The way to the future will be made with swift action, and savage politics. That was what Anton Lothberg was told by his grand father years ago when he had introduced him into the Noble Faction he had helmed for years. Never had this been more relevant now than ever. The country now teetered on the edge of a break down as terrorists, and coups to overthrow rightful Britannian rule in other nations only due to the failure of his old friend Kyle. A momentary lapse, and a single leak now caused an entire reestablished chain of command into a mess. The Britannia Pure Bloods refused to allow Kyle on the throne due to a single night on the prospect that he may father some half-blood. Others in the noble faction fear that it may have led to Elevens gaining a part in the political hierarchy of Japan instead of simply being a colony. Anton remembered the day he had visited Pendragon again, and found second prince Nicholas R. Britannia, and third princess Vivienne N. Britannia arguing over who would succeed Kyle since he was forced to abdicate. Only for Kyle to come out, and announce his backing, with the help of the progressives, and loyalist faction, of little sweet Harmonia barely in her teenage years.

It was a mess...Kyle had single handedly put a small girl on the throne, and now she was doomed to be a scapegoat, and a puppet. Good intentions now paved the way to hell. Noble Faction Leaders now had their chance...they could grab what power they could, and make sure Britannia didn't falter, and lose its ways because of dumb radicals who sought to change tried, and true policies. Of course Anton himself just wanted a strong power base. Being ex-military he was one to understand how important it was to keep a strong front for Britannian recruitment which was being stifled because workers now saw a chance to force change on a new Empress who was too gentle to say no. Protests, and riots in the arctic north, and steel belt great lakes area where Knightmare Frames were established, and made. Those didn't exist when he invaded Japan, and now because Europe now managed to sneak out a peace the boys who are sheltered by the man called Henry Long, or 'The Black Hand King' by his supporters for his successful industrialization efforts, and wealth. Long rose from nothing, and he had helped so much in financing the military but now he was a peoples' man who argued for their rights. It only meant that people would get hurt. Britannian Nobles couldn't back down to common rabble...it was unfortunate that Anton couldn't see a situation where things couldn't get better. Things were now doomed to conflict because of a rising syndicalist movement even despite crackdown from Britannian Police on their own people.

As Anton pulled on his clothes he couldn't help but wonder why his aged grand father Abanoth had chose to call this meeting. He wondered if it was time to move...or if things had gone for the worst? He was told things were going to speed up, and that things would soon come under the scrutiny of the Britannian Noble Faction, and its fellows the Purebloods...but did it mean war? Anton had been kept in the dark but his grand father had told his somethings, and with the increased Knightmare Frame product it only meant that something was in the works.

Kyou walked next to him she was quiet...she rarely ever talked out of place as an eleven, and a knight of a noble she had a place to keep. She hadn't been made an official Britannian yet which was surprising given her service record but it would be something she would need to request and she hadn't yet. She was cute but Anton viewed her more as a reliant friend than a lover, or a interest. All the same as Anton approached the room to where the noble faction had gathered, some via telecom and the others in person, he couldn't help but wonder what grandpa Abanoth had planned.

As Anton entered the room of nobles he was astounded to note the Knight of Eight sitting at the table. A well groomed young man by the name of Austin Graves known for his skill with the rifle he was a master knightmare frame pilot sniper, and his machine was the thing of nightmares. Why was such a traditionalist here? Others in the room included Duke Norris of the southern territory, and a few margraves/earls of some renown. Not everyone was here yet...was this all? The noble faction was busy...maybe they were in Pendragon? All the same he had to be quick he nodded to one of the people in the room as he took his seat at the back end of the table.
