Obviously, John did not seem please to be preached to, the eye roll really gave it away. He did take the time to justify his reasons for doing drugs, instead of just telling her to fuck off. Olivia's expression turns serous again and she fixes John with a sharp gaze.
"John, I"m only giving you this little speech because I want to give you a chance. True, I'm not a fan of drugs, but I don't judge or look down on people who do it. Everyone has a vice, but sometimes those vices get out of control. You could have a perfect handle on your habit, but it only takes one bad trip, one OD to send you to the morgue." Their appointment was running over, Olivia retrieves a plain white card from her pocket and places it in his hand. "Look, if you are in trouble, or need some help just call the clinic. There is even a extension number for patients that need to reach me." Olivia fixes John with a smile before she stands. "Oh, and how about 'don't smoke it while you stroke it'" She shrugs, "Kinda appropriate, don't ya think." She opens to door to the examination room and steps aside to let John pass with a slight nod of her head "Until next time John."

"Yo, can we get a stretcher?" The verbose orderly hollows as the two men bring Vince inside. A wheeled bed is brought from the somewhere in the back with a nurse leading it. The two scrubs don't give a one two three, they just lift Vince, carefully placing him on his back. The nurse and one of the orderlies wheel the half-conscious man to an examination room in the back, the nurse trying to get the man talking.
"Can I get your name honey? What was the last thing you remember? When was the last time you ate?" She fires off the questions to keep him awake as well as narrowing down what was wrong with him. Most of the damage appear to be in his face. Bruising to the eye, lacerations along the check.. Dehydration was present as well, with maybe a few fractured ribs.
"Someone took a liking to you, didn't they?" She mumbles to herself before addressing the orderly. "Lets get him on a IV drip, he's dehydrated."
