Cyril grunted in surprise when Daisuke took his elbow, spinning both of them around as if they were drunken Irishmen. The thought made him blush. He hated being the center of attention... and he was sure that if people were around them, they would be stared at. The black haired boy was relieved when the idiot let go of him, and he was about to say something else when something struck him across the face. It was then that Cyril stared at Daisuke. Did... Did he just... smack him? His fists tightened and he began to shake. I have... to keep... calm... I can't hit him... I'll get in trouble... I'll have to stay in school longer... but he had basically hit him first. He could tell the teachers that... and so, a grin split across his lips as he raised a fist, and attempted to punch him straight in the face.

He supposed that he could have held himself back a bit longer... but he just couldn't have Daisuke hitting him! Even if someone from the future told him to.

Fionn was eating his food when someone walked up to him. His amber eyes lifted up from his meal and blinked at the pale haired girl. he recognized her from his class, and he dropped his gaze to his food again, his cheeks flushing a very vibrant color of red. [i]Why did someone have to come and bother me now? It’s bad enough that the teacher called on him to read a paragraph from their text book while everyone stared at him, but now she had to come and talk to him as well? He heaved a sigh and looked at her again. his voice was soft and weak sounded, as if he was sick. But in reality, he was just shy.

"D...do you mind if I eat with you?" She said barely above a whisper with a shy blush when those amber eyes melted her heart. I hope he doesn't turn me away. I feel bad about what Mr. Dondar did to him. She smiled and twisted her pale hair why did I have to be born with this stupid white hair it makes me look wrong. She stared at him for a moment before she realized she was staring and looked away. She then began to play wit the edge of her shirt. Anything to just occupy her mind some what while waiting on the answer she fears will come.

She was asking to sit with him. Fionn flinched and looked down at his meal. Great... Just great. He wanted to be alone... he wasn't used to all of this attention, even if it was just one person. But he couldn't be rude to her. Angel was nice. Well... her little bout with the teacher was a bit... too much for him. "Um... sure." he choked out, sitting up straighter and glancing to the side. I sure hope that she doesn't ask many questions... what am I supposed to say? he couldn't speak well when it came to talking with strangers. As she stood there, he waited for her to sit down. "... s-so. You stormed... you ran out of class today..."

She was ecstatic when he said she could. She sat quietly before he spoke about her tantrum where she stormed off in the middle of class. "I am so sorry about that." Where before her cheeks were pink now her entire face had turned red. "Yeah he wasn't teaching anything I didn't know so I thought i could just leave." She had a small smile on her face as she explained herself.

When a waitress went by she flagged her down to get a cup of tea, and a plate of Alfredo. "You did a really good job reading in class." She was trying to maintain simple conversation with him.

"Hmm, I still wonder who it- GUP-" Daisuke had been rubbing his chin and temporarily donned the face of a sophisticated theorist for the moment before Cyril's fist cracked against his jaw, sending him a few steps back and landing on his back, the Ten Year Bazooka flying out of his bag once more and spinning in the air above the boy, who didn't seem to notice as he sat up.

"That was a good slap! I felt it- YAA!" Daisuke screamed as the Ten Year Bazooka slammed onto his skull, falling back as the bazooka rolled off to the side and he was knocked temporarily unconscious.

Raniero shrugged once Cyril shook his head at the notion that Daisuke was a criminal. "One out of two. Good enough," he said. It seemed Cyril didn't get that he had included him in that too. Though, what he didn't know wouldn't hurt Rani, after all. Not having anything else to do, the young man just watched on. He didn't know why he was on the receiving end of a glare from Cyril. It wasn't as if he had been the one talking about this 'Ten Year Bazooka' loudly. As the scene went on, Rani chuckled a bit at the fact that Daisuke just slapped Cyril in the face. It was quite the entertaining scenario, the two frolicking in the hall with such whimsy before the less intimidating of the two slapped the other.

Of course, if he knew anything about Cyril, it would probably be that he wouldn't let that slide. Unsurprisingly, someone got punched in the face.

"Think that was too hard," Raniero noted bluntly, nudging Daisuke's unconscious form with his crutch, "out cold. Impressive though. To cause object to fly from a bag. Fell with force to incapacitate." The white-haired cripple looked to the side at the pink bazooka beside him. It looked a lot like a toy instead of some magical time travelling device. He hobbled over to the weapon and picked it up. After turning it over a few times in order to accurately analyze it, he looked up a Cyril and did his best to hold the thing up. "This that Ten Year Bazooka?" he asked nonchalantly before looking down into the barrel off the bazooka. "Wonder..." he said, pushing the trigger with his crutch.

'Click'

It seemed that the device hadn't been loaded. Honestly it was to be expected, bazookas were one shot weapons.

Oh God, did she really mean that? Fionn smiled at her, albeit his smile was a bit weak. It wasn’t like he didn’t like her, or if he felt something for her. It was just that human interaction frightened the hell out of him, especially when it was a girl like Angel. He swallowed roughly and pulled at his collar, glancing to the side. She had said that she liked how he had read in class. She’s just trying to be nice, Fionn. You should be nice as well, unless you want enemies. he told himself before looking back at her. Her hair was a powdery white, and her eyes just as amber as his.

”I’m… glad you think that way.” Fionn replied, forcing his smile to become bigger. ”I’m… not that much into being the center of attention… as you can see… I rather stay to the side while someone else reads… But I guess that I kinda have to read at times to get a good grade. It’s not… it’s not like the professor has to read, heh.” he looked down at his meal and put the rest of it in his mouth. There had to be something other than reading passages out loud in classrooms… maybe he should just ask his brother if he could join the family business. He would always be hesitant, however his answer would always be β€˜no’ at the end. ”So… what are you doing after school, Angel?”
Cyril watched as Daisuke fell to the ground, huffing in annoyance. That would be enough, for now at least. His punch did not knock the Japanese boy out, but the Bazooka did. It fell upon his head, making him fall over, unconscious. The dark haired boy sighed, tucking his hands into his pockets and scowling down at the still form. It wasn’t often that one saw him that way. It was just that Daisuke was apparently good at pissing him off really quickly. Raniero walked up to the purple Bazooka, and looked inside of it, pulling the trigger. The action made Cyril flinchβ€”if too many people bounced back and forth between past and future, then things could get ugly.

”Give me that.” he grabbed the lip of the weapon and pulled it toward him, attempting to get it out of Raniero’s hands. ”That belongs in my handsβ€”at least for now, anyway. I’ll bring it home and look around to see who the real owner is.” he tugged it away, and placed it in his bag. It was surprisingly light, it being a weapon and all. Glancing over at Daisuke, he thought about what to do. ”We should get him to the nurse’s office and then get back to class.” he stated blandly. ”I don’t want to be yelled at.”

And with that, he finished the last of his chocolate bar and walked over to Daisuke. Cyril looked down at him, wondering how he could carry him. He hadn’t carried anyone before… maybe logs and other things, but not a floppy, idiotic Japanese boy. He grabbed his arms and hauled him upright, before finally lifting him up from the ground. Daisuke was… heavy, to say the least. Cyril grunted as he staggered towards the nurse’s office, expecting Raniero to follow.

When the teacher showed up and quickly left on his own David wondered where "Daisuke" was. But before he could say anything about that, Jakki asked how he just seemd to turn invisible. Of course he had been expecting the question, but that didn't mean he had already figured out how to answer it. He really wondered if he should just tell her everything. Sure she was asking for a single hint now, but since that wouldn't actually explain anything she probably would keep bothering him about it.After a while he decided to just tell her. "Don't tell anyone else. You remember how I said that I was willing to believe Mr Swimtrunks was a future Daisuke because I have seen some crazy things myself? What I was talking about is the fact that I can somehow create Illusions, just now rather then turn invisible I simply made it seem like my hiding spot was empty."

David hoped this simple explanation that made it seem like he didn't really understand it himself was enough.Just to be sure though and avoid any more questions he left the room as soon as he finished talking and headed to the nearest boys bathroom knowing Jakki probably wouldn't follow him there. As he passed the nurse's office he saw Cyrus or whatever his name heading that way while carrying the fifteen year old Daisuke on his shoulder. Once again David's curiosity got the better of him, so he decided to wait and ask Daisuke what was going on.

Jakki opened her mouth to ask another question about David's powers, but he was gone. "Man… my classmates sure come from weird places…" she stood and brushed off her clothes, only to remember that she'd left her bag back where she'd been eating. With a frustrated sigh, Jakki walked back and grabbed it. Thankfully everything was still inside and intact. She slung it back over her shoulder and hurried back inside, since it was likely that the bell to return would be ringing any minute now and she had to ask the teacher to move seats.

She wanted to be near this Daisuke, even if it meant sitting near Cyril, and find out what exactly was going on. It was all sorts of crazy, a man in swim shorts suddenly spewing nonsense about them being friends. She wished that she knew what was going on, but she knew that she might not be able to get the truth from him. As she was deep in thought, she passed Cyril and the others in the hall. She didn't even notice when she did, she was so worried and deep in thought that it consumed all of her thoughts.

"Yeah why can't he ever do the reading." She said with a smile trying hard to flirt without him noticing. Her skin tone had crawled back to normal shades of pink. The Waitress came by with her cup of tea. She took a sip nervously. Turn it calm She took in a deep breath through her nose then slowly let it out of her mouth counting backwards from five. When she finished she felt much more relaxed. "You really are a nice guy." Then he asked about what she was doing after school. "Uhhhh..." Was all she could really say as the blood flooded away from her brain and into her cheeks. "I really don't have plans." Was what she managed to say after regaining her composure.
"what about you?" SHe asked him.

After a couple of minutes the Waitress came back with her food. She picked up the fork and began to struggle to eat her food. Every second her skin turned more and more red. Her hands shook so much just trying to get the food onto the fork.

Fionn blinked in surprise when he found that the girl was blushing much more than he was. Was she just as anti-social as him? Just the thought made him nervous enough to start fumbling with his fork as he finished off the rest of his meal. Do I have plans today? he asked himself, tipping his head to the side and frowning slightly. Well, I have to get back home at a certain time… my father wants me to do something for him, but I don’t know what. ”My dad needs me at home at a certain hour. I don’t know what for, but…” he glanced away, looking at the clock on the wall. When he saw what time it was, he leapt from the table and blinked. ”Oh no, we’ll be late to class.” he told her, placing his money and a small tip for the waitress on the table.

He usually didn’t get so worked up about getting to class, but when he was late, he would get in big trouble with his father. The blond haired boy looked down at Angel, frowning in worry. ”Come on, Angel. We have to go.” he told her impatiently. ”I don’t want to be late again.”

"Huh?"

Daisuke woke with a start, almost falling off of the side of a bed. He blinked, looking around to see that he was in his pig sty of a room. Confused, he turned to the clock beside him and read the time, seeing that it was after school hours. He rubbed his aching head, unable to remember exactly when and how he had gotten home; he couldn't even remember class. Beside his comfortable yet untidy bed, was a school bag with nothing but the few books he had. And then, it hit him. The Ten Year Bazooka! Where is it?!

"Crap!" Daisuke ran both of his hands through his brown hair, simulating the act of pulling it off of his head. He tripped over a pile of clothing as he fell into the hallway, scramming around his house in search for the purple machine as he ran back to his closet, opening it to reveal the note and box of its ammunition. "Where did it go?!"
"Good evening, madam," A tall man tipped his fedora in greetings as the woman responded to his knocking, adorned in a suit as black as his hair. There was a distinctly sinister air surrounding the man as he lowered his head enough so that his eyes were unseen. "I've come on official business regarding one by the name of Cyril Leggieri, whom I believe is your niece. But first, may I come in?"

"Nephew," the woman tilted her head slightly, sighing as she shook her head, almost as if she were disappointed. "That Cyril, always getting into trouble..." she mumbled to herself, smiling at the man and nodding. "Sure. Follow me."

"Thank you." He quietly shut the door behind him as he entered the household, completely uninterested in the layout as the they trailed towards the dining table. The woman spoke to him, "Let me finish the espresso, then we can talk."

"Take your time, madam." The man replied, digging into his pocket and pulling out a pocket watch as she pranced back into the kitchen. Sighing, he opened it to check the time and placed it onto the table just as quickly as he had taken it out, cupping his hands together on his lap and waiting somewhat patiently.

Cyril sighed heavily as he made his way home. Every time he left school, he would always take long to get home. His aunt didn't mind much, though. She knew that he needed some air at times. He really just walked around the block a few times. He thought a lot, too, and he did a lot of thinking right then and there. Why did Daisuke have the Ten Year Bazooka? It shouldn't be in his hands. he thought, running a hand through his hair as he walked up to the door. He pulled out his keys and unlocked it before opening it and stepping inside.

He bristled when he realized that there was another person in his home. Not one that he knew. It was obvious that it was a stranger by the time he reached the dining room. It was a man in a fedora hat and suit. Did they come for me?

No. This man really couldn't be a mafioso, could he? Maybe it was just his imagination. Cyril narrowed his eyes and gripped his book bag tighter, stepping around the man to get a better look at his face. Hmmm... "Who are you?" he questioned bluntly, narrowing his eyes. "And what do you want with us?"

It was true that Cyril was overprotective of his aunt, but she really was the only thing he had left. He had abandoned his father and mother in Lipari and fled straight to her. If something happened... he would have nowhere to go. He continued to look at the man, awaiting his answer.

David spent the rest of the schoolday avoiding Jakki and her no doubt many questions. On the other hand he also didn't get the chance to talk to Daisuke, but there was always the next day. As soon as school ended he rushed to his bike and rode straight to home. The ride home was slightly longer then the ride to the pizzeria he took during lunch, but since David was going as fast it took him less time. When he got home he was completely out of breath, but at least he could be reasonably sure Jakki wouldn't bother him here. After catching his breath David put his bike in the shed in the backyard and entered the house through the back door.

As always the first thing David did once inside was letting his mother know he was home. "Hey mom I'm home!" There were actually two reasons for this, the obvious one was to tell his mother, but the other one was that this way he could immediately check if she was there or not. Since he didn't get an answer it meant that at least for now he was home alone and thus could basically do whatever he wanted.Whatever he wanted in this case was use the computer and see what he could discover about time travel.

Jakki walked home, and went inside after fumbling with her keys for a moment. She hadn't seen Daisuke after this morning, so she still had questions, but decided not to bother with them since he didn't want to answer them apparently. Maybe it was just his brother running around being annoying. She sighed and walked inside, grabbing her bat and heading back outside and locking the door behind her. Her mother wasn't home, so the only reason she had to be there was to grab her bat. She slung it back over her shoulder, feeling better as she did so. It was an old habit and if she pretended that everything was still the same...

Jakki shook her head and walked onward towards practice. She felt like she'd hit a wall, she couldn't go through it to get better and she was stuck in the same place using all her same moves. She mainly relied on getting close and hitting vital areas. If they got behind her, she'd have to react quicker than their kick, which more often than not hit her. She was expecting to get hit, of course, but it left such an opening that she ended up on the mat and open for more attacks. She was failing. Just thinking about it made her frustrated, and out of a need to relax, Jakki punched the wall nearest to her. The jarring pain helped clear her mind somewhat. She needed to get better. Dad expected her to be better and stronger, and she was failing.

"Hm?" The man snapped out of his thoughts, raising his head a few inches to catch a glimpse of the newcomer. A smile curved upon his lips as he folded his arms together, the woman returning to the dining room soon with a cup of espresso in her hands. She almost jumped at Cyril's return, as if she was taken by surprise.

"We have a guest," She smiled as she offered the man the cup. He mumbled a quiet thank you and accepted, taking a short sip of the espresso and placing it on the table. He shifted his chair in the direction of Cyril, one leg crossed over the other as he only raised his head enough to observe the boy. No wonder why I thought this was a girl in the picture. "Ah, Mister Leggieri. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

The man cupped his hands together, turning to the woman for a moment. "May you please leave us to a private discussion, madam?"

"Of course," she replied, her face a bit concerned but nonetheless returning to the kitchen.

"Now," the man cleared his throat as she left them, relaxed in the chair. He eyed the book bag in Cyril's hands, smiling at the boy. He knew it was there, but he wanted to test the boy's honesty for a moment. "I'm sure you know of a recent exchange student by the name of Daisuke Honda." the ends of both sets of his fingers pressed against one another, deciding to be rather straightforward. "The Ten Year Bazooka was under his possession until this afternoon. Would you have a clue as to where it is, Mister Leggieri?"
Daisuke was freaking the hell out.

He had searched everywhere in the entire house, and found nothing. He even asked his caretaker, Miss Kamenka, and the entire conversation on the purple toy-like bazooka had somehow ended up in a debate about which animal looked the cutest.

Sighing heavily, Daisuke quickly changed out of his school clothes and into a pair of plain jeans, a white T-shirt with a hoodie of the same shade, kicking up dust behind him as he ran towards the school. If he wanted the answers, wouldn't returning to the source of the issue itself be the best bet to find them?

This was a shady man. He didn't answer his questions and he continued on to what he wanted to say. His aunt made an appearance for a moment before the man asked her to leave the room. Who is this? He can't just be some normal man. Cyril thought. He was classy and clean cut. Exactly like one of them. "Ten Year Bazooka? he repeated. Should he tell the truth or not? Maybe he could simply hide it. But what would he want with it, exactly?

In the end, Cyril pulled the weapon out from his bag. It was surprisingly light... Maybe because it had no ammunition? He held it out to the man. "Daisuke started to misuse it in school, so I took it." he explained. "Already shot himself with it."

Before the man could take it, however, he pulled it close to him. His eyes narrowed and a scowl flit across his lips. "I was honest to you. Now, it's your turn. Who are you? How do you know my name?"

The man opened his mouth in an 'ahh' as Cyril revealed the Ten Year Bazooka from the book bag, his arms returning to his sides as he stood from the chair and stood a full head taller than the boy. He looked down at him, a fake smile on his face. "So he has, has he?" the man spoke in a question, nodding concurrently. He scratched the back of his neck and brought out a cell phone from the inside of his suit, swiping the screen a few times and nodding as he stopped at a mugshot comparison of Cyril and another person. He looked up at the boy in person and the picture in deep thought, placing it back in his suit.

He was about to speak until Cyril brought up honesty, and requested to learn of his identity and how he knew the boy. He simply smiled, his thumb and index finger lacing at the front of his fedora as he tipped it slightly forward. "I'm a fireman," he replied with his typical yet unusual pseudonym. "Judging from the knowledge that you and I possess of the Ten Year Bazooka's existence, there's no questions needed to be asked, Mister Leggieri."

Cyril huffed at Hajime, crossing his arms. So... he was a Mafioso. But... what was he doing here? Was he just picking up the Ten Year Bazooka, or did he want something else? The black haired boy glowered at him, standing his ground. "Then you should get the hell out. I don't like your kind." maybe it was because of his past and how he was forced to become one of them. Or maybe it was because he was jealous of them having a bigger family? All he had at the moment was his aunt... "You have what you want. Now go. Shoo."

The man smirked at the boy's disrespect towards him, allowing it to flow perfectly for the news to come as he prepared for the announcement. Beforehand, he ran a brief inspection on the Ten Year Bazooka, making sure that it was really unloaded and nodding in approval. Holding it at his side, he tipped his hat in a thanks, though afterwards he bent over and spoke into Cyril's ear.

"Cyril Leggieri, you and your aunt are being targeted by another Famiglia," he quietly mumbled, his eyes staring into the hallway for a moment before he stood upright again. "It's been a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mister Leggieri."

"I'm sorry," Cyril's aunt stepped into the dining room again, seeing that the man was standing and blinking at the purple bazooka in his hand, giggling at the sight of an adult holding a 'toy for children'. "Are you finished with your cup?"

The man turned to her, bowing with a smile underneath the shadow of his hat. "Yes," he answered, turning to Cyril and nodding before looking back at his aunt. "In fact, I was just about to excuse myself. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Oooh~" Cyril's aunt was taken aback by the sudden gesture of respect, a pink blush on her cheeks. She went to where he had sat and picked up his empty cup, smiling back at the man. "There's no need for flattery. I'm just doing my job."

"You're good at it," The man casually flirted before he turned to the hallway, raising his other hand in a backwards wave goodbye. "Ciao! Don't spoil young Leggieri, now. Wouldn't want them growing up this way." And with that, the man walked down the hall, and made his exit.
