In the year 2307 AD, humanity was relying almost entirely on Solar Energy for survival. With the depletion of Fossil Fuels in the world, their solution was massive Orbital Elevators with large Solar Arrays in orbit around the planet. However, only three of these colossal structures were built, in key locations around the world. Governments formed factions to defend their orbital Elevators from would-be thieves, who either saw to destroy the source of energy the countries relied on, or conquer it for themselves. Three factions, for three Orbital Elvators.
The Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations, or simply, The Union was headed by the United States and the countries around it.
The Human Reform League which is comprised primarily of Russia, China, and India.
Lastly, the Advanced European Union known as the AEU, consisting of Iceland, the islands of the Barents Sea, Greenland, Anatolia, most of the traditional continent of Europe, Turkey, and Israel.
Each of these factions waged war with one another, as if the only way to exist was as one singular faction, controlling all the power across the globe. The foolishness of humanity knows no boundaries. It was in this year of 2307 however that a new faction appeared, announcing themselves as Celestial Being. They possessed a weapon of immense combat capabilities known as a Gundam, which was a Mobile Suit that could take on entire armies on its own. They showed themselves to have at least four of these machines, and together as a squad they seemed unstoppable. Celestial Being's goal was supposedly the eradication of war through armed intervention. Wherever an act of war was being carried out, Celestial Being would intervene, destroying both sides of the conflict. The nations even attempts to manipulate Celestial Being, driving other nations to attack them in an attempt to force Celestial Being into an intervention that would destroy their enemy. The result however was the same as always, as both sides were destroyed.
It was in response to the devastating capabilities of Celestial Being and their Gundams, that the whole of Earth came together as one, forming the United Nations Army. Discovering the location of Celestial Being's Mothership, they launched an all out assault in an operation known as Operation Fallen Angels. As far as anyone is aware, they succeeded in this mission, as Celestial Being was either destroyed, or crippled so badly that they were forced into hiding.
It seemed, that there would be a lasting peace with the Nations once and for all formed together.
-Almost 5 Years Later-
The Peace of course, was not to last. It took less than a year for the United Nations Army to break apart, with the original factions reforming and entering into a sort of cold war. There was no longer open conflict, but there was nobody who would really claim that the years that followed were anything resembling Peace. Guns weren't firing, Mobile Suits weren't invading, and people weren't dying. But one thing was for sure... The nations were at war.
Now, with shaky ground between the factions, rumors of people gaining odd abilities, and worse yet, a fear that Celestial Being may yet return, the world is on edge as ever. And all it will take, is a single spark, to ignite a conflict that could once and for all cripple humanity to a point they may never recover from.

You are a Union Pilot. You meet the bare minimum requirements to have a custom Mobile Suit designed for your operation. Technology has advanced quite a bit over the last four years, however one thing that is still being worked on is the GN Drive technology. It has yet to be implemented in any safe way, so for the time being all Mobile Suits go without such a thing.
Mobile Suits from pretty much any Gundam Series are available to be played, just understand that just because your Mobile Suit looks like a Gundam, does not mean it is a Gundam. It will not have any of the powerful abilities a Gundam has, such as the devastating weaponry some of the more popular Gundams have. You may use their likeness, and even their name, however all titles of Gundam are to be replaced with Flag.
Also use common sense, that these Mobile Suits need to be capable of both flight, and space flight.
The only limitations, are the more extravagant Gundams, like the one that actually has wings. Yes, even if they are metal or whatever. And no, tying the words "Prototype" or "Experimental" to things doesn't give you a free pass. Canon Characters are also allowed, however keep in mind that this is an AU, and we are playing as Union. So you are fully allowed to twist the backstories and lore of characters to meet the needs of the RP, like for example I myself will be playing Soma who was originally Human Reform League. In this RP however, I will be giving her an AU backstory that puts her with The Union. You can go even further than this if you want, for example if you wanted to play as a Union Pilot Sumeragi. Go for it, as long as you change her backstory.
I'm just putting that there so everyone understands. I expect most people will want to play as their own OCs.

Note that Soma will be Commander, and all other players will be in the same squad. So nobody should be higher rank than Captain (Or Commander rank itself). Ranks aren't super specific within the anime of what holds power over what, so just use common sense that Commander is pretty much the highest rank in this instance that a Pilot can obtain without becoming a General or something. If it's required, then I will create a ranking structure to officially follow.
Also do not alter the character sheet. If you have extra information you need to put in, you can put it into the Description, or the Bio. But do not remove sections, add sections, or rearrange sections. I have OCD... I want everything to follow a structure here.
