Angel glared at him.
"You will pay with your life and blood, beast!"
She struggled.

"You keep saying that. Were you related to one of those people? Honestly I'm very sorry, I didn't intend to hurt either of them, much less kill them. I suppose keeping you alive is the least I can do now. I have chicken soup if you're hungry."

Andrew got to his feet, holding his side. This was going to hurt for days, and no chance of finding a doctor to help him, even if he could leave his hunter alone that long.

Angel glared.
"I will not accept your bribe! I would rather starve!"

She continued to struggle against her binds. She was too stubborn to give up.

"Fine."

The woman was a mystery to him. She wanted him dead, he got that. But why in the world did she care? It wasn't like he was some beast that would earn her renoun, a dragon to be slain. He wasn't a predator out gorging himself on flesh. He felt quite pathetic actually after fighting with the hunter. She wasn't settling some personal vendetta, it was all none of his business. A life and death matter that was none of his business.

On his way to the kitchen he picked up her weapon from beside the staircase. He left it in the towel drawer next to the other one he'd stashed earlier. He ate his soup and drank cup after cup of water. He hated how constantly dry his mouth was.

At last he headed back to make sure that woman hadn't found a way out of his snare.

Angel had continued to struggle the entire time. She had even begun to try and chew at her bindings and such. She was determined to get free and to accomplish her goal. She did not even look at the creature when he walked in. She was very upset and angry. Her cheeks were red from those feelings.

Andrew did not like the determination on her face. She was going to get out somehow and then he was going to die. "Do you know, Miss Doom, you are genuinely terrifying? What are you going to do when I'm gone?" He loomed above her, trying to think of some way he could save himself from her.

Angel glared at him.
"none of your business!"
She snapped at him. She continued her attempts to free herself after that. She really seemed to hate him for some reason.

What was the point of even trying to talk to this woman?

A series of angry barks we're heard mutely through the window. Just around the corner of the castle lived the dwindling flock of chickens. The guard dog was a good alarm, but not sufficient to keep his birds safe.

Andrew pulled off his gloves throwing them onto the coffee table. He was going to stop this once and for all. Cracking his nuckles he stocked out of the room. His hands were covered in intersecting circles of the same brown colored markings. His hands were all the weapons he'd need.

He found his dog's shackles raised standing over a hole dug under the fence. The pair of foxes were already in the coop wreaking havoc, but they didn't have a way out. Andrew crouched down , adjusted the padding over his wound for the umpteenth time, and opened the human sized door. Both foxes saw their opportunity and dashed for the exit a bird in each mouth. Andrew caught one by the tail and wrapped his other hand around it's neck. The second fox bounded away with it's catch, never to see it's mate again.

The fox he'd caught wined and struggled. It's high pitched howling sounding something like a scream as it shriveled in his hands. Andrew elbowed the door closed, rotating the board to keep it fastened. Anything to take is mind off the creature dying in his hands, all the moisture from it's body leeching into his skin. He walked to the burn pile, now emptied far too often. He hid the body under the branches, leaves still attached though they were also dry. It would all burn up in a snap. But he needed more matches. He turned around to look at the window where he'd left his prisoner. Could he risk going to get them now?

Angel struggled against her bindings. She blinked when she heard the noises outside. She frowned and narrowed her eyes, looking in that direction, towards that window.

Angel let out a humans' growl. 'the creature will pay for this as well'she thought. She wanted revenge of her own now, or so she thought at first.

The bindings were starting to loosen. She took advantage of that. She bent to try and bite at the loose stands with her teeth. However, she would soon spot the gloves. She had an idea. Once the ropes were loose enough to break and she got free, she grabbed the gloves and tried to come up with a way to use them to her advantage. After all, the gloves seemed important to that creature.

Andrew returned to the castle taking a winding staircase to the dungeon. He selected a short chain intending to use the cuffs to secure his hunter's ankle to a pillar. Then even if she managed to get the ropes loose, she still couldn't roam freely around the castle making a mess of his life. If she could pick the lock, well at least it would slow her down a bit. Then he would know for sure... although that knowledge wouldn't do him much good if she got free and killed him.

He shook his head, he didn't want to think about that. He left the key to the cuffs hanging on the wall. He could get it when he got back from town, or tomorrow, or never. He wouldn't ever be able to trust her, would he? No. He carried the clinking chain and headed back to the parlor to further secure Miss Death and Doom.

Angel placed the gloves in her pocket. Part of a glove was sticking out after she did so. She glanced around the room. She attempted to break her way out of the parlor and make her escape. Then, she would resume what she had set out to do. She was not giving up that easily.

A chill ran down his spine as Andrew entered the parlor only to see the couch vacant. He shouldn't have left! Now where was she?

He hurried to the couch. Ropes broken, these couldn't be used to tie her again. The chain was his best option at the moment. He turned to grab his gloves and go looking...but stopped short. Where were the gloved. He went down on one knee to look under the coffee table, under the couch and chairs. They were completely gone!

"What have you done?" He shouted, hoping she was close enough to hear.

Angel was walking towards the staircase. She had to find a way to get to the creature without the creature being able to fight back, she thought.

She snuck outside, climbed some vines, and spied on him from a balcony should he enter the room with one. She pulled out a weapon and waited.

A pair of nesting hawks got agitated and made A LOT of noise.

Andrew held his breath, there was no response. He checked the dining room, no sign of her. He slowly searched the main level. It was the Hawks outside that drew his attention. He stepped outside to see what was panicking the birds. Please be the hunter, he thought. Then he would know where she was at least.

Angel looked over the balcony instead of through the window. she ignored the hawks as they continued to make noise. She stepped onto the balcony railing. She was ready to jump and attack when the time was right.

Andrew's eyes grew wide in horror at the sight of her. Another weapon aimed at him didn't really surprise him. It was the reckless determination with which she came at him herself.

Angel saw him. She noticed him looking at her and jumped. She held her weapon out towards him as she fell downward towards Andrew. She gasped when a hawk dive bombed her and got her with its' talons, causing her to loose her balance in the air, and go into a free fall. The gloves fell out of her pocket and landed on the ground near Andrew.

The sight of his gloves registered just before the collision. Andrew wasn't sure if he was breaking her fall, or if her fall was breaking him. He instinctively turned his head and covered his face with one arm. The other arm reached toward the ground to try and soften their fall. It knocked the wind out of him and he gasped for air too stunned to be aware of anything but the pain.

Angel practically screamed as she landed on him. she would fall unconscious after the hawk did one last attack before flying off. Angel would roll onto the ground with a thud.

Andrew peered out from behind his elbow. She was unconscious again. He lay there on his back, stairing at the sky above just breathing.

"Why won't you have me alone?" He asked at last.

He answered for her in a higher pitch "None of your business, forest beast."

"Well if that's how you feel about it, I'll just go back in my castle now, and you can stay out here with all the other forest animals."

He slowly rose from the ground, taking his gloves with him into the building. He made rounds to check every door and window was locked. It took him quite a bit of time to get to all of them. He walked slowly keeping pressure on his wound from the first fight. He ended up in the kitchen to clean his wound and try to bandage it.
