In the year 2120...

A mercenary company, Maniacles Corporation has risen in power and influence thanks to their efforts in the advancement of technology, medicine, and also...weapons. Maniacles is credited for the invention of laser rifles, power armor, and many other marvelous new inventions. In addition to these advancements they had a major victory over a mysterious occurrence that many can't quite explain or understand.

In 2086 strange bug-like creatures started appearing in large numbers around the globe. These bugs liked the flesh of living things, mainly humans and came to be known as Pests. Thanks to Maniacles, the Pests were defeated in the western world.

It is perhaps due to this that you have decided to join Maniacles Corporation as a mercenary. Or maybe you just wanted a suit of power armor or to feel the kickback of a laser rifle when it fires. Regardless you are now a mercenary and are being sent on your first mission.

Likely related to the problem back in 2086 there has been a mysterious mass disappearance of most of the population of Moonlight Falls, West Virginia. The few still living in this area report sightings of the Pests. Being that we thought we had ended this problem decades ago, and of course we are being paid, a great first assignment for new mercenaries is the investigation into this matter.

But this is only the first of many missions...

@MikkishtheLeprechaun I got a question on the blood magic what would that be like exactly?

Blood manipulation. At an intermediate level you can control a few enemies, like control their bodies (more advanced enemies will have defenses against this). Basically while they are still themselves and protesting you are controlling their bodies and making them attack their comrades. You can also weaken enemies physically, maybe put them to sleep or momentarily sap their strength. With enough focus you can makes someone bleed to death from their orifices or make their brain explode but it takes time and concentration. Basically just think about blood manipulation, what that means, and what kind of things you can do with it.

Sure. Just remember it's intermediate and the general "don't be op" rule of thumb.

@MikkishtheLeprechaun right and sorry for all the questions but once he becomes better could he cut his hand and use the blood running from it to form weapons by concealing it ? This would be after awhile

Its not really for turning blood into weapons but more for manipulating blood. But hang on let me add some more magic types.

I added a couple more exampled of magic. Please to all players or interested RPers do bring up other magic types and I will work with you. I ran another Mage RP before and just told people to decide whatever magic their character knew and it turned to chaos, confusion, and some pretty OP player characters so thats why theres a little structure here.

Can i use my goddess vampire Vampora? (Note, shes also my persona.....) she is a bit op'ed but i give her weaknesses depending on the rp.....

A character can be a vampire but must be like they are described in the rp. Also no goddess character. She will still be badass though.
