It all started 14 years ago. Mother Corporation was a new toy making company. They started giving out toy robots to every child at birth. This was such a great deed Mother was doing, or so that's what everyone thought. These toy robots grew with the child and would grow with them well into adulthood. People walked around in public with robots following them, watching them. In the first two years, robots were publicly accepted.
Eventually, billboards started going up all around the world endorsing Mother Corporation. Small businesses were being bought out by Mother Corp. Mother Corporation was monopolizing the whole world. They were making new technology, and not just toys. They were making things like household appliances, televisions, and cars, even. Mother Corporation had become the strongest and biggest franchise in the world. They gained power through advertisement. People were being sucked into buying their products.
Once Mother had seized control of the population through technology. It's finally happened. Mother Corporation sent out a live broadcast through every television and radio in the world. This broadcast informed everyone that the human race should be wiped out and her robots would take over the world. The robots that were once friendly childhood toys turned into deadly killing machines.
That is how this all started. Mother's goal is to annihilate the whole human race with her robots and take control of the world. Many small groups of people formed, calling themselves The Resistance. You are the Resistance.. so grab a gun and survive. Whatever it takes, just do it.
