Olivia
Free Clinic

Obviously, John did not seem please to be preached to, the eye roll really gave it away. He did take the time to justify his reasons for doing drugs, instead of just telling her to fuck off. Olivia's expression turns serous again and she fixes John with a sharp gaze.
"John, I"m only giving you this little speech because I want to give you a chance. True, I'm not a fan of drugs, but I don't judge or look down on people who do it. Everyone has a vice, but sometimes those vices get out of control. You could have a perfect handle on your habit, but it only takes one bad trip, one OD to send you to the morgue." Their appointment was running over, Olivia retrieves a plain white card from her pocket and places it in his hand. "Look, if you are in trouble, or need some help just call the clinic. There is even a extension number for patients that need to reach me." Olivia fixes John with a smile before she stands. "Oh, and how about 'don't smoke it while you stroke it'" She shrugs, "Kinda appropriate, don't ya think." She opens to door to the examination room and steps aside to let John pass with a slight nod of her head "Until next time John."

clinic waiting room
"Yo, can we get a stretcher?" The verbose orderly hollows as the two men bring Vince inside. A wheeled bed is brought from the somewhere in the back with a nurse leading it. The two scrubs don't give a one two three, they just lift Vince, carefully placing him on his back. The nurse and one of the orderlies wheel the half-conscious man to an examination room in the back, the nurse trying to get the man talking.
"Can I get your name honey? What was the last thing you remember? When was the last time you ate?" She fires off the questions to keep him awake as well as narrowing down what was wrong with him. Most of the damage appear to be in his face. Bruising to the eye, lacerations along the check.. Dehydration was present as well, with maybe a few fractured ribs.
"Someone took a liking to you, didn't they?" She mumbles to herself before addressing the orderly. "Lets get him on a IV drip, he's dehydrated."

Fae Rogers
Streetside, Central Slums

A few thin ribbons of smoke wafted through the dank slum air, twirling and writhing in the narrow early afternoon shadow of another sketchy building, before breaking out into the sunlight and dispersing into oblivion. They were followed by another few wisps of vapor, which trailed lazily from the dry lips of a certain person as she leaned up against the dirty brick wall. Fae stared off into the distance, her gaze following the smoke as it drifted out into the air and further dirtied it. A piece of faded graffiti framed the left half of her face, and one boot was propped up against the rough surface of the wall that barely irritated her back as she slumped back into it. A sprightly ring of smoke passed her lips, and she closed one eye to peer through the quickly disappearing circle. Coincidentally, that line of sight just happened to have her gaze land on a figure making it's way down the street towards her resting place.

Tapping the flaky ashes from the end of her cigarette, Fae glanced at the approaching person with a glint of interest in her dull eyes. Despite the guarded way they walked, and the hood pulled up to obscure a good part of their face, she could tell the person was female, and not especially threatening in stature. She considered what course of action to take at the moment. It was the middle of the day, light enough out, and being a rather small female of partial Asian descent, it was obvious that Fae wasn't all that menacing when she had no reason to be. After running a few errands, her bag of spoils had both gotten a little lighter and increased it's arsenal of product, making this as good a time to make a sale as ever. The little drug dealer took a deep drag of chemical filled smog into her lungs before calling out, busker style, "Heey there lady!" A light puff of smoke rose from her lips as she called out to the approaching figure. "I think I've seen you around here before. Are you in the mood to treat yourself?" She greeted cheerily from her spot on the graffiti stained wall, a smile tugging at her lips as she added. "I hold a nice conversation, if nothing else~"

Vince Rike
Free Clinic
Vince grimaced slightly as the sickeningly familiar chemical smell of a hospital reached his nose. Admittedly, he wasn't too fond of them. He had seen too many loved ones die in sterilized walls. Now a days, they were more of a place of death to Vince instead of a place of healing.

Vince looked towards a nurse began asking questions. "Vince...Vince Rike...er, I remember getting a beating and someone helping...Last time I ate was, um, five days ago, I believe?" he answered as fast as he could. The world went by like a blur as he was brought to a room. By now, he was more tired then anything. All he wanted was some sleep. Vince shut his eyes, barely aware of the IV drip being attached, or the nurses and doctors running around, or his injuries.

Roxanne Alford
Streetside, Central Slums

The sun shone down onto the damp streets filled with random pieces of litter and the usual scum that filled the streets. It would have been a reasonably hot day if it wasn't for the constant chills and depression that filled the streets of the slums. Roxy looked up at the figure leaning against the damp scummy wall and listened to what she was saying intently. She'd Seen her before? Well, it was very likely, she liked to 'get around'. Or that's how people like to think about her. Roxy pulled down her hood and took a few minutes to take in this figure. She was small and her hair stuck up in a few different directions, another interesting character of the slums. Roxy took a couple of steps toward the lady and joined her on the wall.
"Sure, why not? I haven't got anything better to do... So, what you got to offer today?" She smirked to herself. She needed to escape for a little while.

Fae Rogers
Streetside, Central Slums

A slight grin made it's way across Fae's narrow lips as the lady responded to her call and came to stand beside her, displaying her pride in managing to reel in another potential customer. Raising the cigarette to her lips again, she gave a slightly shady wink and replied cheerily. "Now that's the spirit~ A pretty girl like you deserves to indulge now and then!" As she inhaled, one of her narrow shoulders came up in a shrug, shifting the black mop of hair accented by many assorted faded highlights that blanketed one side of her head. Pursing her lips, she cast her dark, blue shadow smudged eyes upwards towards the smoggy sky as if trying to recall something. "Mmh, well, I've got yer Mary Jane, crack cocaine, speedball, Cadillac express, crystal meth, heroin, China Girl, blue heavens, green dragons, you name it." Smoke trickled from her lips as she rattled off a list of drug names, some of which would be completely strange to anyone living outside of the Los Angeles underbelly. The smaller girl flashed another one of her grins, pleasant but questionable. "If you can think of it I've either got it or can get it, all you gotta do is name your poison, Ma'am."
