Winter frowns, and opens an eye. Her furry ears twitch, too sensitive for her to fall asleep in the middle of people. Her large paws cover her ears. “Shh,” she playfully stretches her rear leg until it gently pushes against Kerian’s ankle.

Max grins. "Sure thing, Carmilla." She rolls her eyes in good humor at Winter's comment. "So I get the feeling we don't have enough beds. Wanna give me a hand?" she asks Natalia, shrugging a bag off her shoulder. It lands with a klang at her feet, and she starts pulling out pipes and expanding them. "I've got two spare cots that I can set up."

Max fake-gags at Natalia. She silently guides her through the setup, and the cots are arranged quickly. They're somewhere between twin and full size beds, and they're incredibly lightweight. She stretches woven nylon strips across the frame and tighten them down. She moves one a little further away, then comes back and nudges Winter. "Hey, Catwoman. There's a bed if you want it," she says.

Winter’s ear twitches and an eye opens when Max nudges her. Silently, she gently grabs Kerian by the nape of his neck and drags him onto her back. She carefully, silently jumps onto the bed and lays down, letting Kerian slide off of her onto the bed. She lays down and cleans her paws. She smiles at Max. “Thank you.”
