This story line will deal with the following;
Racism, abuse, neglect. Implied drug use, sexual activity (Implied and depicted), interracial relationship, bullying.
Y/C is a punk through and through. She comes across as cold and heartless, and she's in with the wrong crowd indeed. Her grades are poor, her attitude worse. She is one warning away from being kicked out of the school, and one more chance away from going to Juvie/Prison. Drinking, smoking, partying all night long. She acts out the best she can, for reasons not known to others.
M/C on the other hand is a.. well, nerd. He is quiet and reserved, tending to keep himself to himself. He fits in with no crowd at all, often the target of bullying and teasing. He's actually a grade ahead, and is working his hardest to get into university and to achieve his dream job. He is rather arty too, and spends a lot of his spare time in the art room. He loves to paint and draw, though never really shows his art to others.
The two have never interacted, though this changes when they're paired together for a project. Despite thoughts, they actually get on very well. They find they're comfortable around the other, and soon are hanging around together. Her grades improve, and he becomes more confident. They start to date, despite the thoughts of others for many reasons.
Yet, he can't help but note.. signs about her. Things that hint all isn't well at home... When he discovers the truth, what can he do to help her? And when he discovers he's partly to blame.. how will he deal with it?
