Evening, everyone. I'm dipping my toes into something I've loved for a long time, which is kinda daunting because it's an actual novel and not just a tv show or Disney movie like I usually play with.
Quick bit about me and what you can expect:
I'm over 21, comfortable with adult scenarios. I work during the day, Mon-Thurs, but I do tend to be around a bit during work.
I write multiple paragraphs, up to a comfortable ceiling of about 700 words or so. Usually end up two paragraphs or so, but if we've got more going on, obviously I'll do my best to keep up if we end up going longer.

Anyway! Onto what exactly I'm looking for!
I'm dying to write Nick Carraway from The Great Gatsby -- and I'd really like to write him against Gatsby in a romantic line (or an unrequited one). I'm open to something with a modern twist, or something altering the path of the book (instead of Jay dying, obviously, and without Nick leaving New York.). I'd love to hear any ideas you've got, and I've got a couple of ideas I'd be happy to try and flesh out with you!

Please PM me if you're interested, I'd happily play over Discord or email, but PMs and threads are definitely options as well!

Bump after four months because I have a lot of feelings about Nick again.

I've got feelings again, and I can't help but think about Nick learning more about Jay's 'side businesses' and becoming just a little disenchanted with this picture he's built for Jay in his mind (not entirely unlike what Jay experienced with Daisy), and which Jay is participating in keeping up. Really, these boys actually managing to trust each other a little bit and actually communicate.
