”We did everything adults would do.” ~Lord of The Flies by William Golding

A huge fan of William Goldings’ Lord of The Flies, this concept has been a long time coming to paper. Metaphorical paper in this case. This RP tells the story of a fictional third world province that is heavily ravaged by war and endless violence and bloodshed. A group of children, their families lost to war and they now alone, have armed themselves and formed their own “kingdom of the flies”.

After scavenging what they could from the surrounding villages, the group journeyed into the jungle where they discovered an ancient Mayan temple. They chose the old temple as their base, their “castle in the forest”. Since arriving there, the group operates like any third world militia band would. They raid defenseless villages and take people hostage, and have captured many adults and use them as slaves to help build and strengthen their castle.

The children have become savage and violent. They bring war and death wherever they go. Products of their environment. In this RP, my partner and I will role as a pair of scientists that are out on an expedition in the Amazonian jungle, perhaps botanists/biologists. The pair are captured by the children and taken back to the temple and presented to he leader of the children. A harsh young boy with the cold eyes of a killer.

Treated like animals at the hands of the brutal youths, the adults must find some way to escape from these mad children, or overcome them.
A dark and gritty concept, this RP will not be for the faint of heart. If interested, please directly PM me so we may begin discussion.
