Dark's heart exploded right before David decaptitated him. Dark loses all energy at zero and his heart explodes. David loses all energy at zero and he gets up after a few minutes and nearly kills the fourth most powerful being in Existence. Seems legit. Although you missed David's funeral after he lost the first battle and his code was annihilated.

Wait, his Code was annihilated? Is he dead? He can't be dead! And I'm sure Spirit and the others would have been there.

Sorry the pendant isn't interacting with David more. It has a real hard time transmitting any thoughts or illusions into his mind.

is it just me or does it take a moment for posts to go through?

"Dead." He had a funeral and all, but three days after he "died," (which was ironically, a Sunday), he limped back in. Data kind of dislikes him, but needed to figure out what he did, so he tricked David into a fight, and used his authority over the system to shatter David's code, to which David restored it with sheer willpower or something, proving that the control of a human was greater than the control of an equestrian, or at least that was how humans were originally. It's similar to how Kirito overtakes the Cardinal system, and restores himself when he dies in Sword Art Online, and it kind of draws a parallel. David displayed that he could control the system, at least the parts involving him, greater than Data could, enough that he could pull his own code back together, refusing to die.

Oh yeah, he can't use the Artifacts anymore.

Ah. That's quite interesting. What? Well, I guess that's part of your plan to tone him down on power. Okay then.

Yeah, well, a running theme ever since the beginning has been that humans were the greatest species, that fell short of what they were supposed to be. David's kind of supposed to parallel the original intention for human potential. And David's chosen not to use them at this point, because if he took them down with their own weapons, history would just view him as a tyrant, using their own weapons against them to establish a new world order, instead of a liberating hero. He actually has to topple them very specifically to be viewed as any kind of hero. And he's so toned down in the new area, it's amazing.

This is all so complex. I wish I could have seen it played out.

Some others may not have known it, but I've been setting this story up to be like this since the beginning. I add layer after layer of complexities and parallels, until finally, someone will understand and realize the true location of the Artifacts!... just kidding. Or am I? Anyhoo, that was true up until that last bit, because ever since it started, everyone has been turning this story into an actual world. A real space, even if theoretical, a place that could actually exist. That's the reason behind the posting style and rejection of OOC.

what if humans like us actually had the capability to make everything we think of a reality and it simply existed as dust to us but is in reality a very small/infinitely large existence where all of our thoughts exist?*mind blow level: over 9000*
