Yaay!

So, I'm just not gonna bother replying to you over PM because that would be kinda pointless since we've got this :P But yeah, that was a lot of writing haha. You're a really good writer, by the way. I love your description! Also, thank you! I love the name Charlotte but I like the nickname Charlie even more! It certainly suits her.

Anyways, I'm gonna go write my post! I'll just be a couple of minutes :)

Sweet! Take as much time as you need, I'll be on for a couple hours :)

Thanks! I've been totally spying on your most recent posts and I think you're a great writer too haha xD

Also, Nova Scotia! That's cool :)

I'm almost done, I just have one last paragraph to finish up!

Haha, oh my god I totally do that too! Before I start RPing with someone I'll always go look at their posts to see what they write like. Oh, and thanks :D

Yep... little old Nova Scotia. I honestly love it here, it's so quaint and some places are absolutely beautiful!

My roommate for the last two years is Canadian and she just went back to Montreal to go to grad school at McGill. I have tenuous plans to go visit her one of these days! I've never been to Canada.

I'm from North Carolina myself, but I haven't lived here that long :)

Okay, done! Hope ya like it :)

Ooh, I love Montreal! But where I stayed it was kinda dirty and there was a lot of homeless people. But there was good shopping!

I've never been to North Carolina (lets get real, I've hardly been anywhere :p), but I'm sure it's great! Haha, where were you before?

Your post was fantastic!! :D I knew you'd be good. I'm working on a reply right now ;)

Before North Carolina, I lived in Florida, and before that, Ohio and Texas and Washington DC. But I'm from California originally x) My dad's in the military so we moved around a lot. Now I've ended up in North Carolina, going to college here. Even though I'm sort of out of my parents' house, it's strange to think about living in place from now on. I feel like I'll want to move again in a few years lol.

Is it snowy up there at this time of the year? Man I bet summers are great where you live.

Yay, it makes me really happy to hear you say that xD

Holy Wow! So I'm assuming you don't take many vacations? :p I have a friend who has military parents and she moves quite a bit. Honestly I couldn't imagine it, I've lived in this house for almost a decade and before that I lived in the house my dad grew up in, haha. So I'm pretty deep rooted! Although I am considering moving to Toronto and going to school there in a few years, I love that city and I really just want to experience the city lifestyle.

We've had a really cold winter this year so we do still have snow, but today was actually really nice and even a little warm and some of the snow melted so there is grass! *happy dances* After Christmas winter just becomes miserable and long. But then spring comes and then summer not long after! And yes, summers are amazing! Not as warm as Florida or Cali are, but it's still nice and you can still get a nice tan *cough burn cough*!

Ackk sorry for disappearing last night - I crawled into bed as I was working on my post on my laptop and totally fell asleep x) Finished though!

I think it would be really nice to grow up in one place, and have all these long lasting connections with other people in the community. Maybe that's just a "the grass is always greener on the other side" kind of thing though. There's probably advantages to both.

Haha, you'd laugh if you saw how people down here react to snow, myself included x) If there's any possibility of snow the next day, all the schools get cancelled, or at least a two-hour delay. We had two inches of snow about a month ago here in Raleigh...and it was absolute chaos! xD The city doesn't really have the resources to deal with it, since snow is so rare here. So we get stuff like this happening ---> abc 11 news article The only place I've lived where we had snow every winter was Ohio, where they have snow plows and stuff to deal with it xD

Toronto would be cool! Do you know what you'd want to go to school for?

That's cool, I had to get some sleep anyways :P

Oh my god that's crazy! I'm pretty adapted to the cold, and honestly couldn't imagine not having it. I guess we're all prepared for it over here :p But there are these stupid people who decide that it's a good idea to wear crop tops while it's below freezing outside, like today there was some random freshman walking around in a tight crop top and leggings and I was just like "Are you fucked?" (Pardon my language, but really!)

Well I'm planning on going to med-school and becoming some sort of doctor. I'm really into neurology so what I want to do is go into neuroscience and study Alzheimer's. I just think it's such an awful disease, and honestly I could never imagine just losing all my memories or forgetting my family members, and not even realizing that it is happening.

Haha! Wow yeah, if it gets below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, then we considered it cold down here lol xD You'll see people in their big North Face jackets :P

Sweet, med-school! Very nice. You should be a writer on the side too lol - I'm loving your posts. Your descriptions are awesome. I'm in school right now, working towards a degree in graphic design. Also working part time. I'm actually on my break right now xD Its killing me because all I want to do is get home and reply to the RP x) I'm done at 11pm bleghghghghg

Yeah, Alzheimer's is a tough one :(

Now at least that's rational, haha!

That's actually the plan! My goal is to publish my debut novel before or shortly after I graduate from high school. Also, thanks man! Your posts are pretty awesome as well :) Ooh, graphic design, that seems like a lot of fun! What types of things would you being doing after you earn your degree?

I don't really have a job *cries and cleans cobwebs from my wallet*. Long story short, my best friend took my position and I never got another one. It's not like it's her fault though, when she accepted the job she hadn't realized that it was the same one I've had for several years. Anyways, I'll most likely be on at 11, but if not assume that I fell asleep :p

Back home yay xD Hopefully I'll post my reply before you fall asleep ;)

Woah, cool, do you know what your novel will be about? Can I buy a copy? xD My plan after graduation is to work as a graphic designer for an advertisement agency. So thd company would take on clients, businesses, no-profit groups, etc, and create their identity through branding, logos, ads, all that, and I would be part of the team that designs and prints all of those things x) I'm working on getting an internship for the summer so I can start making some connections. I actually started out learning traditional printmaking like woodblock, lino, screen print and stuff, but now I'm learning photoshop and illustrator, and totally in love with them x)

Aw that sucks ;_: Are you trying to find another one? My job's not too glamorous - just a cashier at a tiny grocery store heh. But they're so flexible with hours, it's a nice part time job to have while in school.

So you're in high school? What grade?

I've been toying with a couple ideas, and I'm just trying to fit everything in nicely. I do know it's going to be like some John Greene novels. Very tragic and heart wrenching and it'll certainly make people think. You can have a signed copy when I get all famous! :p Jk, jk! Also, that sounds really cool and artsy. You must have a really good imagination and be incredibly innovative to do something like that! What would be your ultimate goal with your career? Like would you want to ever own your own advertisement agency or something?

I have a really inflexible schedule, so a lot of people around here won't hire me. My plan is to get a summer job as a counselor at a day camp which would be fun, I think, and hopefully next year I'll get a spot teaching dance again. I know there is one opening up with the ballet program and I'm hoping that I'll get it! Yours sounds like a good job, I wish I could find something with flexible hours.

Yeah, unfortunately. I'm a actually a sophomore!

A sophomore eh? You must be 15 or 16? I must seem so old to you then, me being 21 and all x) And turning 22 this summer ;_; Make it stop. xD

John Greene! Nice, I'm guessing you've read The Fault in Our Stars too? And yep, send me a signed copy once you make it big xD Actually, make that a couple, so I can make a few bucks selling them online ;)

Hmm, I think eventually it would be cool to create my own design company, or a partnership or something. But that's way down the line! It sounds like you're a very imaginative, creative person yourself. Ambitious too. Do you also do ballet, since you mentioned teaching a class? I helped coach a kids soccer team earlier this spring x) Those are the best kinds of part time jobs. Doesn't feel like work at all and you get your exercise on top of that x)

I turned 16 at the beginning of the year actually. But I'm still refusing to get behind the wheel of a car. I really suck at it, haha. Honestly though, 21 doesn't seem that much of a stretch, I have a bunch of friends in their early/mid twenties so I'm kinda use to being around older people. But I totally get it... sometimes I start thinking about my future and all of that crap and it's like 'Okay, I can go back to being a dirt-eating five year old now, thanks'

I actually haven't read many of his books, I just know what they're like and what they're about. I make it a point not to read the style I write just in case I think I have an original idea but it's not. I'm more of a Stephen King buff to be honest! Also, I'll make sure to do that ;) Haha

It's always good to dream big! My life quote is "Go Hard or Go Home" haha. But that would be so cool to have your own company and everything, oh I could just imagine it!

I'm actually a competitive dancer, I'm on a team with thirteen other girls and we do everything from ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, etc. I taught a musical theater class the past couple of years and you're right jobs like that are awesome! Are you a soccer player then??

Yeah, I've always had more friends that were either younger or older than me, rather than people my own age x) That's kind of weird I guess xD I'm a couple years older than the other students in my design program, so right now most of my friends are just a little younger. I think once you get to a certain age though, a couple years really doesn't make a whole lot of difference.

Wow, a competitive dancer! That's amazing. Man, that will keep you in shape I bet? Yep, I'm a soccer player :) I played on my school's team all through high school and I play club soccer here at my university. My brother plays too, so we always make sure to have a mini scrimmage match when I visit home haha. Are you tiny then if you're a dancer?? I have one friend who does ballet and she's unbelievably petite. She calls me a giant, even though I'd say I'm only slightly taller than average x)

That's not weird at all! I have some friends my own age but I wouldn't consider them incredibly close. Like I don't tell them a lot of stuff, they're kinda untrustworthy. I prefer to spend my time with more mature people. So you're right, once you get older age difference matter as much.

Club soccer, huh? That's more competitive then house, correct? Honestly I know nothing about the sport or like the levels and stuff, but I am curious! Haha, yeah it does help me stay fit (I'd be so overweight if I didn't dance... like the only other thing I do is eat and sleep) :p I am smaller then average I suppose, I'm super lanky and kind of board like, curves are a distant wish let me tall ya! But it is good that I'm smaller, a bet your friend had a perfect ballet body type. You need to be skinny and flat chested for ballet companies to even look at you. xD

So there's basically three levels of sports you can do in college, at least here in the US. At the top is varsity, which is for the superstar athletes. Those are the players that get recruited by the school, play on tv, get tons of perks, all that stuff. Then you have the club team, which is still pretty competitive, especially for the popular sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc., but it's no where near the level of varsity x) And finally there's intramural, which is just for fun and pretty much anybody can play. So yeah: varsity, club, intramural.

So which kind of dance is your favorite? Once, when I was like ten, my mom tried to get me to do jazz dance. But I was such a tomboy and thought it was too girly. But now I think it would have been pretty cool xD

Okay, okay... I think I get ya. Here we have house league, which is what some of my friends play, and I'm pretty sure that's just like intramural! So you're school has a club team that you play on? Did you have to try out or was it like a whoever signs up type of thing?

My favorite type is contemporary for sure and Jazz/Musical Theater take a close second! Haha, I went through my tom boy stage and quit ballet when I was younger. Luckily I still stayed in jazz but I'll always regret quitting ballet because if I hadn't I would be so much more advanced now.
