I'm Arreyis. (My handle used to be Arreis, buuut people kept saying Aries, so I changed it.) It's actually my irl name backwards. I used to be heavily involved in several roleplay forums, but I fell out of it about ten years ago... So I'm a little rusty, don't hate me. Now I'm a mom of two kids, a DnD player, and I try to write down ideas when I get them.

When I searched out a forum tonight it was kind of on a whim, and I was surprised to find one that is so prolific as just before I dropped out of roleplaying it seemed to be falling off. I'm happy to be here! Not normally active at this time (2 a.m. where I'm at), but I'm excited to get acquainted with the forum and see what I can contribute!

Thanks! It's good to be getting back into it. Now I just gotta find a story to join :-)

Word of advice. As a roleplayer of a good 13ish years - find a few good roleplayers you connect with, and stick with them. I've found it can be really difficult roleplaying with strangers, it's so much better when you have your own little "family". I don't even roleplay on this site any more because I found that family and we all started roleplaying on Discord together instead. These days I just try to make some money doing character art for all these nerds XD
But, that's just my advice, you can take it however you want or don't want.

@Redthorn Anvil Lol. Thanks for the tip. I used to have several friends I'd rp with on Yahoo Messenger (tells you how long it's been, haha), but when I fell out of it I lost contact with them too.
