I have a question.

If you were playing a game of chance with a group of people.

And you were in the final two, whoever gets the wrong roll loses.

And the other guy got a second chance, and you lost because you got the wrong roll.

How upset would you be?

But I'm still seething right now.

I would be too, but there's not much you can do about it now. Try not to let it bother you too much, not worth the stress.

I have this bad habbit of getting upset about video games, which this happened in.

But for once it's justified.

This game just so happens to be a game where: If I get the right items, I could genuinely get real world money for them. Some items go for thousands of dollars.

So losing because I got fucked over is infuriating.

Team Fortress 2 in a competitive spycrab tourney. The item itself is only like, 2 bucks, but that item could have been used as barter for a higher priced item. So on and so forth until it becomes something of super high quality and rarity.

Hmm, can't say that I've heard of it but it sounds pretty cool.

Yaeh, but I think the problem was that in his line of work there was no reason to be near the diner.

I had honestly wracked my brain trying to think of a reason a frontier scout, key word frontier, meaning on the edge of civilization, with only the bare minimum of connection to major population centers, would have to be at a wasteland diner.

And I honestly couldn't think of one. For a man who has lived his whole 60+ years of life on the frontier, scouting, mining and farming what land there well there is no reason to go to the major population centers I guess. A frontier town would have it's own smithy, it's own gun maker, it's own ammo press all of that to survive. And if it doesn't a group of frontier towns would have one to accommodate the needs of the many.

I'll figure out a way to meet up with the main group, if I have too. This being a sandbox RP, I guess we can make our own little side plots until things can make it so we can link up for awhile.

If that's so I think I can swing this whole subplot for my guy that's he's on the trail of an extremely dangerous type of creature, or several different creatures that are threatening the frontier. make it interesting tracking them down, getting into trouble along the way etc. Won't be as fun to RP just with myself at time, but I've done it before.

Aw, you shouldn't have to rp by yourself... I know it might be a little outlandish, but I have a possible idea if you wanted to hear it? There was something from my charry's past that I was going to see about bringing in at some point. Maybe it can be something that links to your charry somehow and draws him back to our group? Just throwing something out there, wouldn't want you to be bored or left out.

I've actually based entire RPs forum, IM and email based RPs, solely on RPing with myself in the past. Not because I'm bored but because the group decided to ignore me...atleast in one case. I think the other one was because there were too many.

I did it then I can do it now if need be.

But if you have an idea Libby (you don't mind if I call you that do you?) then I'm all ears.

Yeah sure, call me what you like. As for my idea, as I said before not sure if it would actually fly... But as a side/mini plot idea I had was to bring Skylar's past back to haunt her in a way. I was thinking she hadn't left on good terms with the bandits and has managed to keep her distance from them for a while... (In your case)Maybe they go and do some terrorizing out on the frontier and Tod goes after them? Follows them back to where they've heard rumors about Sky... Just a rough thing and I don't want to just assume it's alright with everyone else.. But would something like that work for bringing Tod back towards civilization?

He's a scout not a bounty hunter. That's atleast what I think that needs. Or a vigilante. Course it would be an interesting facet and way to get into the RP I suppose.

We could try and make it work.
