The Shadow Warrior, Chris Falcon:
A mysterious, feminine-looking ninjutsu practitioner who wandered aimlessly from the eastern kingdom of Ashihara*. He is a docile, gentle person and a bit of an introvert, as a result of his androgynous appearance attracting lots of unwanted attention. In TV Tropes terms, he's a Drifter.
Some people mention the term "Oriental Blue" whenever events relevant to his stories happen, a nod to his vibrant blue eyes and the fact that most of the time, the best solution for all the troubles is letting go of his bashful pretty boy persona and slicing up some baddies. He also has his personal code of honor - He doesn't fight for personal gain or fame, doesn't kill indiscriminately and only stays for long in places that can offer him inner peace.
Little is known about his past, except that he was raised in the Eastern lands, and trained in a martial arts school named Kurenai-Ryu. (His full name, Christopher Falcon, is also a nod to Ryu Hayabusa - both characters are badass ninjas on their own and named after the same animal; Hayabusa is the japanese term for "Peregrine Falcon") He was forced to flee from the dojo as it fell in disgrace, but he made a vow of honoring the teachings of his benefactors, even though some ghosts from his past come to haunt him from time to time.
His drifting brings him to Rafflesia Kingdom, where he senses great danger looming on the realm, and a noblewoman who's a central player on this chapter of his history, is the key to understanding the reasons for why the shadow is lurking where the wind blows...
*Ashihara, or "Ashihara no Nakatsu no Kuni", is the Japanese umbrella term for the mythological version of Japan. It's similar to Tolkien's "Middle Earth" or the Norse mythos of "Midgard" or "Realm of Men".
