Hey everybody, I'm a new member and I and some friends of mine are creating a fandom crossover RP. The center of the Crossover is the Game of Thrones, with the Known World providing the setting, with other fandoms, such as My Little Pony and Detroit: Become Human, providing flavor.

The premise so far is this:

During the Second Long Night, Jon Snow and his allies discovered the Elements of Harmony, along with their guardian, the alicorn Celestia. Jon forged the first Rider-Steed Bond with Celestia and rode to battle against the Night King and his steed, Nightmare Moon, and with the help of the Elements of Harmony, destroyed Night King and fused Nightmare Moon with the Moon, ending the Second Long Night.

Hundreds of years have passed and Known World is now a world of magic. Horses have become intelligent, magical and quite colorful. Dragons are also intelligent and not bound to those of Valyrian blood, if they don't want to. Other creatures have also appeared. And humans, as determined as ever, have adapted to the world and still hold power.

In this new age of magic, the Alchemists' Guild has risen to prominence again, but not thanks to Wildfire. Wisdom Elijah, a young and brilliant alchemist, has created a new kind of life called a homunculus. These artificial humans have become increasingly popular among the rich as long lasting laborers, who don't need to eat or sleep.

But even in this age, there is trouble brewing. Once again, the question over the right to sit on the Iron Throne threatens to pull humans into war. Horses, masters of land and sky, grow evermore resentful towards humans and each other. And homunculi, long mistreated by their owners, start to become aware, like horses and dragons before them, and must find a place for themselves in the Known World.

That's the basic gist of it. You can play humans, horses, homunculi or or other creatures. Rules will be rather similar to typical RPs. Wishes regarding the setting, story, and possible additional flavor from crossovers are accepted.

Thank you for the vote of confidence.

And I think it's a good time to reconnect.

@Coltshan and @rebornfan320 , I know it's been two weeks since we talked last time, but would either of you still be interested in this?

Welcome.

Anyway, what do you think of the premise in its current form? Do you have any wishes regarding who can be played, for example?

I love it. I think whomever can be played. But if they play as someone say discord or tirek, their magic and powers have to be used tactically. They can't just snap their fingers and kill whole armies or simply use brute force to take kings landing. They have to win the war , keep the throne, and administer it effectively. If not then faith militant, rebellions, and even other vassals will try to overthrow you.

Good point.

Speaking of which, I did consider some possible limitations for those who might wish to play the "big ones".

Let's say that there are two kinds of "Deities" in this world: Spirit Gods and Incarnates.

Incarnate is a mortal who has ascended, gaining an Office to represent in the world. The Alicorn Princesses are Incarnates. Their powers are stable, and usually related to whatever is their Office is. An Incarnate can lose her Office, and the ascension, or gain additional ones. Incarnates typically manage themselves.

Spirit Gods are beings who are usually rather weak, sometimes less than mortal, but gain strength by causing and/or absorbing their Essence. For example, Discord's Essence is Madness, which is why he causes chaos, while Tirek's Essence is the Self, which he gains by absorbing symbols of identity, such as talents.

Basically, an Incarnate is strong, but must spend their existence taking care of their Office, and can risk losing it if other Incarnates so decide. Meanwhile Spirit Gods are typically rather weak, thus the need to be tactical.

What do you think?

I'm terribly sorry I haven't been able to reply for so long. My schedules in real life have been a nightmare.

But, if you are still up for this game, I'm ready to put up the thread.

Nice. So, shall we still go by the game being about a thousand years after "Canon"?

I mean, some might want to play canon characters.

Of course, them being Incarnates or similar is an option as well.

Is this our main crossover idea from the other thread?

I'll use this to temporarily store my texts before posting them on the RP thread.

Once upon a time, in a not so magical land of Westeros, a terrible winter threatened to engulf the continent and the rest of the Known World. It was then that a group of Heroes discovered an Alicorn, a magical horse with the power over the sun and moon, guarding the six Elements of Harmony. The Heroes each took an element for themselves and their leader rode on top of the Alicorn against the master of the Winter, Night King, and his Steed, the Alicorn Nightmare Moon. Together the Heroes and the Alicorn used the Elements of Harmony to destroy the Night King and banish his Steed to the Moon, where she resides to this day. At the same time the Heroes released the Rainbow of Light, a force of magic gone from the world since the First Age of Heroes, and magic returned full force to the Known World. The Heroes and the Alicorn took their responsibility as the guardians of this new world, and harmony has been maintained in Planetos for generations since.

A nice story, certainly, but sadly the reality is rarely like in the songs. Although it is true that Jon Stark led the first Elements of Harmony and formed the first Bond of Rider and Steed with Celestia, the details surrounding the events weren't as rosy as the stories tell.

After the return of magic, humans have had to share their world with other races both mortal and spirit. Horses and many other animals have become intelligent, magical and quite colorful. Dragons have returned as well, have gained intelligence, and are no longer bound by Valyrian blood, if they don't want to. And others, once thought to be little more than legends have found their homes in the new world. Yet humans, as determined as ever, have adapted to the world and still hold power.

But after hundreds of years, a new kind of being, not mortal in the traditional sense of the word, has appeared.

Although stories speak of generations of harmony, even in this age there is trouble brewing.

As for the character sheet, here's a prototype:

Name:
Gender:
Species: ()
Age:
Appearance: (both picture and description are accepted)
Personality:
Background:
Skills:

A little test for the Character sheet(This character may or may not be canon to this RP):
Name: No One (Also known as Arya Stark)
Gender: Female
Species: Hero
Age: 1578
Appearance: No One is a short woman, who typically wears a long gray robe that covers her entire body. Only her face with piercing grey eyes can be seen. Underneath the robe she has a black leather armor.
Personality: Although No One seems demure and emotionless, she has her soft side, when you get to know her. She doesn't believe in following the norms of the society. For her, if the norms don't allow personal freedom, they should be changed.
Background: No One is one of the Oldest Incarnates, along with one of the original Elements of Harmony. As Arya Stark she witnessed the destruction of her family, and their reunion. She went onto many adventures while seeking revenge to those who had destroyed her family, but in the end chose to reunite with her surviving siblings over killing. For this Celestia gave her the Element of Loyalty. After the end of the Long Night and the release of the Rainbow of Light, Arya found herself in front of the Many-Faced God, the Incarnate of Death, and he declared Arya as his successor in this new Era. Accepting her new role, Arya became a Hero, took the Office of Death, along with the Incarnate name No One. As an Incarnate, No One has witnessed the world change many times over, and fought many threats, including several ones during the Year of Chaos.
Skills and Abilities:
As the Incarnate of Death, No one has many powers related to her Office. She can transform herself to look like someone else, travel through walls and similar obstacles, know when a mortal needs her attention, and of course take lives. Many of these powers are tied to her Tools of Office. She also has authority over the Afterlives, though she leaves most of the ruling to the Wardens of these realms. Even as a mortal human No One was a skilled fighter and she has continued honing her skills over the centuries.
Equipment:
Mask - A mask depicting a peacefully sleeping face. No one uses it to change her shape. It is also her symbol.
Key - Allows No One to pass through obstacles and open portals to the Afterlives.
Hourglass - Measures the lifespans of all mortals. Can change shape and size depending on the individual.
Sword - No one uses it to take lives. It is actually a Scythe, but No One prefers its sword form.

Also, I came up with this for the naming of the different Incarnate types.
Human -> Hero
Equine -> Alicorn
Griffonkin (griffons, hippogriffs and the like) -> Simurgh
Bovine (yaks, minotaurs etc.) -> Apis
Homunculus -> ????

Other types may also exist. Dragons and changelings are Spirit Gods, so they don't have an Incarnate equivalent.
