Personal Style: Jules was once very meticulous about how she styled herself. Preferring a bit of edge to her outfit. Most of her wardrobe consisted of tight skinny jeans and dark colored shirts. She was known to have a soft spot for a good plaid overshirt as well as leather jackets. She also used to dabble in makeup, only doing rather simple looks with it though.
However, times have changed. Since the world went to the dogs, Jules has shifted from caring about how good an outfit looked to caring more about how practical it is. The clothing she wears now have shifted into a more casual style that allows her movement to fight as well as whatever fits the weather. Most of her shirts are plain t-shirts or tank tops of varying colors and are often matched with plain jeans. Although she still tends to keep around a leather jacket or two.

Optimistic * Caring * Stubborn * Impulsive

Personality: Juliet is a caring soul that often tries to see the best of bad situations. Of course, Jules has learned a few hard lessons over the past years. For one, she doesn't trust as easily as she once did and tends to be very protective of her people, her role as leader making her decisions affect not only herself but those around her. However, she's very impulsive with her decisions, usually not taking the time to discuss them until they've already happened.
While she might not have the makings of a natural leader, she takes on the responsibilities with stride and has garnered a great deal of experience under her belt over the last few years. Her normally positive attitude seemed to draw in the people she now has around her and following her lead. As a leader, she is a peaceseeker as well as a protector. She likes to avoid confrontation with outsiders, but if pushed she will stand her ground. She may have a caring nature but she is by no means a doormat. To protect her people and the future they want to build, she'd meet any challenge head on.
One of her major weaknesses, however, is that she gets too caught up in making the future look like the past that many times she may forget the reality of the cruel present.
Habits: Cracking her knuckles when she's stressed, daydreams when unoccupied

Fears:
- Making the wrong decision
- Heights
- Being alone

- Autumn Weather

History
A Memory: A memory that is likely more prominent than anything else was the first time she took someone else's life. It was something Jules had never thought she would have to do and still hates the thought of it since her goal in life was to save people. Her first kill happened during the attack her family faced where her brother was killed. She had been locked in a fight with one of the bandits. He was relentless and backed her into a corner, where it left her with only one option. With nowhere to run, she aimed a killing strike to his throat. She still remembers the way he gargled before collapsing to the ground, dead. Juliet knows she had no other choice and has killed many others that have threatened her safety or that of her people but this one represents a turning point to her of when she realized how much the world had changed.
History: Growing up, Jules had a fairly average life. As a child she was a bubbly young girl that would often try to play peacemaker out on the playground. That is until some other little kid would pull her hair or otherwise pick on her, in which she would quickly burst into and tattle on them to the nearest adult. It was the fastest way to make enemies and not the best way to make friends, unbeknownst to her at the time. She made a life long enemy of a girl named Victoria (life long because Victoria unfortunately didn't make it through the apocalypse). She did however make a life long friend there as well. After receiving a dandelion from John during one of her outbursts, little Juliet accepted the gesture and soon the two were inseparable.
As time went on, her friend group shifted around and boys (girls as well once she realized her orientation in highschool) came and went but John always remained her best friend. Jules eventually fell on hard times during high school as her mother's cancer continued to weaken her. During the beginning of her sophomore year, her mother finally lost the fight. For a good year or so Jules sunk into a fairly deep depression as it was her first major loss and things at the home became tense with grief. Her father, losing his wife and now being the only parent of three kids, disconnected from them and buried himself in his work to forget the pain. Jules' younger brothers began to isolate themselves as well.
By the time junior year came around, somethings had been repaired within the family as they adjusted to the new normal. Jules had found normalcy in her friendship with John, which acted like an anchor during the difficult time. It allowed her to find her passion amongst her grief and she decided that she wanted to dedicate herself to helping people. The unfortunate part was that she was never an outstanding student. Channeling in all the focus she could, the rest of her high school career was largely focused on her studies. Which also unintentionally lead to the break up between her and her high school sweetheart, Beth, who felt like she was being ignored.
Her hard work eventually paid off as she got into one of the universities further north of their hometown. And, better yet, so did her best friend. As she began her studies to become a doctor, her life finally felt like it was heading in the right direction. New school, same good friend, and new potential dates. But nothing ever goes as planned. Jules didn't even get her first degree of many when the nukes went flying between the countries.
She was back at her hometown with her father and brothers when it all went down. In a panic, the small family grabbed the survival stuff they could and camped out in their basement for a good two months. Eventually though, they had to go back into the outside world and once they did, it wasn't the same.
Her time after was a very difficult journey and she learned many skills from it. Her youngest brother was killed by some bandits they encountered, her older brother accidentally exposed himself to too much radiation and suffered a slow death. After that, her father just gave up. He couldn't handle the new world and took his own life with a gun. Jules might have followed if she hadn't already developed a closeness with the other survivors they had met along the way. They kept her going long enough for her to come out of the darkness. And once she did, Jules took on the new world head on.
With newly discovered strength, she accidentally landed herself as the new leader of the group after the old one also perished to radiation poisoning. Out of the original group, only herself and two others remain, the two being Adrian Castellano and Skye Weston. However, over the years, new faces have come and gone but there are some that have stuck around. Jules leadership has remained unwavering and unchallenged (for the most part) over the last three years. She and her group have constructed a base. They built houses from the rubble that the old society left and secured it with large wooden fences in an effort to reclaim the world that had been destroyed.

Character Quote: "If you're still breathing, then there's still hope."
Theme Song:
Anything Else: She has a collection of her old college textbooks about nursing as well as a few ones she managed to find along the way. They're very precious to her as she refers to them whenever she comes across an injury or illness she's unsure about how handle so she usually keeps them buried away in her home for safe keeping.
