Hiya :> With Shadowkeep and Newlight coming out in a week, I'm hype as all hell for Destiny and would love to do an rp in the universe! 18+ is required though, adult themes or not! I'm 20 I don't wanna accidentally rp with a 12 year old that would be weird, no offence 12 year olds
I've only played D2 D1 on pc when bungie so I don't know all the ins and outs of every little thing, but hopefully that's okay. As far as rp goes I'm looking for a little bit of everything to be honest! Action, angst, romance, fluff, the whole nine yards, or whatever we want. Romance especially isn't at all required, but if it happens I certainly wouldn't be opposed. I'm not super great at writing canon characters, only really as side iterations and when needed, but if you want to that's fine by me. Either way, we can chat it out through PMs and come up with something we're both interested in! I don't mind writing multiple characters, as well.
Looking for something hopefully long term, though post length doesn't matter so long as it isn't all one liners. Character development, overcoming obstacles, and strong character bonds (friendship or otherwise) are all what I'm looking for. I wanna carve out a niche in this huge universe, rather we're writing the game's Main Character or not. That being said though, I'm not a stickler for perfection or managing 'over powered' characters, we're god killers here man I'm not about to micromanage your character. Wanna write an Eliksni Guardian? Be my guest! An Exo with Vex integration? Go for it! A risen from the Dark ages? Sure! An Ahamkara in disguise? Absolutely! Rping is all about having fun, rather your Guardian(s) is 'typical' or not!
Some vague Ideas - Can all be set before, after, or even during the Red war. Or maybe in the middle of Warmind, or even present Post-Forsaken. We can stick to the game's plot or make something entirely our own! (All these ideas pretty much avoid having canon characters as a main presence, but if you'd like to write a canon character we can certainly brainstorm together!)
Fresh Rezed - Exactly what it implies, your and my Guardian(s) are new to it all and flailing their way around trying to learn the ins and outs of immortality and fighting for a giant ball in the sky. Rather they're an assigned fireteam or newbies clinging to each other in a sea of unfamiliarity, they've got a lot to learn together.
Follow my Lead - Same as above, except instead of everyone new to everything, a more experienced Guardian shows them the ropes. Rather they're happy to do it, or unfortunately assigned to after one to many newbie mishaps, is up in the air.
Solo Queue - Rather it's exploring lost sectors, finishing patrols, hopping into a round of the Crucible or even signing up for a strike, our Guardians find their way in a fireteam. If they work together well, constantly disagree, or one has to constantly pull the other out of danger, it's anybody's guess.
