Angel backed up to keep a slight distance when she saw him charge. She saw the blood and knew she had managed to strike him. She jumped up and over him, landing nearby. She kept her distance as she fired again. She charged only to use the blade before she backed up again.

"I will not allow you to remain where you can do harm!"
She shouted.

Rocks and dirt were kicked up as she made to attack him again.

He turned his head avoiding the spray of dirt and rocks. Some of the gravel landed beyond him in the lush grass.

"Leave my lawn alone! It's the only thing I haven't accidentally killed!"

With rage he ducked below where he expected her next attack to be aimed and lunged toward her waist to tackle her.

Angel did not care.
"The lawn?! That is idiotic! It's just grass and dirt!"

She made to charge again when he tackled her like that. She felt the ground underneath her when she fell with a thud, her waist being used to tackle her down. She glared and struggled, her weapons having been flung to the side as a result.

That had actually worked? He might have been as surprised as the hunter. Andrew's gloved hands moved to hold her arms against the ground. He manuvered to be sure no part of his skin would brush against hers.

"What kind of reckless arrogant name do you have for yourself, Miss Bringer of Death and Doom? And are you staying for supper? Or have you remembered you were going to leave me alone!"

The hunter glared. She tried to reach for one of her other weapons. She growled.

"That is none of your business beast! You must die!"
She snapped at him. She refused to give her name. She was as stubborn as she was pretty. She would not give any info up or anything like that easily, if at all.

The wound in his side ached but he didn't dare hold a hand to his side. How could he deal with her, without having to kill her? He was afraid she would leave him with no choice.

"Why am I appointed to die by your hand?" Andrew asked adjusting his grip against her straining. His eyes boring into hers.

The hunter kicked at him.
"That too is none of your business!"

She was not about to tell him that the townspeople had asked her to dispatch him. They hired her to do so. She was determined to complete her job once and for all.

He winced at her kick and moved his sandled foot away from her. "Fine. Keep your business out of mine. You're the only one here that wants to kill."

Pushing up and away from her he ran. He scooped up her nearest weapon from the ground. Then he dashed for the safety of his front door.

Angel gave chase. She followed him to the window. 'luckily i still have weapons left' she thought, after scooping up the other weapons along the way. When the doors closed, she still did not give up. She saw some old ladder or grape vine thing or whatever, and used it to climb up to the nearest window. She got lucky, as it was left open by mistake.

She got inside and began her hunt once again. She went downstairs to catch up with him, weapon drawn.

Andrew bolted the door and leaned his weight against it with a sigh of relief. He heard movement upstairs. She was in the house! "This is a nightmare." He muttered.

Grunting he removed himself from the door. On either side of the grand entrance were two smaller doors. Behind one was a coat closet. Andrew went through the other closing it softly behind him. Down the stairs a hallway brought him to the kitchen. He pressed a towel against his wound and tied another around his chest to hold it in place. He'd left his shirt on, expecting another encounter with his hunter. Sleeves would protect her from accidentally injury, or worse.

He needed to keep moving. Thankfully this castle had many secrets. He sat on the edge of the dumbwaiter scrunched himself into a ball and scootted himself back into it. He stretched one hand out around the corner to flip the lever upward. Gears strained and the cables groaned but successfully carried him to the little staging area just beside the dining room doors.

Angel could not find him, not yet. However, she was still not about to give up. Her eyes narrowed. She gave a human growl. The hunter began to search for him. She resumed her hunt.

There would not be a single place in that castle she would not look. She would not stop looking. She would overturn things, open doors, look under things, and so on. Her determination was quite strong. She kept a weapon in her hand while she searched.

The hunter eventually worked her way downstairs. She was mainly going by instinct after a while. She smashed a few items and what not down there as a result of her relentless searching for her prey.

She could be heard making a mess on the lower floor. Andrew stretched his legs to the floor. 'I should put on pants before she finds me again.' He crept through the dining room to the main hall and started up the grand staircase.

Angel was continuing her chaos as she searched for him. She was angry and not willing to give up yet.

"come out you coward!"

She charged in the direction of the grand staircase, but she would not find that area before he was fully dressed.

With shoes, stocks, long pants, long sleeve shirt (clean and still in one piece) and gloved hands, he looked more prepared for a meal than a fight. But a fight this would be.

He charged down the stairs at her, a thick walking cane as his chosen defensive tool.

Angel made it to the grand staircase and was soon charging up them. She saw the beast as he charged down at her. She glared and attempted to use the bladed weapon in her hand. The floor shook a bit underneath her, but she did not care. She would fight this creature and defeat him, she thought.

With the walking stick he blocked her attack. Then holding it in both hands pushed forward, hoping to immobilize her against the wide banister.

Angel gasped as she, in the end, ended up falling backwards over the side of the staircase. She fell to the floor with a hard thud. She would fall unconscious.

Andrew approached her cautiously, but she wasn't faking. Carefully checking for blood he was relieved he hadn't killed another person. She was going to have an awful headache when she woke up though.

What to do with her so she wouldn't kill him when she did wake up he mused. He considered the dungeon. He very seriously considered the dungeon, but she would probably know how to get out of chains and barred doors. Especially left unsupervised, which was after all the point of having a dungeon to forget people in.

He could throw her over the back of a horse and leave her in the village. He did need to get matches. But she'd just be back. He couldn't leave, traveling had been far too dangerous for an abomination, it was a miracle he'd made it home after he'd been cursed.

Taking hold of both her hands he pulled her across the floor to the parlor. He was glad she didn't hear all his groaning and staining as he picked her up and set her on the couch. What a weakling he was.

He was good at tying strong knots. He had cord and tied her wrists together behind her. He tied her ankles together. And that loop was leashedto the leg of the couch for good measure.

He wouldn't leave her unsupervised, but dozed off in a chair nearby.

Angel was unconscious for some time. When she awoke, she discovered that she was tied up. She gasped. She cursed and struggled. She looked around. She saw the room that she was in. She was surprised that he had not just thrown her in a dungeon or killed her, she thought with a frown and a glare.

Roused from his nap Andrew returned an icy stare.

"Miss Doom, lucky for you I don't want to kill anyone. I suppose that makes you my prisoner, for life. That is less fortunate. We'll surely get used to it eventually."
