The Master was dreaming of when they were younger, his eyes seemed to flicker a bit as he slept. He was lost in memories of the past. He could hear the young Doctor calling his name in his dream. He groaned and rolled over crying. He dreamed of when him and The Doctor were younger. “Theta,” He muttered in his sleep. He was restless and he rolled over as he was sleeping. He was getting lost in his dreams and memories. He always seemed to have the Doctor looking after him when something wasn't right. He never admitted that he liked it or was grateful for it.

*
“Koschei are you aright?” Theta asked, He had become wary of how angry his friend was becoming sometimes. He had walked into the room to find his friend pale and still in bed. He wondered what was wrong. He doubted that Koschei would be so willing to talk about anything. He always was there to make him feel better and to look after him though. He knew Koschei needed that sometimes. He could see the young MAster was curled up in his blankets. He might have not worried so much , if the Master hadn't been in bed at least half of the day. He was looking at him, he could see Koschei was also rather angry. He did wonder what he had done wrong this time. His best friend was always mad at him these days.

“Of course not, and what do you care!!” Koschei was shaking with anger. “What would you care if I am miserable!” His blue eyes were focused angrily on Theta. He held his head feeling dizzy and unwell, he lay back on his bed.
He growled ready to toss a pillow at Theta.
“K..Koschei,” Theta said quietly. He didn’t know that the Master’s madness was getting worse. He just thought that the Master was angry that he was always doing other things. He had no idea that the Master was going insane.

The young Master picked up a book and tossed it in the young Doctor’s direction. He was always throwing things lately when he was in a bad mood, He knows he had hit the Doctor once with a book. He hadn’t really meant it. They had been through a lot together but the Master felt like they were slowly drifting apart, He knew the Doctor was planning to leave him one day. It was getting closer and closer. He was hurt the Doctor had not even wanted him by his side. He knew he was feverish. He hadn’t been feeling well since he woke. He had told his mother to keep out of the room refusing her help. He was sure he was so stressed and sleep deprived that he had gotten himself sick. He knew Theta would only try to give use of his given title.

“I don’t feel well, now go away.” Koschei snapped, He curled up in his blankets, he had been in bed half the day and knew that Theta had come to him knowing he was worried.

Theta looked worried and walked over going to feel Koschei’s forehead. He could see the young Master’s blue eyes glaring at him, he angrily shoved him away, Koschei was curled up in his blankets not wanting Theta to get any closer, He wanted to just be left alone to suffer in his room, or maybe he did want his friends comfort deep down. He coughed a bit and sighed leaning back against his pillows. He shivered a bit and had a horrible coughing fit. This time he was unable to stop Theta rubbing his back.

He sniffed miserably and sneezed a bit, his headache was making the drums worse. He grunted and held his head. He knew that Theta would always try look after him, whether he wanted it or not. He was aching and miserable. He sat there shivering and closed his eyes, barely noticing that Theta had put blankets around him.
“I’ll get you some food and medicine.” Theta replied. He knew he should get out of the room for a few minutes to let Koschei calm down. That was if Koschei was going to calm down at all. He knew it was really hard to get him to do so.

The Master awoke with tears in his eyes, He saw the Doctor was by him. Always looking after him. He was a bit dizzy and lay there. He knew he had passed out, he felt too drained from passing out.
“Doctor…..,” He groaned, He knew it had been awhile since the drums had even made him pass out. He felt slightly feverish so far. Was that why he was dreaming of that time. He looked pale and he shivered a bit struggling to keep warm he moved closer to the Doctor. He hoped he wouldn’t end up with a fever too long. He wondered if the Doctor had already noticed that.

The Master was silent again, he ended up falling back asleep. He knew he should get food in his stomach, but he just didn't have the energy, he seemed to only want to sleep right now, He looked rather pale as he slept. He didn't have any dreams this time, He just slept seeming like he was suffering a lot of discomfort. He stayed close to the Doctor though and was breathing deeply and he clutched the blankets doing his best to try and stay warm. It was like he just couldn't get warm right now. He asleep for quite bit longer. He knew the Doctor really cared about him.

When the Master awoke again, He was a bit confused and delirious. He didn't seem to know where he was and screamed and backed up. He ended up falling out of bed.
“Doctor…., where am I,” He looked confused. He was shivering and sitting on the floor. He was unsure what was going on. He wondered if he was going to be ok. He was sneezing a bit and he curled up. Great he felt awful, he did not like that feeling. He sniffed a bit, The drums and pain were less intense thanks to the Doctors medicine. He was glad at least for that. He wanted to just stay in bed now.

He was trying to get himself back to bed, He knew he wanted a shower and to get changed. But that would have to wait. He was too dizzy and weak. He coughed a bit and was shivering a bit. "Ugh." He mumbled.

The Doctor laid beside the Master, his fingers softly combing through the man's hair. As the Master rolled over and spoke his name in a mutter the Doctor's eyes followed him, moving close he pulled the covers back onto the Master as they'd moved during the roll to the side. Sliding out of his shoes, the Doctor neared, a hand reaching out to tenderly rub the other Time Lord's back in a soothing manner. As he rested back, propped up on his elbow his body facing the master, keeping a good distance between them in case the Master moved again the Doctor remained by his side.

From the movements, the sounds and breathing and mutters coming from the Master the Doctor knew he must've been dreaming. But about what? He just had to know. Reaching out the Time Lord's fingers softly caressed the delicate flesh of the Master's temple as he closed his eyes and focused. Slowly but surely the vision that was within the Master's mind was within the Doctor's they were sharing the exact same vision. Slowly lifting his hand, the telepathic connection was broken and slowly the Doctor opened his eyes as the softest of smiles touched his lips "Oh my dear Master" the Doctor whispered as he leaned in and placed a kiss upon the other Time Lord's forehead. Yet in that instant his own chocolate brown eyes widened 'He has a fever .. oh Koschei..' moving he searched his case of vials and pulled out another, he needed to give it to the Master before the fever got worse.

Before long he noticed the Master was waking the look in the man's hazel-brown eyes told it all, he was weak. A look of worry and concern spread across the Doctor's facial features "I’m here, Master" as the man moved closer to him, the Doctor wrapped his arms around him and held him close. As the Master slept, the Doctor held him for awhile as the man rested. Slowly the Doctor's eyes clsoed as he too rested for some time until the scream awoke the Doctor from his slumber in a rather frantic 'jolt' then the thud caused the Doctor's mind to focus as he realized the Master wasn’t' beside him.

Hearing the man's voice from the floor, he moved to the edge of the bed and peered over "Master…" he slipped off the bed and neared the curled up man. Pulling the Master into his arms the Doctor held him protectively "Shh.. it's alright. we're both on my TARDIS, we're orbiting around a new born star on the neistra constellation just getting a refuel on energy and to let you rest before traveling any further" the Doctor spoke to him softly, pulling the Master close against him. "I've got you… don't worry" the Doctor shifted and moved until he was cradling the Master within his arms and moving over to lay him down on the bed.

Tucking the Master in the Doctor removed his suit jacket and walked over to his case of viles and worked at a pouring a different mixtures of medication into a shot glass. For fever, chills, aches, and pains, dizziness and coughs. It was a rainbow of colors mixed into the shot glass. "This is a powerful mix" spoke the Doctor as he neared the Master "All of these separate medications I've brewed personally, it’s a bit dodgy taking them all at once, but we're Time Lords, we can handle strong concoctions such as this" nearing he moved close and held the Master's head up and aided him in drinking the volatile brew of medications. Placing the empty shot glass on the night stand the Doctor loosened his tie and neared to rested beside the Master once more.

Holding the man in his arms, The Doctor gazed down into his eyes, a smile forming upon his lips "Just rest" the Doctor's voice soft, a delicate whisper as his fingers tenderly caressed the Master's cheek "I'll be here when you wake" leaning in he pressed his lips against the other Time Lord's in a soft kiss before moving to lay down beside him, holding him close. It was better for him to be up close to the Master. Knowing that body heat was good at helping break fevers.

The Master was laying in bed, he felt achy and weak. He was cursing the fact that he had even come down with a fever. He wondered if that was another reason he passed out. He didn’t want to be thought of as weak and useless. He was the Master. He thought it was rather pathetic that he would end up sick in the first place. He was sure that if his enemies had known he would have lost a lot of his pride. Under normal circumstances he would have lost a lot of pride with the Doctor knowing. He felt miserable and he cougher a bit.

“Ugh why do I have to get sick,” The Master complained, He didn't think that it was fair. He sniffed a bit and sneeze again reaching for a tissue. He wasn't sure how or why he was sick in the first place. He didn't seem to want that. It wasn't even fair. He felt like his throat was slightly hurting as well. He knew the Doctor always had very effective medicines to give him though. He was looking at the Doctor. He wished that he could be feeling better. He doubted the Doctor would have an insanely quick cure. But he knew that it would still help faster than the medicine those stupid humans took. He wasn't even sure how any of that worked. Plus the MAster knew time lords were allergic to Aspirin. He always wondered if humans had made that on purpose. He shook his head. He didn't understand how the Doctor even liked being around those stunted apes. Time lord's were much more superior in his mind.

He was glad to be back in bed once the other time lord had got him off the floor. He felt so weak and useless. His head seemed all fuzzy and he lay down again. He was unsure when the miserable feeling would pass, he just lay his head on the Doctor. He was sweating from his fever. He knew the Doctor would have good medicines for him though. As much as he didn’t feel like taking them either. He hugged him close. His whole body was trembling a bit. He really wished that he could stop shaking. What is wrong with me he was thinking. It wasn't normal that he would even be shaking so much. He blamed humans for him getting ill in the first place. Their planet always seemed so full of easy to catch sickness.

He looked around as the Doctor explained about the medicine. He raised an eyebrow. He wondered if the Doctor was right that it would be ok for him to take all the medicine at once. He hoped that was sure, The other time lord was the Doctor so he knew what he was talking about. At least the Master did hope that. He knew the Doctor had medical degree but he wondered how skilled he was with it. He sits up slowly and downed the medicine. He was looking a mess to what he had earlier . “I suppose I look terrible.” He chuckled a bit. He was indeed pale and had nasty dark shadows under his eyes. He looked as terrible as he felt. He was sweaty and just badly wished that he could take a bath.

Just like when they were younger, the Doctor stayed by him and looked after him. He was shaking a bit “Your always looking after me, even after the amount of times I told you to leave me alone, Like that time I had been laying in my bed all day feeling ill and you decided to come see me to see if I was ok, and then I kept throwing stuff like books in your direction.” He chuckled . “I remember hitting you a few times with books any time I was in a foul mood and you would be in tears.” He hadn't meant to hurt him those times though.

The Master knew his madness had made him a truly different person. He had forgotten all the times that he didn't want to hurt the Doctor. He was shivering a bit. He wondered where the Doctor was taking them next though he knew that he was going to be in need of a long nap to recover. At least he hoped that would do it."Ugh I want to take a bath, but I know It might be a bad idea if I can't barely stay awake and if I am so dizzy." He shook his head. It was gross to be feeling all sweaty as well.
He stayed close to the Doctor and snuggled up. He jolted he started seeing things and he backed up against the headboard.

He could hear and see Daleks that weren't really there, He fumbled in his pockets for his laser screwdriver. “Dammit where is it.” He mumbled. He still didn't look all that focused on reality. He then remembered the Doctor had his screwdriver. He was looking nervous. “Doctor …. I need my screwdriver… there is a Dalek in here.” He had no idea that it wasn't really there. To anybody he would seem truly mad. He just saw that his life was in danger. He wondered where the Doctor had put his screwdriver. He noticed the Doctor had taken off his jacket. He though managed to get his screwdriver off the Doctor. Not waiting for an answer. He pointed it in the direction he saw the Dalek and blasted the laser, hitting part of the TARDIS. He was panting.

The Doctor remained beside the Master, his long slender fingers combing through the hazel-brown eyed Time Lord's hair. He could feel the sweat and knew the Master held a high fever which he was more than certain that would break in due time. "Always" he whispered, his chocolate brown hues gazing down to the man in his arms. Hearing about the book throwing a chuckle soon escaped the Doctor's lips "You had a good arm, a few of them got me pretty hard" he smiled and leaned in placing the softest of kisses upon the Master's lips "Rest now.. you're safe. You can worry about a bath and our destination later. Right now we want you feeling better"

Time passed, the Doctor remained near the Time Lord, not letting the man leave his arms. Yet as the man in his arms jolted that caused the younger Time Lord to become concerned "Are you alright?" he asked curiously, his voice laced with deep concern as he looked down to the Master. As the Master began to fumbled with his pockets, the Doctor's eyebrow slowly rose as didn't speak a word and just listened. "A Dalek? … Master there is no Dalek within the TARD--" before he could even finish his statement the Master took up his pinstriped jacket and pulled out his sonic laser "Master… give me the laser before you hurt someone" he extended his hand out and saw the beam of yellow light shoot out and strike the TARDIS "no!"

Though he knew it wouldn't hurt the TARDIS, much, but it would upset her. The Doctor moved close and pried the weapon out of the Master's hand and tossed it aside before wrapping his arms around the Time Lord "It's alright… calm down.. take a deep breath. There is no dalek, Master… you're… hallucinating…" his mind began to wander 'how on earth is this possible? was the medicine cocktail too much for him to handle?' his mind was whirling with possibilities. "I have an idea Master… how about I help you take a bath? get you cleaned up while jack changes the sheets on your bed. Lay you back down and get you some tea? yeah?" he smiled and cupped the Master's cheek as he gazed into the man's hazel-brown eyes "You're sick and I want you to feel better. let me help you" he whispered.

Getting to his feet he was on his feet and reached out taking the Master into his arms "Jack, get in there" as if the immortal was nearby the door opened almost immediately. "change the sheets on the bed, I'm going to get the Master cleaned up" the look on the immortal's face of priceless as he opened his mouth to speak but the Doctor shut him up immediately "Before you even say anything. Don't." with that he walked off to the bathroom where he sat the Master down on the closed toilet. After filling the tub with warm water the Doctor removed his oxford collared shirt and his tie as to not get water and soap on either before moving to the Master and undressing him down to his boxers. Taking the man into his arms once more the Doctor moved to the tub and lowered the Master into the bubbly water.

After helping the Time Lord get cleaned up, dried off and changed into a new pair of clothing the Doctor carried the Master back to the bedroom. Thankfully Jack has changed the sheets and left the room so the two Time Lords could have their time alone. Laying the Master back down in bed the Doctor left the room to go get some tea for them both. It was a long stressful time for them both, that much he was certain of and knew that a little tea would and could always help lighten the mood. Returning he moved to sit down beside the Master "A cuppa tea will aide in the healing process" he smiled and held out a cup.

The Master was feeling miserable. He knew that he needed to rest and relax a bit. He was very shaky after he realized he had been seeing things.
“hallucinating…. Ohh.” The Master muttered. “Ugh how high is my fever.?” He wondered if it was to do with his fever, he medicine or both. He shook his head trying to focus himself on reality and not things there weren’t there.
He knew the Doctor would always worry and care for him as well. He was glad of that. He needed comfort, as much as he didn’t want to admit it, he wanted to be cared for.

He groaned and curled up, His fever was causing him to feel quite sick. He had a nasty headache as well. The Master had no idea why he was feeling sick in the first place. He hated the fact that his body was weak and useless right now.
“How did I get sick?” He mumbled weakly. He was shaking and he coughed a bit. He looked miserable too, he was sure it was only going to be more miserable. At least until his fever broke. He was trying to calm down. He was breathing heavily.
“Damn sickness,” He moaned. His head was hurting him but no as bad luckily. Hangover and now sick brilliant day he thought bitterly.

He was looking at him “A bath would be good,” He felt gross and just wanted to get clean, A bath always helped him when he was feeling horrible. He lets the Doctor help him up. He hates been helped places and feeling weak. But he knows that he needs it. He isn’t even sure he can walk on his own. He also knows tea is good. He sits there while the Doctor fills up the bath. He closed his eyes and was groaning. He wasn’t feeling at all very good.
The time lord blushes a bit as he is undressed. He doesn’t even want to think of Jack’s comments if the man knew, Once in the bath he relaxes. Having a bath did feel good.

Once he was changed and dry after getting out of the bath. He lays in bed and waits for the tea. He never admitted it, but the Doctor made good tea. He had never really met anybody else who could make good tea. He wondered how mad the TARDIS was at him. He was shivering a bit and he curled up in the blankets, The ship already had plenty of reason to hate him. He knew after what he had done to her before it was expected and now he had added to that even if he hadn’t meant to. He sat up when the Doctor brought him tea and he sipped it.

After tea he fell asleep. He was hoping his fever would come down with sleep. He coughed in his sleep. He didn’t seem to be feeling all that well. When he woke he groaned and pulled the covers over. He was shaking but was out of bed quite quickly and to the bathroom. He coughed and threw up . He held his head and walked out of the bathroom after. His fever seemed to be coming down slowly. He was hoping he would feel better soon enough. He didn’t want to stay in bed. He then lay back down and was coughing more.

“Doctor….,” The Master whispered.

Jack was wondering whether the Master would eat anything. He just got himself a sandwich and began eating, He knew the Doctor would look after the Master till he was better. The Master coughed more and groaned curling up. He was still miserable and wondered what else the Doctor could even do to make him feel better.
He looked by his bed and grabbed his glass of water and drinks it. He was a bit dizzy and just closed his eyes willing the dizziness to go away.
He wondered if the Doctor had anymore medicine for him. If he was lucky. He was sure he would be feeling better by tomorrow. If not he would give it a few days.
