Hi, I'm Naive1 and I am currently introducing myself as if I speak to an auditorium.
I have a basic idea planned (one that has honestly been in my head a while.) But despite the amount of time I have saved it, several details are missing. How about I start with the idea.
The world has just been brought back from the brink of destruction. Barely surviving the physical manifestation of The God of Chaos, not to mention the mayhem brought on by the destruction of said physical form. The world is changing, the once great races of Man and Elf are rendered quivering children, jumping at every shadow and vauge threat. This is the moment AFTER the heroes have won. The aftermath of a victory just mere moments too late.
What did I have planned for this? I will try to explain.
The ruler of The Kingdom of Man, who lead both kingdoms to victory following the death of The Elvish Royal Family, the start to the terror brought on by Chaos... Is dead. It took mere moments after the success of the heroes for the death of The King to be found. He had died in his throne, the empty room itself seeming to mourn him. He had died never knowing if his people were safe.
Now, onto my idea.

The kingdoms of Man and Elf (as well as their respective sub-races) are reeling. The land is destroyed, monsters fueled by the essence of the chaos God rule entire cities and prevent contact between bastions of survival.
And the survivors have no leader to speak of. Bandits rule free, almost as bad as the monsters outside.
It was chosen, among what was left of royalty from both sides, that a ruler had to be chosen to rule both races, as neither Man not Elf were strong enough to stand alone, not anymore.
A council was created, royalty from both sides as well as a select two of The Heroes who had saved this world were on this council made to determine who was strong enough to extend the rule of they'll dying age of mortals.

Second, ideas as to how I could actually set this up as a rp? I had some sort of court intrigue thing planned where everyone is doing whatever for their own reasons. But didn't Know how I would go about that.
Third, anybody interested in helping me with this if it seems promising?
