emblem from his mask, he stared at it for a few moments before tapping it using his gloved hand. He fumbled with it some more before he accidentally activated a switch.

Suddenly, a small portal appeared below Meta Knight and sucked him in, dissapearing right after. He soon found himself on the bridge of the Halberd surrounded by his subordinates, where they claimed a portal had dropped him in there suddenly. He sighed in relief as he was back in his home dimension, able to protect it from harm once again.

(Cinix Business District - Sewer) @eemmtt @Metatrooper

The yellow-eyed hooded figure reappeared to find Skitterback in his rather undignified state. A sigh escaped from its lips, before a portal opened in the area and poured out a group of arthropodal creatures.

"Ah, I see you've made it," it began, addressing Abathur. Don't mind this fellow over here, his coherence shall return in due time. Welcome to Cinix. Once you go above ground, you'll find this a lovely place. How would you like to run it, together? I'll give you some time to think about my offer."

It then moved over to inspect the half-finished gateway. "Interesting, but will this technology work across dimensions? I think not. Perhaps this might help."

The figure pulled out a larger version of Abathur and Skitterback's emblems and left it by the gateway, before turning back to Abathur and pointing to the one he was carrying. "If you wish to contact me again, there's always that."

With that, the hooded individual vanished into the shadows.

Zack started to feel a little uneasy around Rex. He wasn't sure whether he was trying to tell Zack something or if he had the wrong end of the stick here, "So you're saying both men and women are interested in your nanites? Because that's cool but... I think I'd only be interested in women fighting for mine."

As they entered the new room, Zack turned away from Rex and frowned when he didn't see anybody he recognised. Maybe the agents had gotten something mixed up in their data or there was someone that knew him rather than the other way around. He could feel eyes fixed on him and looked across to a man who's hair was styled in sharp blonde spikes not unlike his own. He was giving Zack some kind of death glare and he was about to ask who the man was, when he heard the Agents, Link and the others in the room talking about a problem in the city. It was what they had been brought in for and he was ready to show that he was a hero. He turned to the agents and nodded, "You can count my sword too." he said.

As Abathur and his swarm emerged from the portal, he imme began taking in information. Abathur first saw the hooded figure, he mostly focused on the figure's biology rather than his speech and soon he was making predictions and thinking of what biological potential he could gather.

Unknown lifeform. Humanoid but not Terran, strange energy. Too weak to face him, will take samples later.

He then faced Skitterback and his work, examining them from a distance.

Unknown lifeform, mammal-like, inferior but still superior to Terran, must obtain sample for swarm. Large energy emminating, cannot fight, will return later with better swarm.

Abathur turned back to the hooded figure, fortunately, he still heard what it had said. He simply stared at it, not moving until the figure left. He then ordered the drones to carry the large emblem with them as they disappeared through one of the paths of the sewer.

After travelling a fair distance, the swarm found a suitable place to start a base. Abathur instructed one drone to morph into a hatchery, the heart of a Zerg base that could spawn larvae, which could then morph into Zerg creatures



He instructed the other to morph into an evolution chamber, which served as Abathur's workplace and where he could make new strains of zerg and improve on existing ones.



The rest of the drones were sent to forage for food, while the zerglings were split between escorting the drones and protecting the base.

CLOUD

Cloud grabbed one of the kidnappers and took her out into the hall. “What the fuck are you people into? That thing looks an awful lot like my friend Zack, who is dead, been that way for years. That thing didn’t even recognize me. I want answers now!” Every offensive Materia on his watch began to glow.

As the ratman came down from his high he was hit with a glorious inspiration. The warlock-engineer could simple power the gate himself. Cackling like a mad ratman Skitterback felt something fall out of his robe. He took a look and spotted a his emblem on the ground. The skaven's reaction he simply took the emblem and shoved it into the a place on the gate. Summoning forth the power of the horn rat and blasted the gate with his magic. The gate shuttered to life as a sickly green portal open.

Quickly crossing through the portal, Skitterback was able reassert his power. Gathering his verminous horde and lead them back through. Once return back to the sewer they were sent to work excavating the area to create Skaven borrows. All under the watchful eye of Skitterback.
