@ArkmageddonCat I am still interested, however as time went on I somehow got more busy. I'd still love to join but I have no guarantees on when, it may very well be a long time until I'm able to sit down and write up a character sheet. (On that note there's so many roleplays I'd love to join but simply have no time for and it kinda sucks haha)

Yeah, I'm not sure what to do there. I have one idea, but it's not really ready and would probably muck up your plans if he does end up returning. But I guess that's his fault, isn't it?

I say control him a little bit without infringing too much.

With Ocelot being rather unresponsive as well, I fear the RP will either be forced into dormancy and/or die off. As much as I don't want that to happen... I just don't know what to do. I'd prefer a state of dormancy to death, so I'll stick with this for as long as anyone else will.

If worst comes to worst, though, I'd be down for a reboot if you guys are. I've really enjoyed writing this so far and I want to see it grow, cause there's so much that I want to show.

@pugbutter How much planning had you two managed to put into the heist? He may not be my character, and I cannot speak for Yeet, but as GM I would not be opposed to allowing minor control of his character. Enough to imply he did his part of the job, if that's even possible to imply. Although... he's probably been gone long enough by now to justify temporary control of his character, but that doesn't mean I feel good about it.

At the end of the day, if you need to control his character to get another post out, I will allow you to do so - as long as you do it tastefully. I still don't feel too good about this, so if you'd rather write another solo-post (who am I kidding, they'd both be solo-posts at this point) I'll help you out as best I can.

@Ocelot79 I know you were busy, and I should've reached out sooner, but whenever you get on and see this I just want to know if you've been unable to post due to life circumstances or roleplay ones. I can only help with one of those, but I can fully understand both. Not trying to rush you, just making sure you don't feel/get left behind.

I'm sure Yeet had something in mind, which I promptly quashed with Jethec's objections. (I do apologize to him if I rained on his parade, though I was writing in the mindset of a paranoid thief who wouldn't want to get caught, too.) As for us being in that scene, and waiting in the shadows to rat out some NPC burglars sacking the grain stores, yeah, I had a couple of moments in mind, and was ready to take the lead with them if Yeet didn't volunteer with any ideas of his own.

After that is a crapshoot. I have fallen out of the habit of planning too far ahead because plans always go awry. But I do know I wanted to put the relationship with Liv on a more complicated, bittersweet path (not just the one-way ticket to Domestic Abuse Town which the first post was). And deal with the fallout and inevitable frustrations following the "heist," when the officers and quartermaster people don't react to the news the way we want them to.

Well, I could write something. For at least the next two posts I would need to usurp Theon if Yeet doesn't come back. I don't like it either. But after that I can strike back onto a solo path long enough for you to make a decisive answer, with more info, regarding the status of the RP.

Oh my god it's already been 8 days?!

Well... I guess it's about time I delivered my verdict, huh? I've seen RPs survive through worse droughts of activity than this, but all of them easily had at least triple the posts we have. The main issue here is lack of active players, and a reboot might help with that.

So... that's what I'll do. First, though, I'm going to give the RP a bit of a facelift, add a few more monsters to the starting list, readdress the rules, etcetera. I've also still got summer classes to deal with, which shouldn't outright stop me - but will certainly slow me down.

Will continue to post updates here for the time being.

Original plan was to prioritize my own RP (which y'all are welcome to join, btw, if you're interested in giving a shot to some Low Fantasy which is more Antiquity-themed than medieval) but get to this when I had enough material ready to justify a double-length post mimicking a collab. But once another week went by without anyone else posting, either, yeah ... idk. Plus when is it ever fun to roleplay with yourself, all alone, on the other side of the map?

Tell you what, I'll join the reboot if you pick one city and make the entire RP happen there. I was wary of splitting the cast from the beginning and trying to set the RP in a big pseudo-sandbox again is inviting history to repeat itself.
