basically, there is a hired hunter/assassin is sent to a castle to terminate a creature living there. There are rumors that they are killing people around them in the varying towns and such. however, it was not truly their fault. They are under a curse. The realization would hit the one sent to kill them soon enough. This leads to romance and love.
anyway, the two end up working together to find the one responsible for all the curse and stop them. As they do so, the hunter/assassin and the so called 'creature' end up finding they have a lot in common, etc.
