Alaska, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Reserves

(50km's away from Anchorage, Alaska)
2023, December 30th (1300)
It has been three years since the cease fire and us being out and about causing hell and back for the Russians, PLP, or whatever they could try throwing at us. For one, Corporal Parker was stuck with a ragtag band of misfits that the Army couldn't handle and threw in with me and to be frank Parker was one too so he had no-way to complain or argue with. From disappointment and sighs to come our way, they weren't so happy about being sent to Alaska to either die of hypothermia, or the wildlife, or the increase population of the Russian Army in Alaska. But the squad was doing their thing, trudging and sulking through snow praying they don't step on a land mine or hit a Russian ambush. The squad was ten soldiers in told, all-walks of life but brought together through their mistakes and ill-decisions. Walking through the snow sniffing and their eyes squinting looking around for any sort of contact that could stir them into action. With Parker adjusting his shemagh and letting out a loud sigh wondering how far they have walked and how far they were, "This isn't getting us anywhere Sarge?" He said brushing some snow off of his beanie with a frowning look, "Stop your whinin' Parker, unless you want to take point and deal with the potential losing your legs or get sent home in a shoebox." Paxton said with his eyes rolling with hearing Parker whine, with Paxton he was more experience thinking Bad Company was a way to get him out of retirement faster like other NCO's or CO's tried.
