Karena nods and walks to the roof. She takes out her phone and aims it at the security camera, shutting it down. She scans the area for any other recording devices.

When she's finally satisfied, Karena sighs. "When I was little, my mother supposedly died, and there was a funeral and everything, but my father seemed awfully cheerful after having lost the love of his life. Anyway, a couple years ago, I was allowed to go to this secret chamber that had a secret door to the syndicate crypt. When I got to my mother's casket, it was empty, except for some pictures and a couple of letters.. the same documents I dropped when I ran into you that one time. The papers have led me to believe that, if she is indeed dead, there's more to the story. Everything I've ever learned plus the papers led me to believe that the Russian Mafia was one of the lead suspects. They still are, so when I saw you associate with them like that, I didn't know what to think."

Alexei nods" well I joined because knew I was going to become a gangster eventually and I would have joined Mexican mafia but as you can see im not mexican . And if your father is so cheerfull chances are he killed her or hired somebody but I'll ask around my mafia to see if anyone knows anything. "

Karena grins grimly when he mentions her father. "I would've fought that, except my father was a completely different man with my mother. He smiled when no one was dying." Then she nods. "Thanks, but I can't put you in any more trouble. If someone sniffs you out, you're done for. That's one of the reasons why I didn't want to say anything, I'm okay with dying for this but I'm not digging any graves just so I could learn about a woman that maybe just left."

Karena smiles slightly when she sees Cat is fast asleep, tucks her in, then leaves for the cafeteria again. She approaches Alexei through the crowds, but stops and turns to walk away when she sees the Russian mafia.
