Free time is scarce and as such, I'll likely give what little I have once every week (this can be indefinite since work is unpredictable at best). However, should absences occur in the future (which it will tbqh) I'll do my best to let you know. Additionally, my muse isn't always intact. So there might be some instances where I'm free but don't have the impulse to translate thoughts into words. I hope you'll have a similar understanding of this.
______________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ Do PM me if there's something here that stirred your interest. Whether it'd be a plot I've conjured or something else, I'm all open! Just make sure that once you PM me, your interest shows. I'm not asking for a paragraphed essay stating your interest. I'm sure you got the point, right? Also, please administer some common sense and civility especially if we're to delve into mature or political themes. I'm not looking for meaningless discussions/debates that will not benefit the time I'll be investing into.

You wake up cold, numb and with no memory of any prior events. You wonder how you got to this place. An abandoned ... hotel, it seems like. The place reek of molds and copper, as if the place has been run down for years, perhaps even more than a decade.
As you get up, mystified, you start to notice an unlikeness from the things you come across to. Mechanical parts which you assume to belong from a robot of some sort, holographic screens glitching in and out of adjacent walls, IVR systems cracking static-y noises whenever you enter a different room. It's like you've awoken at a different time. How are these kinds of technologies here anyway?
You find a mobile-like device and, due to your unruly curiosity, press the button that you see at its center part. It flickers to life, and it seems to be working properly. For now, at least.
Then, a holographic dashboard flashes before your eyes. Symbols and words blink in a pattern you're barely familiar of. Even your comprehension can't catch up to the words floating around the screen.
"Hello? Marcus? where the fuck are you?" A male voice calls and you jump in surprise from the unexpected occurrence. Who is Marcus? and why is it asking where he is? Your name is not even Marcus.
When you glance over to your side, you realize who it might be. A corpse lay cold on the ground, blood splattered in a pool of crimson red. Its head is missing and worst of all, the body appears to be constricted by metallic appendages that ooze black slime from an undetermined circuitry.
"I-I think he's dead." You stutter in fear as you find yourself lost in the mere moments that are unfolding.
You've lost them. Your wife, two children, everything that made you cling on to hope, all gone. Nevertheless, your world hasn't ended yet. You still have the family's house and you've sworn to protect it until your last breath dissipates into nothingness.
You've established a rule: no one sets foot into your property. Not an inch nor step beyond the barricaded fence you've built. Anyone who crosses the line, dies. You shoot them, quick and simple and no questions asked.
When a distressed woman runs for her life from murderous bandits and seeks refuge, you are given a decision to make on either throwing her to the wolves or take her in and put the remnants of your loved ones in peril. Of course, you chose to be the hero. You made quick work to put a bullet in each of her assailant's head as you let her in.
The woman was thankful that you took the plea, but was she worth saving? is she one of them? and is only here to strike at the perfect opportunity?

The war is over but that doesn't mean your life goes back to normal. You are, after all, a deserter and you're well-aware how quick your kind is sorted on sight. Regardless, it's not like there's something you can return to. These past years have been in vain, nothing in you seems to hold any more value. You can flee, leave your irremediable existence behind and start anew on faraway lands. Yes, that seems to be the only way. Even your shattered soul agrees to it.
As you arrive at a town outside the borders of your home city, you come across a man (or a woman) with a noticeably familiar agenda as you interact with them. The person looks like ragged filth and wears an appearance that has seen better days. You then find out that the person is a runaway slave and the slavemaster has been rumoured to be around town, finding those who escaped his caravan cell. You overhear conversations from the common tavern folk of a price the slavemaster is offering if one aids to find one of his escaped slaves.
With little gold left to pay for an extra mug of ale, you soon consider pursuing what the slavemaster seeks. Yet, as someone who aligns to the same circumstance, will you shackle down your moral compass and turn the slave in or are you going to do something in favour of the ones being pursued such as yourself?

Now my interests aren't all limited to post-apocalyptic and dark fantasy plots. I can definitely go for other categories provided I'm in the mood for them. You can present your own plots, but don't expect me to be immediately on board. I also don't do fandoms and romance RPs. Ever. Like really, I don't.
Anyway, I might be looking for one or two partners only. If I can foresee a slot for a third one based on my posting frequencies, then I'll just put a bump on this thread whenever. Happy writing!
