I find it a bit novel that the first real piece of research I provided was not relating to felids but bees instead with the western honey bee. Seeing "research grade" on the material to be used was a surprise, even if it was not my aim. Even still, at least something of one of my tangential dabblings will be of use to further understanding for related fields.

I enjoy writing stories for my friends and when I post a story on my post called "The Creepy Library" my anxiety acts up because I dont know if anyone is going to read my stories or if they're going to like my stories and it just terrifies me.

I'm a passive-aggressive and petty kind of person. For example: if you irritate me, and I know which way you prefer your toilet paper to be, odds are that I will purposefully take your toilet paper roll and put it on the roll so it spins the opposite way of your preference.

I keep forgetting to check back in on this site because of life. Perhaps one day I'll actually write!

When given a multitude of choices for something completely based on preference, I generally pick the thing least-chosen by others - the reason being that it is least chosen.

When the names of places come to me, all of them sound like strange and abstract locations. They are not names so much as descriptions which I believe because, as I have confessed prior, the concept of naming things is strange to me and I have difficulty in it. This is where ideas for locations such as "The Sundered Lands", "The Dreaming Oubliette", "Plains of Silence", "Emerald Falls" manifest from and when I read them, there always appears to be an ominous undertone to them.

I find naming things quite easily. I've named most of my children's stuffed toys; the ones they hold dear to them.

I don't name things. In fact, I forget the proper name for just about anything every now and then.

I do, however, have favorite boy and girl names when the moment arrives and I have kids. For a girl, I used to want Annelise, but now I'm leaning more towards Elena followed by Emilia, which is a close second. I'm a bit more indecisive for a boy. As of now I'd go with Theodore. I also really like Lucas, John, James, Benjamin, and possibly Damien.

Also, it is my opinion that if you name your kid something like Blue Skie, you're one of humanity's failures.

Whenever I do name anything, I pry it for meaningful contents and attempt to forecast portents of what the name might mean or imply. This is done not just for the obvious, to give the reader insight into it by name alone, but also because the power words do have and how they shape perceptions with nothing more than their reading or utterance. Thus it becomes an issue of mine that I write meaning into everything, even if it means nothing at all.

This is how Native Americans traditionally named their children. A baby was given an optimistic name; something the parents predict about the child or something in the family's history. But as the child grows and gets into adventures, the name may change based on behaviors or past experiences. A person may have four or five names in their lifetime; it changes as their experiences change.

It is interesting that one notes that, @Gunther, as I have had some minor experience with it. There is something familiar and true to that, symbolic even. Which I suppose ties back into the fact I once knew a medicine man and as quiet as he was on his doings, the meaningfulness of names was something he did speak on.

I tried cow tongue, liver cake, and jellied meat tonight amongst other things. Went over to my boyfriend's parent's house since it's the Jewish new year and the menu was filled with Russian dishes, as expected. I'm an extremely picky eater, but I downed the difficult bites like a champ.

I watched "Yesterday" this week. That was a cute film. I am a Beatles fan, which helps. I didn't realize other pop culture items didn't happen when the lights went out. It was scary thinking of a world without Coca-Cola or Harry Potter.

Apparently I don't snore, but that doesn't make me Sleeping Beauty. When I'm in a really tired state and pass out as a result, I drool. I'm talking about a huge puddle of drool. It could be on the pillow, the shoulder of my partner, etc.

Good times!
