Prince Ali Sekhemi and Laura Schnee
Laura had noticed that Ruby, Yang and even Yin were missing. In fact everyone had noticed. There was a mass search for them. Laura looked around slowly, she didn't know why but she felt like she was drawing closer. She kept looking around until she caught sight of a strange rip of some sort in the air. She approached it and held out her hand towards it.
"What is that?"
Suddenly the thing opened up. She had a feeling, whatever it was Ruby and the others would of gone through it. She sighed and shook her head. Without any further hesitation she entered the portal. She looked around as she found herself in a completely different place filled with solders. Quickly, without hesitation Laura placed a glyph on the floor and as she did a huge knight began to appear out of it. She did a back flip and landed on the shoulder as it rose up and held herself steady.
"What's going on here? Where am I? Where are my friends?"
She looked around and saw a man who looked rather angry coming out of the forest, he walked through the one of the portals, seemingly leaving. She turned back to the soldiers, getting ready to fight if he had to. A few minutes later, the same man had come back through the portal only this time, followed by even more soldiers, all headed for the forest. Something big was going on here and she wanted to know what.
Julia
Julia turned to Ruby and as expected she asked for the books again. She gave a sigh, well it was about time they left anyway. She looked around before looking towards Ruby real quick.
"I'm surprised you didn't notice you had shrunk, well, I shouldn't be really. Anyway everyone, please follow me. We're leaving."
She walked outside the City where there was nothing but desert and pulled the library out of her pocket. She threw it towards an empty area and suddenly the library grew in size. She rose her hand up and did the same spell as Kuro, just in reverse. Making everyone grow back to their normal size.
"Right then, who did you fight? Wasn't it Scourge? Follow me Ruby."
She walked to the Weapon File section of the library and looked to Ruby. The must of been thousands upon thousands of books here. She patted the table, indicating for Ruby to sit down.
"Now, we can't spend too long in here. I will give you some books now, then give you more later."
She sat herself down and spoke out loudly.
"Give me all files on Law Enforcer Weapons and Gear."
Suddenly about a thousand or so books and files appeared in front of them. She turned to Ruby with a soft laugh.
"There has been a lot of enforcers."
She turned back and spoke once more.
"Cut out all Law Enforcers who do not live in present day within Azroh."
Suddenly the files were reduced to just a handful. She grabbed them and piled them in a neat pile before giving them to Ruby. She stood up before waving her hand for her to follow. She walked out of the library and when Ruby was out, she shrunk it down again.
"They should satisfy you for now. We need to get going. We're leaving. We'll head towards Jeul, it's a simple town but past there is Salazo, City of Magic. Once we hit there, I'll guarntee we'll have more than a few problems but I know a few people who can help us."
There were in a large wasteland. She looked around and as she did she moved through slowly. Everything was dead. No plants, grass or trees were growing here.
"This place was a warzone. Of course, the Lalafell were forced to get involved considering it was right outside the city. Many died, and all because of a damn Law Enforcer. Do the slightest thing wrong and they'll take you in. Even if it's just littering. All crimes are taken extremely seriously here. Before the battle, this place was beautiful. Flowers blooming, trees, grass as far as the eye could see. An entire forest. Anyway, from here we continue forward until we reach the town. Just be careful though, creatures may attack us. They aren't like Rethynth who you can just sing to and they'll go to sleep. Here, we will actually need to fight, and if you need to, kill."
She gave a small smile and continued to walk. It was then that everyone would of heard a voice in their heads, it was almost like a whisper which made Julia look around in confusion.
'Be careful, you're in danger. Watch where you step and watch out'
Julia looked around but could see nothing. She blinked a few times and spoke slowly.
"Can anyone else hear that?"
She looked around once more before continuing to walk. Those who could see spirits would be able to see a dark spirit fox following them but Julia wasn't able to see it and just kept walking.
What she did notice however was a raven that was slowly flying overhead, she looked up and stared at it. As she did her eyes watched the area cautiously. Once they hit half way, the ground shook softly. It seemed like a earthquake that had only just reached them. So she ignored it for the time being. However as the ground shook again, and this time more violently Julia stopped.
"Is it me, or is the earthquake getting closer?"
As if to answer her question, the earth shook again this time it felt like they were in the middle of the earthquake, it shook so much that Julia fell on her backside. Quickly she stood herself up and started to run.
"RUN! MOVE! GET OUT THE WAY!"
She gained some distance between the last point where the earth shook before an giant worm with thick armor burst through the ground with a loud scream so loud it was almost deafening. It then dug back into the ground instantly and burrowed around the area. Julia let out a soft sigh before speaking once more.
"It's an Apocalypse Worm. Be very careful. There is nothing that can break through it's armour. It's too thick and the moment you make a dent in the armour it regenerates and fixes itself. Nobody has managed to kill one yet, I guess we'll be the first."
Julia felt the Apocalypse Worm about to shoot up again where she was standing, she immediately jumped back and the moment it shot up a huge spear made out of purple magic appeared out of nowhere and stabbed into it, however, it had armor over it's entire body, and the attack did nothing to hurt it. The worm looked to Julia and screamed loudly. It shot deadly acid at her which she rose a purple barrier to stop however the acid tore right through her magic, of course it did. She jumped back and then watched it as the worm buried under once more.
Kuro
Kuro followed Julia and listened to her about the wasteland. He looked around, shaking his head softly. He couldn't believe his eyes. How could a beautiful forest be turned into such a dead, dry area like this.
"This is the real crime. They are the criminals, not us."
Yoruichi step forward and sighed softly.
"It is no wonder they didn't want to fight in the Forest of Life."
She shook her head, disappointed before the two followed Julia. He heard a voice in his head and looked around before speaking up quickly.
"Yeah, I hear it."
He looked around but couldn't see anything. Yoruichi closed her eyes, runes appeared around them then she opened her eyes once more. She looked around and saw a dark spirit fox.
"I don't know about this, this thing seems dangerous."
Just then the fox called out once again in everyone's head.
'You can see me? Good. I mean no harm, I am a friend. I won't harm you I only mean to aid'
Kuro looked to Yoruichi before turning back to Julia. He wasn't sure what to think but for now, he wasn't going to trust it. His instincts told him that the thing was dangerous whatever it was. Just then he saw a raven in the sky. He looked up, watching it. He found it strange how it was the only raven, or even animal in the area but for now he ignored it. Kuro felt the quake and was immediately alert. By the time the second quake appeared he knew there was something going on. He grabbed Yoruichi and jumped back even before Julia made the call. He watched as a huge worm shot up. Julia's attack seemed to do nothing, and the acid it spat out looked as if it could melt through magic with ease. This was not good. He placed Yoruichi down and then placed his hands on the ground.
"Yoruichi, draw it out for me."
Yoruichi nodded and took a step forward. She closed her eyes and purple runes appeared all over her. A rune on her paw glowed the brightest. She opened her eyes and looked through the ground.
"Kuro, to you're left, three feet away."
She stamped her paw on the ground and a purple rune appeared where she had said. It glowed brightly before sending a beam down which shot at the worm but did nothing. Kuro got himself ready, waiting and when the worm shot up where Yoruichi said it would he rose his hands up and shouted.
"One, two, three! Fire Style, Fire ball Jutsu, ULTIMATE"
Suddenly, three giant fire balls appeared all around the worm. They combined together making one massive one that covered the entire area everyone was fighting in. He rose his hands and a barrier formed before slamming his hands down. The fire ball landed on the worm and exploded. Smoke shot everywhere and covered the entire area.
"That should do some damage."
He smiled, waiting for the smoke to clear when suddenly the worm appeared out of nowhere. It shattered the barrier and was inches away from biting Kuro as he jumped out of the way. That was when he noticed the same raven from before flying over for a second time. It roared loudly and began to fire acidic blasts. Kuro formed barrier after barrier, unable to do anything.
"I THINK I MADE IT ANGRY!"
Yoruichi stood forward and made a barrier as well but the worm screamed out, the frequency of it's voice changed until Kuro's and Yoruichi's head was hurting. It was obvious what it was about to do.
Yang
Yang followed Julia and listened to her about the wasteland. It was disgusting how the Law Enforcers could do such a thing. Yang was just speechless, shaking her head slowly. She didn't know what to say. She heard the voice in her head and looked around. She couldn't see anything but hearing what Yoruichi said she gave a quick nod.
"I don't trust it, whatever it is. If it's a friend, it won't hide from us."
She looked around once more then she continued on following. It was then that she saw a raven in the sky, even she found it a little strange but didn't pay it any mind other than that. She was on edge when the second quake hit and jumped back when Julia warned everyone. She smiled brightly seeing the worm. Now this looked like a tough fight. She watched as Kuro and Yoruichi worked together and ran towards there they pointed out where the worm would appear. As soon as it popped out Yang jumped in the air, using her Kinetic Powers, she increased her speed and power with every punch.
"This should work!"
She smashed her fists into the worm until she saw one huge fire ball above her and the worm. She jumped up at the worm ad kicked off it, landing in the barrier. When the wormed attacked Yang shot out her shells, using her powers to smash into the worm light a rocket but it didn't do much damage and what damage it did do was quickly healed. It was then that Yang noticed the raven flying over in the corner of her eye but she was too busy focusing on the worm to pay attention to it and she didn't even register it. All of a sudden the worm screamed and her head began to hurt.
"YIN! QUICK! DO SOMETHING!"
She held her hands to her ears as she fell to the floor on her knees.
Laura had noticed that Ruby, Yang and even Yin were missing. In fact everyone had noticed. There was a mass search for them.
