Roadhog cringed at Junkrat's response and went back upstairs to search around for valuable resources. So far, he found empty water bottles, old food packaging, and items that once belonged to tourists. That was how he found a Newsweek magazine tablet on a table nearby some dirty plates. It most likely belonged to a tourist that foolishly decided to visit the Outback. Roadhog didn't care about the fate of that tourist at all. Originally, he planned on looking at the magazine for a brief moment until he saw the words "Omnic Crisis." Those words caught his attention right away and he immediately picked up the tablet. He made sure that his huge hands weren't in the way of the words and started to read the article.
Siberia: Ground Zero for the Second Omnic Crisis

According to the latest report from outside sources, the Russian Defense Forces had lost control of Tomsk in Siberia to Omnics and suffered heavily casualties. Three hundred RDF soldiers lost their lives while defending Tomsk for the incoming Omnics. Tomsk is the first major city in Siberia to be under Omnic control since the First Omnic Crisis. Now, the RDF and nearby authorities are planning rescue operations for the two hundred thousand citizens trapped. Meanwhile, the Russian president has called for the international community to acknowledge that the Second Omnic Crisis is happening and demands international aid. In a speech, he called out the United States of America and the European Union from "sitting on their hands as hundreds are killed." So far, no one has acknowledged the incoming crisis and no plans on intervening in Siberia have been announced.

Roadhog didn't know how to react to the news. For one, he knew that the Omnics were going to rise up once more against humans just like they did years ago. But, he didn't know when the article was published. It could have been a year old or a week old. He didn't have any way of telling the time in the Outback. He placed the tablet back on the table and resumed searching the upper levels. The remaining rooms didn't contain much other than a backpack of water bottles and chips. After searching around for a while longer, he decided to check up on Junkrat. It wasn't a surprise that he hasn't run off yet. Hell, he seemed to be having a good time while killing Johnny's guards earlier. Before Roadhog entered the quarters, he heard some noises nearby and went to check it out.

When Roadhog reached for the door handle, he heard sounds of weeping and moaning and knew that they were tourists. Poor idiots that thought exploring the "savage Outback" was going to be a fun experience. Instead, they were captured while their tour guide and his protection were either killed or sold off to a different slave group. He finally opened the door and saw five tourists tied up, scared out of their minds from the firefight outside. They were more scared once they saw Roadhog in person. One of them started to cry for mercy, thinking that they were going to die. Roadhog, on the other hand, didn't want to kill or deal with them, but he had to now since nearly all of the guards and Johnny were killed painfully.

He went outside and shouted loud enough for Junkrat to hear, "I need some help with these tourists!"

If there was one thing Junkrat was good at, it was scavenging through wreckage for valuables; after all, he'd risked life and limb to retrieve that omnic fusion core from heavily radiated ruins. He'd do even more for something that could actually keep him alive rather than make him deathly ill.

He managed to sift through debris and find what appeared to be one of the bandit's stashed assortment of goods, crammed inside what looked to be a half-destroyed desk. There were a few bottles of water, some prepackaged food items, and an amount of cash. They'd probably planned to hide it here until they left the blimp, unless they'd planned to make this a more permanently established base. Regardless, it wasn't Junkrat's concern what it was there for, only that it was fit for consumption.

Hearing Roadhog's booming voice with little issue, Junkrat filled the pockets of his shorts with the food and currency, and carried the bottles of water in his arms towards where the pig-tatted goliath was. Making his way up the stairs, his steps an unmistakable thump-clack-thump-clack, Junkrat soon located Roadhog and the captive tourists.

"I guess these dumbasses are our problem now, huh Roadie?"

Usually when Junkrat came across people who weren't supposed to be in the Outback, he made short work of them and stole their belongings. After all, they lived lives of splendor, without the struggles of the Outback natives who had been betrayed by their own government. Yes, Junkrat spited "normal" people. No, he didn't care if they were innocent. If they were stupid enough the venture into a dangerous place, it was their owm fault if they got killed.

"I say we leave 'em to fend for themselves. They're a waste of our time, mate. We take what we need, and they're not needed."

Roadhog stared at the tourists for a moment and looked how tired they were. He thought about how much trouble and trauma that they had to deal. It was unusual for him to care about somebody, especially a group of tourists. But he couldn't leave them to rot away in the hell that Mako made. So, he turned and walked away from both Junkrat and the tourists without saying a word. Roadhog went outside and saw dozens of captured vehicles, knowing that most of them had their parts stripped and sold to other junkers. Regardless, he spent several minutes looking at the hood of a fee dozen tour buses and jeeps until he found one that looked recently stolen. It was a tour bus that looked like it could fit everyone, and the parts haven't been touched. So, it was the tourists' way of escaping back to civilization if there was enough fuel. Roadhog headed back inside and said towards the tourists, "Follow me."

The tourists obeyed his order and followed him outside. Roadhog pointed at the bus and explained, "Get out of here. Go south and you will make it to the border. And then, never come back here again."

As the tourists got on the bus, one of them sat in the driver's seat, looked at Roadhog, and asked, "What happens if we run out of fuel?"

"Then you run."

He watched as the tour bus drove off and believed that they weren’t going to make it to the border. But it was better than leaving them with no chance of surviving. Roadhog pulled out the map of Junkertown and knew it was essential to the plan. Now, they needed something to distract the guards.

Junkrat's eyes followed Roadhog as he exited the room, expression that of one puzzled Junker. He hadn't been told to follow him or to stay with the tourists, so naturally, as was his first instinct in any place he hadn't been, he began rummaging around in an attempt to find anything of use.

Didn't seem like much other than scrap and useless junk, though anything could be made useful in the Outback. The peg-legged man knew that well. If he hadn't learned to improvise, he wouldn't have survived very long after the initial disaster. He still found it hard to believe, at some point he was just a normal person living in the Outback, and in the blink of an eye it seemed everything changed.

Glancing over a thin shoulder to the terrified tourists, Junkrat thought briefly on these dumbasses who made disaster a vacation. The homes and lives of thousands had been destroyed because of the government's decisions. These people were just like those bureaucrats- selfish and entertained by tragedy. Then again, Junkrat was pretty selfish too... but not because he was a dick. He was selfish because he had nothing- that fusion core was the first thing of real value he'd ever had.

When Roadhog returned and guided the tourists out, Junkrat now chose to follow to see what he would do. Furrowing his brow in confusion as the tattooed man pointed to a bus and instructed them to leave safely, Junkrat looked up at him.

"Oi Roadie, why are we lettin' them go? They're no different from the suits that got us into this mess!"
