The day had started out like any ordinary for the U.S.S Kalispell; they were busy preparing for a expedition towards Elea when they had detected strange signals just a short distance away. Normally, members of the Alaska Branch would take care of figuring out what it was, but it was closer to where the Kalispell was currently docked, so the orders came from Commander Sharpe, having them go and investigate what these strange signals were. Unfortunately, this would turn out to be a mistake as communications between the Kalispell and the rest of the DSC had been completely cut off when they passed by the area where the signals were strongest. This caused panic among the crew, as returning to whence they came didn't help. Even stranger is that they found themselves just a short distance away from... Earth? It wasn't anything like the stories told them; sure, the continents matched every map they've ever seen, but unlike what they've been told, it's green and lush, not decaying and wasting away, the Sun wasn't a massive ball of death, everything seemed.. like the exact opposite. Though they were still a bit panicked, having been suddenly cut off from the rest of the DSC, but they were quite intrigued with what they found.
Taking a moment, they had landed on the planet, just a short distance away from a small town in [insert state here]. Noticing the massive ship landing, your character decided to go investigate. Were they aliens? Was it some government test craft? Were you simply high? Whatever it was, your curiosity led you to investigate the ship, soon discovering that it seemed to be from some highly advanced society, yet the people exiting the ship were just regular humans with ridiculously decked out technology. Now you were positive that you were either having one hell of a drug trip or they were with the government. You soon discover that it's neither; they are indeed extraterrestrial in origin, as none of them have even stepped foot on Earth until now. After introducing yourself, you begin to learn more about the Kalispell, the DSC, and the crew that works within it. What will happen from here?

So, essentially with this RP, I'm looking for someone to be living in a small town to bump into Captain Steven and the rest of his crew where they would try to figure what they are and where they came from, potentially even trying to help them to get back to where they came from. So, this would effectively be a cheesy extraterrestrial meets human (though this could be adjusted) girl with the hopes of a romance developing between her and the Captain.
