Myrila simply huffed at the blacksmith's little rebuttal. "It is important that we confirm who her true identity really is," she argued. "Especially since we're going to be accompanying the heroes."

"But don't worry. I have no intention on telling on her. As long as she doesn't do anything suspicious or detrimental to the mission, of course," she added.

Their conversation was cut short by the announcement that they were finally going to present themselves to the heroes inside the throne room.

"Oh, finally." She rolled her eyes. "That sure took them long enough."

She walked with the others in a casual pace, not too slow yet not too fast either. Pretty much just following the crowd's own pace. And as they walked, her mind began to wander on how the heroes would be once again. She couldn't help but feel a little nervous, and she could sense her heartbeat raising.

Thankfully, it didn't take long at all until her question was answered.

When they entered the room, they were told to stand in a single line so the heroes could see all of them at the same time. Myrila gulped, straightening herself as she stood. She tried to look as regal as she could, befitting of the young sage title some referred to as.

As the heroes examined them, so did she to them. The first thing she noticed was that one of the heroes was a female. And she looked quite angry, for some reason unfathomable to her. The rest were males, and they all looked to be around the same age as she was.

So young... I thought they would be older...

To be honest, she had no idea which one she would choose. None of them really stood out to her. Except for the girl, but she couldn't just choose her hero based on her gender.

I suppose I should wait for the others to make their choices first...

"She seems like if she is a whole load of fun. I'm just wondering what a microvirgin is?"

Garret couldn’t help but stumble for half a second as he hears the older guy ask him about what the spear girl had called them. Luckily, with him soon after introducing himself, Garret took that chance to keep from trying to give an explanation for the previous comment. “My name is Garret. Nice to meet you Fredrick. Even if the way we met was through a rather strange circumstance.”

_____________________________________

Well… if there was any doubt in me left about this whole summoned to another world business, I believe this confirms it, Garret finds himself thinking as he takes his stand with the others in front of what seems to be a young king. Younger than all 4 of them, if he had to wager from his looks. After the king introduced himself and asked them for their names, the sword guy introduced himself in a straight, no nonsense tone, as Cole Smith. After him came spear girl, who boldly declared herself Rin Matsunaga and an apparent leader of a gang in Japan. Garret felt the sweat drop on his forehead as she finished up her introduction. While he certainly didn’t mind her confident attitude, her brazen talk reminds him of some zany bullies from various anime he’s seen over the years. It was then he realized he was next in line, turning back to facing the king and looking him in the eye.

“I’m Garret Lancaster. I too, hail from the United States, where I worked part time at a local tavern as I attended university. I’m 20, since everyone else so far has mentioned it. As I’m sure it obvious, I’m apparently the ‘Shield Hero’,” he adds, lifting up the shield on his arm to present it to room. After doing so, he then ended his introduction, letting Fredrick introduce himself.

The King then went on, giving more details to the situation as a whole to them. Clearly, things are definitely going to hectic with the coming ‘Waves’ they were called to fight. Garret swallows at the thought of all the fighting and the monsters they will see. His mind shifted away from that as another man stepped up and informed them on how to check their status. This certainly got him curious about what stats he has, so with a bit of excitement, he opens the window.

He could only blink to himself as he looks at the stats before him. While not surprising, it was quite obvious that his defensive stats looked really solid for being level one. But it was when he looked at the strength stat, or lack thereof more aptly, that he felt concerned.

I know I’m called the shield hero, but shouldn’t a hero class have more strength than this?! He sighs to himself at that. He’s certainly got his work cut out for him with stats like these. It was a least a little comforting that they all were going to get training from Mr. Marcino before the coming battle. Maybe with that, he’ll know more about what this shield can actually do.

It was then announced they would not be alone. Turning to the opening door, a sizable group of people stepped into the room. It would seem they were here to become party members to the heros after they had been summoned. The thought that there would be those to back him up was comforting, though there was a certain weight that came with it too. Those that joined him were placing their faith in him to look after them as much as he would be placing his own in them to fight beside him. To maybe even die in one of the waves. He feels a chill with that thought.

Griffon slammed his scythe on the ground, “I’m Griffon. I’m an adventurer and a Black smith.” He stated, looking forward at the four heros with a stern look. “I’ve been in a few fights and I can hold my own, there’s no doubt about that. You won’t need to worry about your equipment or your life if you allow me to join.” He looked at the heroes over once again. “If I were to pick a hero to join… Bow or Shield would be my ultimate choice. But I would like to see who the rest would pledge their loyalty too.. If a hero should be without followers, I will follow that hero.” He lifted the scythe and placed it back on his back. “I’ve lived my entire life, looking forward to the day that I could be of help to the great heroes… So as long as I can protect people from these waves. I don’t care which hero i’m serving.”

Marcino laughed rather hard at the boy's declaration earning him the young king's glare but he didn't seem to care either way. "Now listen here kiddo I'll speak nicely in terms that the king won't take offense at. This ain't some advertisement for a merchant's guild. You can choose who you want without speaking to them. Its your choice who you want to throw your life around for. If you wanted to make it known your intentions, and your unsure you could've asked those two yourself individually. Instead you've basically disregarded the sword, and the spear." laughed Marcino as Rin snorted, and shook her head. "Like I'd have wanted a boy with no nuts on my team. Judging by the looks of him he's all steam, and no guts. Only people who want a real scrap should join my team." Rin said boldly as a young man with blonde hair, and green eyes who was rather handsome quickly funneled in behind her. Judging by the man's well made clothes, and lute he was a bard of some skill. He said nothing. Cole himself simply remained silent whoever the scythe wielder chose it wouldn't be him, and he wouldn't fault him for it. He had no right to judge a man's merit when he didn't know him. "Please Adventurers if you would like to ask the heroes individually a question before making your choice do so quickly, and quietly. I do not wish this to turn into a tavern hall this is my throne room, not a bar. I also do not wish to make the other heroes feel like their value is underappreciated if one is picked more than others. I believe all of you, even the shield hero, to be of worth."

Garret huh? That's probably the most normal thing I have heard so far. Honestly it's appreciated to have that.

As we were introduced to the king I tried to take in my surroundings again and not panic. It's going better than before but I don't think I would have the confidence to use as much 'colorful language' as the spear hero. Seriously where does she get the confidence to say such things in such an environment. But we are going to need someone like her to help us get out of things in the future. As Frederick was contemplating his situation it became his turn to address the king he wasn't really thinking much about it so he started to just talk.

"My name is Frederick Ryker Jones and I like Garret and Cole also have come from the United States of America. When I was there I held a few different occupations but currently I'm a professor of history at the University of Georgia. My age is 30. I have been given the responsibility of the bow hero." Frederick raises the bow to show it. "I find this suiting for me as I have a fondness for bows." Hopefully that was decent enough. Just in case I'm going to pop my chest out a little to make myself look more confident in what I said. Hopefully I didn't skip something important.

As the king discussed the waves Frederick tried to like it too things from his world. So this is an apocalypse situation for them. Also is it only happening to them or is it happening to other nations. This needs to be figured out

Stats? Like the ones from final fantasy or Pokemon? Frederick hadn't played video games in so very long that when he opened a stat menu he seemed quite happy with it. He looked at them and didn't really understand them that well and just nodded hoping he would understand them later. Also we can't use another weapon. I guess it makes sense? No not really. But if that's the case our shield hero is going to be essential to me in a fight. After all I can't fire my bow if the enemy is directly on me.

We would have companions? Frederick looks towards the people entering the room. He hopes that someone will be willing to help him out even though he is a bit on the older side.

Myrila couldn't help but scoff a little at Griffon being rebuked like that. How could he not realize his little speech could offend the heroes not mentioned? And didn't he hear about how they were just supposed to choose which hero to go with, not to make a scene in front of the throne like that?

"America, huh? I certainly never heard of such a place before. They really came from another world... She knew how the myth said pretty much the same thing, but now she had the definite proof that said myth was true.

She looked at all the heroes once more. She had to make her decision right away. It wouldn't do to make everyone wait.

In the end, she decided on the Sword Hero.

She stepped forward, walking confidently and as regally as possible to his location.

It makes sense. Sword should be the most balanced out of all the heres. And he would sync well with my magic as he could stand in the front and protect me while I cast my spells.

She gave a slight bow with a smile once she arrived in front of him.

"Greetings, o Sir Cole of the Sword. My name is Myrila Astinili, a mage. I feel honored to be of service."

"A pleasure I hope you don't mind working for the son of a fisherman miss. I've got not a drop of noble blood in my veins. As long as you do not mind my pragmatism I look forward to working with you. Please understand that I see what's at stake, or at least I get what is. I'm not going to let any opportunities to save this world, or its people by the wayside. But make no mistake I won't be the hero that always does 'the right thing' so to speak. If I have to commit an evil to fight a bigger one than I will. With that being said I promise you I have no intentions of being a monster. I just want to do what's necessary to get a leg up on the waves. If that is all fine with you I welcome you whole heartily to my party." Cole said in return quietly as to not interrupt any conversations the other heroes may have been having. He was happy that the young lady had been so quick to pick him. But in return he wanted her to understand what she was signing up for. Barely any quests under his belt, and only a rudimentary understanding of what was happening being summoned not a half an hour ago. Cole knew his objective and he'd see it done with efficiency even if it was distasteful.

He'd seen heroes in his uncle's DnD games as a kid. When he was ten he saw his uncle's best friend Kent have his loyal lawful good paladin stabbed in the back by his chaotic neutral party member, and then had his reputation ruined by falsely claiming to the guards that he intended to betray the group resulting in the man's imprisonment, and then execution when he tried, and failed to get out of jail. That event nearly ruined a friendship, and that was over a board game. This was real life, or at least what equated to it in this world. Maybe this was some silly dream but it seemed real as the sword in his hand, and this woman's face...he'd never seen it before you couldn't make up faces when you were asleep he learned that in a class. However that showed the depravity of some people who were just role playing...what could people do if they wholely committed themselves to screwing him? He hoped he never had to find out.

Well, they bought the act. While it was true she didn't want her status as a demi-human to get out, it wasn't because of the reason she stated. If the people in charge of this get together realized a demi-human child had snuck in alone she doubted she'd be able to convince them she was supposed to be here. There was a chance they had a list of people who were coming and she couldn't risk putting herself out in the open.

Then they were told that it was finally time to meet the heroes. Well, this could be the make or break time. I've either got to get in a heroes group without being noticed to early or just hope the hero says nothing. Elysia activated her conceal skill walking in the center of the throng of adventurers. She had been distracted for too long talking to the other two and was just lucky that no one else seemed to notice her. Once they entered the room in which the heroes were waiting she stood towards the back of the crowd looking through the cracks studying each hero. She partially paid attention to the words being said by everyone else but her attention was largely on the heroes. She had to determine her target.

The first one who spoke up, someone calling themselves Cole Smith. He looked kind of creepy but something about him seemed prim and proper. Maybe it was just the way he introduced himself. The next was definitely not prim and proper. Elysia wasn't gonna lie to herself, that girl terrified her. Absolutely no chance of her joining that hero, if she could even call her that. After her was one Garret Lancaster. For some reason, upon hearing that he was the shield hero she started remembering stories that she had been told about past shield heroes and how they seemed to be the kindest of the heroes to demi-humans. That right now didn't matter to her as if she went through with stealing from her mark it wouldn't be likely they'd be kind to her. The last hero to introduce himself said his name was Frederick Ryker Jones. He seemed quite a bit older than the other three and what he said confirmed that. There was a good chance it'd be harder to trick him.

Taking all that in mind that left her with two choices of who to join for now. Either the sword or shield hero. She decided to try and figure out where the other two were. The 'super-adventurer' was still standing among the crowd and it seemed some of the other adventurers were giving him the side-eye. Weird. The lady had approached the sword hero. Looking at the two it seemed that she was joining his party. Due to that, Elysia reconsidered potentially choosing the sword hero. The Lady seemed to be fairly observant. It may be harder to do what she wants with her around. That just leaves her with the shield hero. Unfortunately, not many adventurers had made any movement. Especially towards the shield hero. If she made this decision now she could risk being noticed, but if she waited too long in the lingering crowd it may get worse.

She took a big gulp and decided to just take her chances. She deactivated conceal and began briskly walking through the crowd and then towards the shield hero. She didn't look up keeping her eyes level. She didn't even look at the shield hero. She simply walked straight in his direction and then went around him and stood directly behind him. If he turned around and tried to talk to her she'd just have to turn on the charm. He looked easy. Easier than Super-adventurer. This would be a piece of cake right? She just had to continue playing the role. In order to make her seem at least a little like an adventurer, she subtlety made sure one of her daggers could be seen attached to the side of her belt. Hopefully, no one would see her tail through her cloak. What wasn't good was that the bottom of her tail still slightly poked out of the bottom of her cloak. Despite how calm she was trying to appear she was freaking out. She was breathing shallowly and her body was getting stiff. Elysia was nervous. This was the most dangerous thing she has probably ever done. Please, just let us leave soon.

"Oh, I do not mind," Myrila replied with a smile. "Unlike some, I am not prejudiced to those without noble blood in the slightest," she exclaimed proudly.

Hearing his declaration of his priorities, she gave him another warm smile. Putting her gloved right hand above her chest, she said, "Do not worry. I understand your reasoning perfectly. And I would be willing to follow it. As long as it remains reasonable, of course," she added, her smile turning into a slight smirk. "I wouldn't let you just choose the easiest path you could find. After all, the path of a hero is always difficult and full of hardship."

Suddenly, she kneeled in front of him on one knee, still putting her right hand above her chest.

Which now conveniently drew attention towards her cleavage, which were easily visible to the hero as he was looking from above.

"But do not fret, for I am there with you all the way. For I, Myrila Astinili, pledge myself to your service."

It was a knightly oath, even though she wasn't a knight herself. She simply felt it would be appropriate for the occasion.

Well… at least he’s all gung-ho about this, is all Garret could think of as the scythe wielding man spoke aloud to them. He felt a bit good at the idea that someone was considering joining him, though he agreed with Marcino that saying aloud his focus on two of them over the others could be construed as rude.

As the young king added to the discussion, Garret could just feel the sweat drop from the last part of the king’s statement. “Even the shield hero, huh? Geez. That sure sounded like a backhanded assurance…” he grumbles rather quietly under his breath. It wasn’t like he chose the shield himself.

It was during his grumblings that he sees an unexpected sight. One of the adventurers, small and near fully cloaked, had stepped out from the group and headed straight to him. He blinked as said individual said nothing to him, slipping into place behind him. There wasn’t much to go on with said person, with what seems to be a dagger sticking out from the front of the cloak. He thinks he sees motion on the back side, though he couldn’t see what exactly it was from here. Another weapon, perhaps? In any case, it would seem he would need to start the introductions himself.

Leaning over slightly to get closer to eye level, he gives a little wave to the hood. “Yo. Nice to meet ya stranger. You may have heard my name, but just in case, I’m Garret Lancaster. But you can simply call me Garret. May I have the name of the first to decide to join my party?”

Griffon grumbled to himself. "My reasons for joining those two hero's are my own. The shield hero bears a shield and no sword. The bow hero has a bow, which isn't suited for close range combat." He sighed and shook his head. "Anyone with a brain would know that a spear and sword are best suited for close range, meaning it would be more convenient for a companion who can cover the areas they are weakest in." He made his way towards the older gentleman, the hero of the bow. "Which means I will pledge myself to join you on your quest bow hero." Griffon folded his hands over his chest.

"I will do that which you can not do. In turn, I hope you do that which I can not do." He held out his hand, an offering of friendship and camaraderie. "I know the ins outs of adventuring... for the most part. I'm handy in places like smiths and weapons shops. I can help keep the enemy away from you when fighting." He was trying to sell himself up a bit... He wanted to be recognized by the hero's, ever since he was a kid... this was his dream. Right here and right now, he would finally get to live it.

Interaction: None (any who wants to)

The trip from Q'Ten Lo had been an arduous one and at last he finally made it here to Melromarc's throne room in the presence of the Legendary Heroes. Until this point he had kept himself in the back and away from the prying eyes of those who did not hold demi-humans in high regard. It was no secret that Melromarc was a pro-human country and, while he had no intention of hiding his true nature, Rician knew better than to pick a fight before he had a shield to hide behind.

Speaking of, he eyed the Shield Hero as he stood lined up.

'Not much to look at it seems.'

In fact none of the Heroes seemed like much of course he wasn't sure what he was expecting either really. The Sword was the first to draw his attention as his honorable attitude reminded him of some of the Brothers back home which brought a faint smile to his face. A hero whose sole attribute was to attack seemed like the perfect fit for him. As Rician casually walked through the crowd twirling a gold coin in his hand he walked behind the Spear Hero with nary a word but cheesey smile on his face.

"Very well it looks like the adventurers have chosen their new commanders. Heroes from another world you will now each receive six hundred silver. Spend it wisely. You will be in charge of keeping your parties well fed, and in shape. You are the leaders of the movement against the waves. You are not alone. Procure all necessary equipment, and set forth on your new journey. You are dismissed." King Sanson said quickly as he quickly waved his hand and the door re-opened to allow all the heroes to leave. The Spear Hero Rin Matsunaga smiled at the archer boy, and the bard who had lined up behind her, and told them both to move their asses to the nearest inn. Gotta find somewhere to eat first off, and then whatever else.

Cole looked at the sword in his hand once more, and then at the two behind him. He hadn't said anything to the fox boy, a strange thing in this land no doubt but he'd ask questions later, and the mage girl. He looked at the clothes on his back, and sighed. "First off..." Cole started to repeat the same verse he did to the fox boy that he did to Myrila about his practicality, and his intention of doing things. He didn't want anyone who would be a bleeding heart on his team. Things were going to get extreme, and he needed people who wouldn't shy away from hard solutions to difficult problems. "If that's fine with you I suggest we all move to get me to the nearest armorer. My clothes are ill fit for combat. After that we need to either find a place to sleep like the loud mouth had in mind, or we need to start the level grind for me. I've never wielded a sword I'll need to get use to it." before anyone could really respond Marcino whistled shrilly across the court annoying the young king greatly. "Alright you vagabonds I'll be at the Dragon Traveler's Inn on the south end of town. If you need me you can find me there, if there are any pressing matters ask'em right now to me." Marcino said as Cole quickly took him up on his offer, "Do you have any suggestions on where to find armor, and medical supplies sir?" Cole requested as Marcino scratched his head, and thought it over briefly. "The Armored Way, and the Grand Duchess Apothecary seem like the places to look kid." Marcino responded deftly as he sat down on the floor next to a pillar on the far corner of the room. Cole nodded, and then turned towards his team. "You ready?"

"A wise decision," Myrila commented with a smile. "It indeed would be wise for you to equip yourself first and gain some levels afterwards. With me, a level 10 around, we can take on stronger monsters right away, meaning you would gain experience much more quicker as well." Her smile turned into a proud one. She was clearly really confident in her own abilities.

"I am ready if you are," she answered his enquiry.

Interacting With: Garret(@Spectral)

Elysia's heart nearly leaped from her chest right out of her mouth. She hadn't noticed the guy leaning over to look her in the eyes until he spoke. She had her eyes to the ground trying to calm her breathing, but upon his words she jumped a bit and her eyes darted to look him in the face. She thought at first it had been a guard or something but no it was just the shield hero. He seemed nice enough. The fact that she was small didn't seem to alarm him and cause him not to want her in his party. Either way, he asked for her name so she may as well speak with him. Try and get him to like her. "Hi, Garret. It's nice to meet you. My name is Elysia." Before they could really continue their conversation though the King spoke up.

*SIX HUNDRED SILVER! I've never even seen near that amount. Even after buying some new equipment that much would last me months. Hopefully, this guy doesn't spend it all on himself.* Right now though, they had a lot of options of where to go. They could go fill up on some grub, they could find a place to stay in the capital, they could go get some equipment, or start on the grinding. Elysia wanted to avoid the inns as they usually had a no demi-human policy. Guaranteed, as she was thinking about it the notion of being scared to go to one of the inns was nothing compared to sneaking into this place. She looked to Garret. She needed to show him a modicum of honesty in order to start getting him on her side, "Mr. Garret, I hate to have to admit this but you need to know that I'm not exactly use to fighting. I'm still a very new adventurer and haven't been in very many fights. I'm better at dealing with people and more of a scout if anything. Also, my daggers are very old. If possible may we purchase new equipment before attempting to fight monsters? That is really my only request. I apologize if that was to forward."

Interaction: Cole - Sword Hero (@vancexentan) Myrila (@Hammerman)

The speech the Sword gave caused Rician to give a questioning eye, he sounded static and stiff like this was a standard thing he gave when he met new people. Curious. Still fingering the coin through both hands Rician simply waved the Sword off as he responded,

"Calm down Brother Sword, you need not concern yourself. I am no stranger to mischief and as long as we come back heroes that's all I need. The details will work themselves out."

"KUWAHHH!!"

The loud squawking of the red filolial in his robe brought attention that he needed to feed his little friend so in the midst of planning their strategy Rician pulled out a small piece of fish and bread and fed the chick. The human woman, a stronger mage than he, prattled on about something about nobility and the like. A noble woman, strange thing to see a noble among the common folk. Melromarc is a strange land indeed. When the idea of better equipping Brother Sword came up Rician couldn't agree more,

"Yes I concur. I could use some better equipment myself. Lead the way Brother Sword."

“Elysia, eh?” He smiles to his small party member, giving her a thumbs up. “That’s a nice name.”

At that time, the young king spoke up once more. He lets out a whistle when he hears the amount the coin they will be receiving as starting funds. While he wasn’t sure exactly what the monetary amount would be equivalent to back home, it was likely a very hefty sum. Definitely want to get some equipment for himself and whatever his party member may need. Maybe he can get a weapon to wield so that he has something other than his shield? His thoughts were interrupted once more, this time from Elysia.

“Aww, don’t worry about the inexperience Elysia,” he goes to reassure her. “It would be rather hypocritical to complain about such things, considering you’re surely more experienced than the guy who just got here, eh?” He chuckles at that. “And as for getting new equipment? Absolutely! When you plan to head into the dangerous and unknown, one should always be as prepared as possible, after all. We can even make way there first thing once all this is done with.” He then places a hand on her shoulder. “Also, don’t be afraid to ask me if you want something or need to speak to me about anything. We’re partners now, so we’ll have each other’s backs, yeah?” He again just gives an easygoing grin as he says this.

“Oh. And please, just Garret will be fine. Mr. Garret makes me sound like I'm an old man or something.”

'This whole thing is highly suspicious…'

Ito had kept quiet through most of the explanation as he was still trying to comprehend the situation as a whole. One minute he was bleeding out in a back alley and the next he was told that he was to be a great hero and save the world, to top it all off, he was the youngest assembled which already gave a mild case of anxiety. Looking down at the bow in his hands he couldn't help but feel like this was a super familiar scenario that he had read in a manga somewhere. A sword, a spear, a shield and a bow. The weight of the bow felt appropriate in his hand almost as if it was meant to be held by him. While the king prattled on Ito tugged the bow string and gave it a twanging pull getting a feel for the tension it had.

It took the mention of a party formation for Ito's attention to be perked back into the room. Looking around at the room full of adventurers Ito wondered if this was going to be anything like gym class and Ito be the last chosen. Surprisingly a fox boy changed sides and stood behind him with a sly grin as if he knew something Ito didn't. A silent nod was exchanged between the two as Ito's cold eyes scanned the room for others who might join him.

"Alright you two let's get going please Myrilla please lead the way to the south part of the city. We can look for that armory, and talk in the mean time. I don't know where I'm going in this city quite yet." Cole said quickly as he quickly grabbed a scabbard shoved onto him by the mercenary who was suppose to be guiding them. Marcino grinned as he walked past the kid into the hall vanishing down a different hallway that Cole was heading out of. "Its nice to meet both of you by the way. I'm hoping we can get along well. I'll do my best to live up to the expectations of the sword hero." Cole stated calmly doing his best to integrate with some standard DnD style talking. He wanted to at least seem like he was the consummate professional if nothing else. As Myrila led the way through the castle, and outside Cole stopped to look at the giant gate that led outside, and then out onto the large city past the gate. The soldiers saluted him as they past by them. Cole stopped to lean over the railing. "You know where I come from there's a lot of forests. But not a lot of villages like this. Where I come from there are buildings that touch the sky, and all sorts of different things that you wouldn't know the first thing about. It really is pretty. This city of Melromarc was it? I look forward to seeing more sights on the way." Cole said to his followers with a smile on his face.

"Of course, m'lord." Myrila bowed once more. She then led the group outside the hall and eventually outside the building itself into the courtyard. She could see all the soldiers and servants staring at them, with the former saluting them as they passed. It gave her a smile. It felt good to be respected like that, even though she very well knew it was all because she was with the Sword Hero.

"I feel the same, m'lord. It's an honor and a pleasure to meet and serve one of the Four Heroes." Myrila responded while they walked through the castle hallways. "And I very well know you would be able to perform your role admirably. You have been chosen by Fate itself after all."

Once they were outside, she took notice that Cole seemed to want to pause to look over the scenery. The castle was overlooking the town, and he could have a good view of everything.

She decided to postpone their journey, even if just for a moment. No need to rush after all.

"Oh? Then you certainly came from a really curious place, m'lord," she replied with a smile to his story as she stood beside him near the railing. "I would certainly love to go to your world one day," she continued, albeit knowing fully that it was just a pipedream. Only the Heroes could cross worlds. She would never be able to perform such a feat, no matter how much magic she learned.

A gentle and pleasant breeze continuosly blew around them. The castle grounds could be quite windy as there were no natural barriers protecting them from the wind. However, it also meant that the inside of the castle was not stuffy in the slightest as the wind would continuosly blow in, refreshing the stagnant air inside.

Unfortunately for Myrila, said wind was also lifting up the front of her microskirt, revealing to Cole that she was wearing her frilly teal panties today, a perfect match with the rest of her outfit.

The girl seemed to not notice. She continued standing there facing towards Cole with a smile on her face, appreciating the wind caressing her skin.
